Watch these guys! I ordered several items as a prime member. I get an email about one of the items shipping and notice the invoice amount is 25% higher than it should be. After a little research I notice they have charged me freight. So I decided to call customer service for the US and Canada. Well I get India! Go figure! After a bad connection and language issues customer service went through a long process of wanting to cancel my prime, credit my account and then have me pay for prime again. All I wanted him to do is credit back the freight I was being charged. Needless to say the conversation went south pretty quick and I asked to speak with someone in the US. That's when he got really mad and said " There is no one available for me to speak to and he was cancelling the account'. My response was fine and I hung up the phone.
I have never been a fan of this company and am even less now. I will tell everyone I know about the way they do business and am done the them.
Average service and lagging behind eBay in customer care - bought an item using FBA and really not a good service - only thing that saved them and gave 3 stars is that i bought a business on amazon and know I can do better for my customers learning from their mistakes - they did fix it in the end so 3* it is.
Have used Amazon prime for years for to purchase many products, movies and books. 100% satisfied. Have had two order problems which they took care of immediately and even added extra accessories at no cost.

I've been shopping on Amazon for at least 15 years. I started buying all of my books (I read constantly) on Amazon. I used to get the used books for a very good price. They would be delivered to me within a couple of days. Then a few years ago, my husband bought me my 1st Kindle and I have had a ball having books delivered automatically to my device.
The company I work for uses Amazon for all of it's prizes, gifts, office supplies, etc. They even give us Amazon gift cards for bonuses on occasion.

I provide honest reviews from my experience in dealing with a company and Amazon is one of the best I have ever encountered. I have ordered tons of items from them and the items are always just as advertise and the delivery is fast. If other companies I have done business with operated as effective as Amazon I would give them a good rating too, But you have to earn customers ratings.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
