I have been shopping on Amazon for many years. Fast shipping with Prime membership and ease returns. I always recommend this company.
I live so far away from my grown children. I love ordering off of Amazon and having the packages sent to them direct. No mailing hassles on my part.
90% of the time, I am completely satisfied with Amazon. The most common issue I have is shipping, I've ordered things with free 2 day shipping that have always arrived when expected, but other things I've ordered with standard shipping, seem to sit in a warehouse somewhere until shipping time estimate arrives, causing late arrival more often than pleases me. I believe they do this to try to incentivise customers into joining Prime or paying higher rates for shipping priority. I've handled shipping and receiving duties during my career and sales that would have gone to Amazon lately, have gone elsewhere that handle S/H more the way I always did.
For a positive note, I only have received one order, in the several years I've been a customer, that didn't meet my expectations due to a missing part, but the cost of getting it on my own was less than the hassle of dealing with Amazon on the issue.
When ever Im in need anything from common products to the obscure Amazon has a solution. With prime orders are processed and delivered quickly. If by chance you have any issue with your order, their customer service representatives gladly resolve them in a professional and timely manner
Love this place and their service. Can usually return anything that doesn't work out for a refund. Shipping is excellent and prices are reasonable. Let your fingers do the walking and buying.
I used to love going on Amazon and shopping. The new layout and pigeon holing experience is not so enjoyable. I now find that I will go to other websites more often so that I can view more freely. I like to be able to see things that I may normally not look at but sparks my interest. Now it seems I need to know what I want and just type that in when I go on to Amazons website. I guess you are just saving me a lot of money so "Thanks".
Been with amazon for over 10 years and have been a prime member since it was offered. They recently lost all my faith and therefore my business. I have had to contact amazon about incorrect and delayed shipments this year more than all the years I have been a member and three times just this week. They don't care not one bit and just throw refunds at you. It used to be it would go back to your card but now they are just giving you store credit so even if you do get your money back you can't use it anywhere but at amazon and on top of that it only applies to items sold by amazon exclusively... so is it really a "refund"? As amazon gets bigger it will only suffer the same problems that got me shopping on there in the first place and for me I started shopping on amazon because I was tired of poor customer service and inflexible store policies. (ie. Walmart, Target, etc.) I bet they won't even see this post or care but they just lost a customer who used to buy thousands of dollars of goods a year exclusively with amazon and would rather stand in line at Walmart then deal with their lies. Ultimately calling and chatting and tracking packages all day takes up more time than standing in line.
Two day shipping is fast and good. Good prices and has almost everything you need, I have never had a problem with Amazon and have not returned any products ever.
Congrats amazon for the 2017 Customer Choice Award. No wonder if you guys receive the same for 2018 because Amazon is the No 1 Marketplace.
Never have a problem. Order over 600 items. Return 2 no problem. Fast delivery, great price. Always behind the product.
Easy to use. Great support. No hassle. Don`t have to go to crazy malls. Have lots of stuff you can`t find in local stores. Prime is a great feature. If I ever had a problem, it was rectified expediently. While other box stores were sleeping, Amazon was quietly building up. Walmart, what a joke.
I am a prime member and love the 2 day shipping. I have never had a problem returning anything. I find everything on their site.
Their customer service and care of our animals is 5 star. They are punctual and the employees are genuinely concerned about the welfare of the animals. They always send a little report with photos. If you are away from home, rest assured that you will feel comfortable while they care for your pets.
I have always been a happy customer of Amazon until recently. I bought Batman Vs Superman combo blu ray disc. And the seller was amazon but when I played both discs it was obvious is was a fake copy/ or defective I hope. I hope given the fraudulent products some people buy on Amazon even those bought by Amazon the seller. It played horribley.

If you buy from Amazon, and you're really buying from Amazon, it usually turns out great. But half the time, even though you're on Amazon, you're really buying from some other random company, and that's a whole lot sketchier. People seem to get the wrong stuff, or counterfeit stuff, or just much crappier stuff all the time when it's not directly from Amazon. I wish they made it easier to only buy direct from them.
Couldnt be a better place to shop online. Free shipping, so much to choose from, prices, are reasonable, and they deliver your items FAST! I just cant say say enough to describe how much I love them!
I have ordered many things from Amazon. I have had two issues where I had to get a replacement item for defective electronics and when I notified them of the problem they had the supplier contact me via email and once I told the vendor(s) the problem they sent replacements no charge and I didnt even have to send the defective unit back. My only gripe is that they dont accept PayPal
My account was hacked and the bottom-feeder used my gift card to purchase something. I called Amazon customer service (loose term) and sorta-spoke to a rep - sorta because her accent was so thick it was very hard to understand her especially when she talked over me. I explained the situation several times and after being on hold for 15 minutes while she researched she said she'd call back. That took an hour+ and she called and said she'd felid the situation over to an account manager who'd contact me in 24-48 hours. Later that day I got an email saying my password was disabled and when I logged in again I had to change it and re-add all of my shipping addresses. So today I tried to log in, but when I did the Forget-Password screen, entering my email address, I got an error - no such email address. Had the same one for 13 years and have been on Amazon about the same time and bought HUNDREDS of items. So I decided to torture myself and called customer service and got another accented rep. I explained the situation multiple times, and spelled my email address multiple times and she said she'd turn it over to an account rep and I'd hear back from them in 24-28 hours. GOOD GOD! Am I dirt? Unimportant? They don't want my business? Can they not FIX THIS NOW? Some idiot disabled not only my password but my email ID and I'm paying for their inefficiency in stress and grief.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
