I have save a lot of money by shopping at Amazon versus shopping in a store. I don't have to drive anywhere, and most importantly, I don't purchase impulse items like I would in a store. Prime is worth every penny

Amazon is a good example of a strictly online business. I don't remember a problem with a purchase, that took more than a few days to settle. Others' reviews of a 1 star... not so good, and I am in the same position with another, unnamed, well known business for home goods. Okay--it's Houzz. Corruption I never knew I'm still enduring.
I order a mattress cover. I was sent the wrong size. The mattress cover was sent in a 6 foot huge box and it was vacuum seal. So when I opened it, it was 10 times bigger. To my surprise they have sent me the wrong size. I have call amazon many of times about this item. I have no way of sending it back, because I can not get back in the box. I have no use for this. Amazon refuse to tell me how to repack it to ship it back or give me a refund. Then after days of calling finally a amazon rep promise me I would get a refund for my trouble. I ask her twice she said yes I would. Just to make sure I called back and ask a second amazon rep she said yes you are getting a refund. The next day I am told I am not, they cant help me with shipping it back either. I am stuck with something I have to pay for that I have no use for. Will not ever shop with amazon again. They very rude and not honest
I really like to shop on Amazon, sometimes I find what I need a little bit more pricey that in other places, but with prime shipping most times we end up paying less... Shipping is super reliable and most times my purchase arrived even before the time given!

Have great experiences with amazon. Hot happy about the refer a friend, 5.00 which neither of us have ever received. I ordered a two day item, but it took a week. I subscribe to Amazon Prime Video, but cant get it to wirk.

I order from Amazon very often, at least once a month. I love the selection of items that I can browse. I've ordered everything from shoes to make up. I am not a Prime member, but I should really sign up, as they have great perks for shoppers. If the item I order is shipped by Amazon, it's pretty much guaranteed that the order will arrive within a few days. But if its offered by a sub contractor it may take a little longer. I have only had one bad experience with a shipment. I ordered an eye shadow palette that arrived broken. I snapped a pic and sent it to the seller and my Amazon account was credited that day. So I love Amazon!
Amazon is the best, get Amazon Prime and you get your items you order in 2 days. So easy to order from them.
I've bought lots of stuff from Amazon. Most of it is junk, or way overpriced compared to what you can get it for from other sellers. I do not recommend this company, except to price shop something and buy it elsewhere for less.

Way back in 2002 I was an early adopter of online retail and banking. It took a few years for the rest of the world to catch up. I only wish I had of bought shares in Amazon back then too. Always had great dealings with Amazon, as a third party or middle man to transactions the customer service has been excellent. They always try to make good any transaction. I have even had products gone missing and the odd posts disappear and Amazon have honored the deal. Look how big they are now.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
