VerbatimThe overall products on amazon are pretty good, some do fall way beyond standard especially when ordering through a third party. I will have to say that their policies on reviews and revoking review privileges are very BAD. I personally do Quality Control Checks for a lot of companies. I pay for my items out of my own pocket but also submit an invoice to the companies of the items I purchase for along with my unbiased reviews. In turn they do reimburse me for my purchases that I do for them and sometimes get paid extra which I use to purchase items for my self. I have been a prime member since 2014 I now have my review privileges revoked, They have sent me an email stating that their decision is final and no information for their decision was given and no further information will be given. This is sad. Since the reviews that they do have posted are biased since they are copied exactly as they have stated the products are according to the box. For a company this large with a customer base around the world I would love to see a National Ban Amazon Purchase Week. Just to let this company know that the customer comes first. And if they want Quality product reviews then maybe they need to look at their self first not the customers spending hundreds if not thousands of man hours actually testing their products, measuring, weighing, and putting them through their paces and taking pictures and videos of them actually in action
Last night, a little after 9 pm, November 8,2017, I ordered a 2 pack flashlight item from Amazon.com. It was Amazon fulfillment item. I was instantly charged for the balance of the item, $17.40 and my Amazon gift card balance of $3.58 was applied to the purchase total. I canceled within the hour, the $3.58 gift card balance was restored, but the completed transaction charge was not reversed and will not be reversed, because THREE CSRs have told me that it is not possible that I was charged, that it is just an authorization hold and will be removed when my bank's policies prescribe.

Sometimes they talk to each other, its hilarious! I adore our little Echo, she is an awsome addition to our family. We even take her on vacation with us! She plays our favorite music, acts like a cooking timer, tells us the temperature outside and weather for the day or week, will tell you a joke and will even help you cheat in scrabble. That is just to name a few of her many many tricks, Lol... This little item is truly a priceless gem.
I love having music I love playing simply by asking Alexa. You don't need Amazon Prime to use this, and it is so easy to use.

You can find anything you are looking for on Amazon, normally delivered next day or within two days of ordering excellent products and service.

I have used Amazon online for two friends children who live in San Francisco. Not wanting to pay exhorbitant amounts for postage from Australia on anything I get for them. I use Amazon for a selection of toys. I have never had any issues with any deliveries, I also read the recviews about the toys I buy. I cannot wait til we get Amazon in Australia soon.
Made a purchase, thank God a relatively small one. Purchase amount charged to bank account as it should be. However my available balance was reduced by the same amount again. That is, twice the purchase amount. Found this out when I tried to use debit card at CVS, would not go thru. Contacted bank, they said the authorization had not been deleted when the actual charge went thru. Bank could not remove, said Amazon screwed up and would need to fix it. Amazon customer service could not even understand the problem, let alone fix it. Said the authorization would clear in 8-10 business days. You kidding me! I will not order again from Amazon unless I can tolerate a double hit to my bank for a couple weeks. Unbelieveable!

I use Amazon Canada but I'm sure it's the same in the USA. The selection is great and the service is awesome. The orders come quickly and there's good communication re the tracking etc.

When a company remenbers the people that made them successful that's when it grows, I have not been a customer long of Amazon but recently when having a issue the way in which I was treated and how it was handled... I will forever be a fan!
Amazon has everything. I never need to leave the house. I like the way they alert you when delivered and the items are quality. If you have any type of a problem they are there to help. I have always been able to return an item and get a refund if needed.
With Amazon prime, they ship the items to you in a day or two, and that is great. They also help with returns if there is a problem from the sellers. You do have to comparison shop as the prices on things fluctuate, and you can sometimes find items on other sites for cheaper. But as far as convenience, it is hard to beat Amazon.com.

I love the convenience of online shopping and Amazon Prime was always my go to shopping, but recently Prime has been quite unreliable. The average delivery is more like 3 days sometimes as many as 5. I had a refrigerator get "lost" after I got the email it was shipped. Took me two hours of customer support to get this one resolved as the specific model I needed was no longer in stock and I had already built the framing for it in my camper. It was eventually resolved amicably, but shopping shouldn't be this hard. Still plan on shopping with Amazon but dropped the Prime. Just isn't worth it to me anymore.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
