More & more the guaranteed deliveries are being 'delayed in transit'. They need to tell the truth about estimated delivery dates so you can decide whether to purchase from a brick & mortar store or wait for it to be delivered. I've used Amazon for years and each year it declines more & more. So much for convenience.
I have been using amazon.com to get supplies and products for over a year now. While the customer service should be improved, I never had any problems regarding deliveries and product quality. Item always matched description, which is a plus. Personally would recommend given the price/quality ratio and the fast delivery. Four stars
I mailed an item back that I got From my baby shower on September 9 and when I contacted Amazon at the end of September they told me that my item was received at the warehouse September 12 so they told me it would take a maximum of two business days, I waited and still no refund so I contacted again. They told me the same thing again so I waited and once again no refund to my Amazon account. It is now October 2 going on a month since I sent my item back and I still haven't received a refund and I'm getting no answers and have no idea where my refund is. Most of the people I've talked to have horrible customer service and I'm getting beyond frustrated Because there a return policy Does not say it should take a month to get a refund and everybody I've talked to has said the same thing so I am still trying to figure out where my refund is.
As a prime member I expected delivery of my packages to come right to my door. Instead, most of the items I buy are shipped through the postal service. I live in a rural area and if the package won't fit in the mail box, it won't get delivered as the mail carrier drives from box to box along the road and does not come up to your door. A few days ago I ordered a two-pack of coin batteries. The pack could fit in the palm of your hand. It was sent in a box the size of my head and, for the third time in a month, I had to drive to the post office to pick up an order. This is convenience? How hard could it be to slip a small item into a padded envelope? No more orders from me unless I absolutely cannot find the item elsewhere.
Amazon is really outstanding. My wife orders absolutely everything online from Amazon and it is delivered to our door. I know they sometimes get a bad rap but I/we have used them many, many times and always have been satisfied with their service and products.
Since updating my card payment information with a new card, every purchase is first accepted and later I get an email saying the payment didn't go through. Each time I have to contact customer service and they say it's my bank/insufficient funds... Eventually Amazon fixes the error in their system and my payment goes through. Last time they argued and wouldn't check so nothing was done. I've since been blocked on the chat had to call in and speak to an annoying person that kept speaking over me saying okay and pretty much didn't do sh*t. She says my last transaction was approved but me on hold and repeated the same thing with a back handed tone. You could practically hear the eye roll. The payment will be rejected again and I'll go through over an hour off chatting with them until they update my payment information in their system.

I used to use amazon lockers on east Charleston and Sloan Las Vegas, NV,,, they no longer will except it, so they asked me for a new locker location. I picked this one, Nellis, and Vegas Valley Las Vegas, NV. They never delivered it to the locker as they said they did. They delivered it to the manager inside Albertsons, and the baggier guy was trying to rip my puma tennis shoes off saying Deveto doesn't work there witch he does hes the morning manager at the Albertsons! Amazon (princess) was trying to tell me there was no locker there either, but for some reason they give this locker, and address so.my brother made him(the baggier) find the package, and with in 5 minutes he found it. Pretty shady if you ask me!

I NEVER asked for this and apparently is something you can sign up for if you wish. After EIGHT (8) phone calls 3 supervisors who disconnected the call after a wait of 12 - 18 minutes on hold, I was finally given the excuse that if I sign on from a "new device that I will now get this EVERY time I try to sign in... hmmmm... I have been using the same 2 computers for 5-6 years to sign in and have NEVER had a problem.
I was told that it's for my "security"... ok... BUT I do not leave my credit card on file unless I am paying for an order, let it process, and then REMOVE my card #.
NOW My wife, who uses the SAME 2 DEVICES has signed in to her account WITHOUT a "OTP" so WHY CANT I? And WHY wont Amazon correct this? Who cares. Time to take my business else ware. One stop shopping is convenient, but they are NOT the only game in town and the aggravation isn't worth the hassle.
There customer service is unresponsive, gives "boiler plate" scripted responses and is essentially unhelpful.
Oh, I WAS a "Prime" member. Not anymore, and have actually CLOSED my account. I would rather shop at "WallyWorld" which is a nightmare in itself, than deal with Amazon.

The worst customer service ever. I am not sure where they pick these people to work for Amazon, but they need to look the clear opposite way. These people are rude and mean and will talk horrible to you and just hang up on you. Its unbelievable.
This is one of my favourite places where I can buy a power bank, clothes and things for the home. It is very comfortable in usage and saves my time for something else. I find buying at this place as the most comfortable for me.

We are a prime member. And only 50% of stuff gets delivered in 2 days. Most cases it's 3-5 days for shipping. No customer support. Everything is outsourced to India. Company SUCKS!

We ordered many items recently and unfortuantley when I login to check the date of arrival of the item, it says today by 8:00PM, and then in two hours it says tomorrow by 8:00PM
Also the shipping changed from UPS to USPS and I didn't even know about it until I called UPS to see if the item arrived our state.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
