I listed, sold and shipped speakers with Amazon 4 weeks ago. I have yet to be paid. I called and after struggling to understand the Indian rep, they acknowledged they owed me but could not explain why I hadn't been paid. After a few ore calls I was told to stop calling and file my concerns via email. After several emails I was told my account is under review, then at the two week mark, I was asked to stop emailing them and that they would get to me within 45 days. They stole my speakers and they are acting like pimps now. WOW

Great Price

Just bought a Dot for my Alexa and saved 20 bucks.The voice is the same but not as good sound quality as in the Echo. But use now for my alarm clock in Bedroom. Love it.IF you have the Echo get the dot. I did.

Great for most things

I like looking for things that I can't find locally, and to compare prices for some that I can. If I have to return something it is easy and painless most of the time, easier than brick and motar store.

Treatment of staff

The latest report by an undercover agent in the press goes to show how diabolical the treatment of Amazon packing and dispatch staff in the UK is. Absolutely disgraceful - I will never use Amazon again.

As a Prime member I enjoy free delivery throughout the year. I use Amazon often if I can't find it in the store I go home and look it up on Amazon and they always have it. I love Amazon.

I am a big fan!

Amazon is my go-to place to shop for almost anything. I am a Prime member and I get free shipping for almost everything I buy. They have it all: music, electronics, clothes, food for you and your pets.

I have never had trouble with shipments or returns, and I have been shopping at Amazon for years.

I do all of my holiday shopping at Amazon and have it wrapped and delivered.

I love Amazon!

Delivery is always ontime. Fast and convenient. Customer service is always happy to help. Especially around the holidays. Im sure they get flooded with calls. They always seem to have a smile on their face even though its through voice you can always tell. Thank you amazon

Amazon is good!

I am not a speed reader, but I do read a lot of books. I get content for my Kindle app from several different places, including Amazon.com.
Content (as long as it is in a format used by the Kindle app) can be sent to Amazon.com and registered in their cloud storage for free. I've been a member of Amazon since 2012 and have sent over 2,500 different. Mobi,. Pdf and. Epub files to be stored in the Kindle cloud.
Unfortunately, today I found out that Amazon/Kindle can't find much of the content I've sent/registered with them. Amazon insists all my content is still registered and available but can only find 357 different files. (This "lost" content is the reason Amazon.com doesn't get 5 stars from me.)

I cant say enough about Amazon! From great deals, customer support (if I need it), and keeping track of every single purchase Ive ever made... which is a huge undertaking. Prime is awesome and the endless options is why Ill NEVER stop shopping here. Amazon does what no other online retailer does!

Shipping can be pricey, but orders are handled very efficiently - provided there are no requests attached.
Amazon does not respond to special requests, like delayed shipping - you place the order, payment is approved, and the goods are on the way.
Customer service can be time-consuming, as you do not deal with a single person, if you need to make multiple contacts.
Overall, a good organisation to deal with when you are up to play with the system.

Honestly, I never really cared much for Amazon. I thought they were just a blood sucking company like Walmart that put all the small businesses out of business. However, I not only love Amazon because I'm a shopaholic and can find everything I want for usually much cheaper but, they have helped small businesses and entrepreneurs grow their businesses in a way no other company has done. So for that I commend Amazon and will remain loyal. I love their platform and mobile app. The one issue I have with Amazon is the Prime Program. I was a Prime member in the past and it was okay but there was nothing too special. Honestly, I was just using it for 2 day shipping. However, most of my items ship within 2 to 4 days anyway. I really am not that desperate for something to arrive immediately. I also didn't use any of the other benefits like music, shows, books, etc. This is why Prime is a waste for most people. Unless you are going to use all the benefits, it may not be worth it. However, prime never played a major role on whether or not I shop on Amazon.

I have had issues with Amazon for the last year. Due to amazon charging my purchases to a card that was not the default method I removed all cards except for one. Well I joined Prime and they charged some purchases to Amazon store and some to a Wells Fargo card that was not on my payment method. I spent many hours talking to "American" supervisors that in no way sounded American. I have spent nearly 30 hours on days, afternoons and nights trying to speak to a competent person to no avail. At that point I cancelled prime and put Wells Fargo charge as the only and default method. Of course amazon charged some purchases to Wells Fargo and again illegally to my Discover card that was not in any method of payment. I have wrote to the BBB, CFPB and Attorney General and am waiting for a response. I get messages from Mahendra an amazon person wan ting me to explain what the problems are. They are not capable of looking at purchases and billing method? Totally beyond belief. BTW Prime never came close to a decent delivery time, took at least a week and up to 14 days for a delivery. Walmart delivered within 3 days. Bezos-the founder-said amazon was a failing company and it is not a prediction but a fact the way I have been treated. Totally inept.
