I was always very happy with my Amazon purchases. It was a way to save a few dollars and have my big bags of cat food delivered to my 2nd floor apartment. I purchased 2 big bags of cat food and 1 40 lb. bag of litter and payed extra money to have it delivered in two days but it was three days late. No big deal I thought. The next month I ordered a little more than before and it took eight days before my order was prepared and given tracking numbers. I decided to submit two honest reviews about my recent purchases and Amazon's current customer service. I received an email from Amazon that stated my reviews wouldn't be published but with no explanation why. But of course the reason why was obvious to me. I won't be giving Amazon any more of my business.
Retailers need to find another way to house inventory because this fulfillment company is a joke. I'm sure they have a wonderful presentation about they can save you time, save space on inventory and provide customer service. Retailers bite sign the contract and things are off and running. Who's governing the KPIs of the contracts to ensure retailers are receiving what they sign up for. I'm sure if a retailer performed a survey and ask if their customers were satisfied with the Amazon experience the answer would be No! I would pull my product and negotiate a contract for delivery. I'm just saying there has to be a better option then Amazon taking over e commerce.
Note: I refuse to spend money and I have finally persuaded my husband.

Tired of being ripped off
A mafia of thiefs

Big, big business. Hard to believe that the most successful business in the world is a mail order business just done better than everyone else.
Amazon sent me a email saying I changed my email which I had not. So I called amazon and they shut down my account. Hacker got into my email and set filters so any email from amazon was sent to the hacker. Its been 3 weeks now and amazon cannot figure out how to open my account. Customer service people are nice but they cannot figure it out and when they say they are going to call you back they do not.
I was lazy and thought i would buy my baby a new pair of iplay swim diapers from here just so I could increase my order value to get free shipping. Massive mistake! I learnt the hard way as my baby popped when we were at the pool and it went all through the pool and was a nightmare. So embarrassing! I left her Will & Fox swim diapers at the pool last time we went to swimming lessons and they were obviously gone when I returned! Some lucky parent who found them scored big time!
I needed to order some cloth diapers so I went to this site and ordered them and thought I would save some money on shipping by purchasing a pair of i play swim diapers and it was the worst decision! I am going to get myself an Amazon prime account so I never have to worry about shipping again! Will & Fox have a Amazon store where they are about $9.00 a swim diaper. They also have an international website but its a couple of dollars more. I got a 2 pack for $18.00 and it will last us for years and actually be protective!
I am a Prime victim. Constant delivery failures. Nothing but misleading lies that it is out for delivery, when it is sitting on shelf somewhere. Company has no integrity or ethics, a true reflection of CEO. Two emails to him, nothing - no impact. I'm talking like 30 plus deliveries with issues. Paying for Prime is a real injustice to customers. Amazon wants your money first so they have no obligations to meet conditions you expect from Prime.
I literally order everything on amazon! It's so easy and delivers to my door in 2 days. I think I'm actually addicted to ordering from here because it's the easiest option. The only complaint I have is that someone sent me a gift and they did not include who it was from and when I called amazon customer service they would not tell me who the sender was which I thought was really bizarre. So I had to wait until someone finally told me they sent me that gift
I purchased a brand new hard drive, during the shipping process the item was replaced with a "renewed" drive. When I called them to resolve the issue, I was informed all they would do is place a credit on my account and I would have to purchase the drive again in full.
While I will admit that I have been one of Amazon's better customers, lately I am beginning to wonder why I'm so faithful to it.
First, the search function is nothing short of horrible. About half the time I have to stop and wonder what the he** the results have to do with my query.
Second, the "Prime" membership is being eroded away. At one time, whatever I ordered was delivered, in two days, no ifs, ands or, buts. Now however, it seems that as often as not, something will not be delivered when expected and sometime it is because the minimum order wasn't met.
Third, the pricing just doesn't seem to be very competitive these days. Recently I have been able to find better, often much better, prices elsewhere.
So, while I am sad to see this resource become a shadow of it's former self, it's the nature of things, right? Gambles, Sears, K-Mart, Woolworth, were all once in the same position and now are, either dead or, breathing their last.
I have been an Amazon Prime member for a very long time. Today I go in and see that they now require a $25 minimum order to ship free. Guess I wont be ordering from them anymore
I have been shopping at Amazon.com for 20 years and I am always amazed that almost anything I want is available.
My account was hacked in april and then again in August. I contacted amazon immediately each time as soon as I was aware of the activity. There was an address to another state under my preferred shipping that I've never seen before, orders under "archived" that I never ordered and charges on my credit card for those archived orders. To make this worse amazon froze my prime account notifying me via email. You can not reply to the email, you can not call customer service as this can only be addressed by a recon specialist. I have requested twice now for the recon specialist to contact me and have heard nothing from them. Apparently they can only email you, there is no phone number for this department. So I have been paying for amazon prime and prime video without access to my account for the better of 6 months. The movies I have purchased that are on amazon prime video and tv channels I subscribed to this year I also can not use! This is unreal and completely wrong.
I ordered an item from Fanletics through Amazon
Fanletics lists Chicago as their address This is also fake
I wanted to cancel this just hours after I placed the order NO reply
I have contacted Amazon.com with no resolution
They atebnot carefull enough in making sure they are not promoting fraud
The alterative is to contact the credit card company and the RCMP fraud division
I will NEVER buy through Amazon.com again They are complicite in this FRAUDB
This 2 step verification login each and every time is a pile of ***t. They can stuff that up their ****s. Each time I asked the rep for a resolution all they wanted to do is read me a list of "why's" then send me a to-do-list. I told them on the phone y'all can screw that, you're a waste of my time, and I hung up the call. They have no consumer confidence. If they have people always hacking into other accounts go ahead and change the freakin' platform - don't be bothering me with a ***n 2 step verification every time I turn around to go check on my ***n status of my order!
Like Tony below, Amazon won't let me sign in any more without mailing me a One Time Password verification, which I can't do because I can't get into the mail account associated. (And wouldn't on principle if I could.) I can't contact Amazon to complain because I can't log in. To make it worse they did this in the middle of a session - I'd already bought something off them two minutes before. So why am I suddenly suspect from one moment to the next? Like him I've used the same device or years so it isn't to do with that. Bunch of geniuses, they've lost a customer.
You can find almost anything. Super easy to set up account and find Prime products. Client almost 5 years
I love shopping online with Amazon. Amazon is very simple and easy to use. Amazon has tons of great products that you can always find on the site
I started a new chapter in my life and Amazon provides solutions to cover the hard part of it. I got my order right on time and it's such an experience.
I had a bulb that I needed to replaced and the attachment kept coming undone. I even used gorilla tape and a hose clamp to try and get the bulb to untwist and the attachment kept loosening from the pole.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
