Amazon is the online shopping site, Great customer service. You can find pretty much anything on Amazon. I have Prime and now buy everything that I'd normally buy at other sites, because of the competitive pricing plus free shipping. When I've had issues with the seller, Amazon stepped in and made it right to my satisfaction.

For years I've been a regular Amazon.com Prime customer, and had once found their offerings and customer service both to be (past tense) terrific. During these past 6 months however I've observed some changes in the customer experience of this "customer centric company"; several of my orders now arrive minus total quantities, fragile items are not packed well at all or arrive completely damaged, and some missing orders only arrive after a follow up email is sent to Amazon.com Founder, Chairman, and CEO Mr. Jeff Bezos. In one recent month, 10 of my orders have arrived in an abysmal state; upon a review of each parcel it was not the fault of the shipping company.
In the interim, Amazon Prime Movies that were once available for no fee to paying Amazon Prime members are now available for additional fees.
All the while, Amazon.com has raised its annual Amazon Prime Fee to $119.:

Amazon has improved over the years. If there really is a problem which customer service seems to neglect you can even contact Jeff Bezos himself. To my surprise I got an answer and a nice reward in return. Recommended the most.
I have a prime membership and I love everything Amazon. I own an Alex and I am going to buy a Kindle reader. I really like Amazon's user-friendly website for shopping.
Getting Amazon Prime is one of the BEST things I could have done as an online shopper. I can place an order knowing that most of my items will come to me in less then 3 days. Paying the price to become a prime member is more than worth it. It's not just the fast and free delivery that's included, but the music, movie and video streaming as well as the audible books. It's worth it! If you place online orders that you need in a hurry, you can see for yourself online that the cost of shipping is often more than the items themselves. NOT WITH PRIME! Pay the fee man!

Have been a prime member for years. Whenever I need something I look there first. Very few places offer points back and free shipping like they do. When something does not show up they will make sure you are quickly refunded and supplied with the product asap.
I used to LOVE Amazon. Recently however I have noticed some changes that I'm not very happy with. A product that I loved and bought religiously at a GREAT price, gets an "Amazon" Choice" button and suddenly, the price goes up and the quantity is limited to 1? MOST RECENTLY: Prime Pantry - Apparently, NOW, you get a 30 day free subscription. After that you pay $4.99/month to use it? So, I already pay Amazon Prime $99/year, and now you want me to pay $60 more for Prime Pantry? Am now checking out Walmart.com, Target. Com, etc... I may be on the verge of ending Amazon's and my relationship.
You can find pretty much anything on Amazon. Prices are very competitive due to the multiple vendors for each product. There are always enough reviews to evaluate the product thoroughly before buying, phone customer service has always been courteous and effective. I have used Amazon for several years. Not once have I been disappointed in ordering from year. Ive bought my college books, Ive sold my college books, bought things I like and need. If Ive had questions the company has answered or some other helpful users. Will continue to buy from here.
Ordered some books (Murdoch Mysteries) and they arrived in excellent condition and on time. The die cuts I ordered for my Sizzix die cutting machine was split into 3 orders, but arrived on schedule. I have started a binder to track my die cuts and punches, so I will be adding sample die cuts to the binder. Die cuts are expensive, so using a binder will eliminate double purchases-I hope
Every time I search a movie I want to watch it is not available despite my prime membership. Most of the time Im searching for an old movie which you would think would be available but they never are regardless of the title and its age. I receive emails reminding me to make use of my prime membership for movies but the ones I want to see are not available. Why wouldnt movies from the 80s, 90s or early 2000s cost me money or not be available?
Amazon is not my first pick when it comes to shopping but I do like that they offer the wish list option which is a great way to keep up with things that I am interested in wither its for buying later or just looking at things I find interesting. Generally I save things in wish lists to share with friends or family that I think might benefit from them. I really like that pretty much anything & everything I have ever ordered from Amazon as a normal member has come in really fast shipping wise. That can be hard to come by now days with many sites even more those who have special programs or membership like PRIME.
I can not rate the returns because I have never had to return anything. I have only been burned once but that was many years ago on an airbed that bubbled up after first sleeping on it which they claimed would never happen. Not a big deal, I am long over that now.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
