I have purchased ecodot free of charge yesterday, but now customer service is saying it is an error. How can be Amazon making mistakes like this. I, m prime member and they should recheck all promotions before releasing to their website. I spoke to Scott - customer service supervisor and he is being very rude and simply saying it is a mistake and had cancel my order. They should honor what we have purchased through online. Im no longer trusting Amazon. Simply saying, it is online CRAP.!
I love Amazon, I love Prime - I just hate the fact that a retailer is becoming so big that it will soon take over. My shop small and local guilt sometimes takes over when I run to the computer and place an Amazon order.
I have never had an issue returning merchandise to Amazon, I've never received a wrong order or a damaged order and I've been a customer for years. So I am here to stay as Amazon takes over the earth.

I have shopped with Amazon for years and every time there has been a problem they have provided exceptional customer service. Most times there is no problem, just fast delivery of what was ordered but when very occasionally something goes wrong they are great always fixing it. One thing that I especially appreciate is the person on the phone has the authority to make it right - reship it or refund it or whatever is needed. It has never taken more than one call to sort a problem out and that really stands out as how it should be done.

I can often find items I can't find in department stores. A lot of times prices are quite a bit cheaper.

Ordered Eclipse glasses on Aug 1 - Aug 1 people! Here it is Friday before eclipse and updated shipping date is Aug 24 (WTF!?!?). To be clear these were not glasses affected by the recall - so no points on that one Amazon
Maybe they weren't prepared and didn't know that an eclipse was happening on Aug 21?
To be fair I have usually received everything I order as expected but c'mon eclipse glasses with almost a 3 week lead time? They kept giving me updates and like a fool I kept believing them (first it was the 7th then by the 11th then 15th then 17th) they even showed the nice little bar that the order was on the way - ha ha!
Not sure what else I could have done - maybe ordered them 3 or 4 months ago? No one has any now so really screwed - again thanks Amazon appreciate it!

Amazon; tells you and accuracy when is coming, reviews of the product, new or used, different kinds of shipping method, and you even track your order. Many different kinds of thigs you can look for.
It used to be that Amazon had what I wanted and at the best price. Either they have dropped standards or everyone has caught up. I still shop there but they don't get all of my money now. I bought a Samsung tablet yesterday and beat Amazon's price by $100.

Fast and furious. It is the first place we think to look for fast, dependable service. When we return items, they process the credit as soon as the item hits the mail, not when it hits their receiving dock. Wow.
Bought a package of SALIMBENE ESPRESSO COFFEE on Amazon.com It's supposed to be the best espresso in the world, at least according to a blind tasting of all kinds of espressos in Europe by CREMA magazine. I am always on the look out for a good espresso and this one is by far the smoothest espresso I have ever drank. It's the most expensive one, but I have to admit it is the best one I have ever had.

If you are an Online shopper Amazon is a staple. Their return policy and willingness to help with bad retailers is one of the reasons I use them often.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
