You can get great deals on amazon, that's it. There's nothing else good about this site. If you have a computer with under 32gb of memory, and typical internet, this will be the slowest website EVER. It also really helps to use this site in case your social anxiety is that bad to where you can't even stand when the cashier says "Would you like a receipt?"

Apple Airpods
December 26, 2019

I purchased Apple Airpods on December 19th, 2019 in time for Christmas. I chose the 6 months payment plan. When i checked my account Amazon charged the full amount and also charged me the first-month increment on both the Apple Airpods and Apple Care. I contacted customer service and I spoke with 5 different representatives and none of them knew anything about increment payments. Finally, a supervisor called me from the United States and said she was sorry that happen but it was a mistake. I cancelled the order and had to get the Apple Airpods from another source. Amazon customer service is not trained a increment payments so save yourself the headache and don't try increment payments on Amazon.

I'm a broke single mom struggling to make ends meet. Today being Christmas Eve, the one day of the year single moms everywhere are down to their last dollar. Well I noticed my bank account negative $83. My account was at $0 due to Christmas. I go to check account activity. There were 2 separate charges dated December 23,2019 for Amazon Prime Video purchases I did not authorize, (One for $4.99 and one for 7.99, along with two overdraft penalty fees of $35/each) on a credit card I did not authorize to use, for this card is NOT set as my default payment. Why would I authorize payment on an account I knew had no money in it? So I can pay an overdraft fee for something that costs fraction of the price? I don't think so. I called Amazon to report it. I told them I did not authorize the purchases, nor did I authorize the use of this credit card, and that these charges resulted in two $35 overdraft fees. That this happened on their end not mine. They can't explain why it happened, putting blame on the "buy now 1-click" option and proceeded to tell me how to disable that option in the future. They quickly refunded the purchase amounts, but told me I'm on my own with the overdraft fees and there's nothing they can do. These charges were NEVER authorized... Yesterday Amazon deceitfully charged me separately for two movies, on the same day causing two separate overdraft fees on an account they were not authorized to charge. One of these movies was purchased weeks ago but only charged yesterday? Why is that? Told them my financial situation, and that these charges have put my account in the negative and I'm a single mom the day before Christmas. That they need to compensate me for this mistake they made. Talked to two different people both told me I'm on my own. Merry Christmas indeed. Amazon is making its way as one of the world's most valuable companies. Yet they refused to compensate me for the error they made, leaving a poor single mom with a negative bank account at Christmas. Thanks a lot Amazon. Is this what I get for the 5yrs I've been a loyal Amazon prime member?

Nice Solar Torch

I would have never found such a deal in store, like I did here on Amazon! I'm so happy, now I can enjoy the gorgeous weather and not have to worry about mosquitos! Plus these torches look really cool around my back patio and really create a relaxing vibe. I can sit out on my porch into the late night and just let the torches be the light and it's so fun to sit out and watch the fireflies dance across the backyard and just sit in the light of the torches

will never use Amazon again!
Amazon you screwed me for Christmas. Your driver was in my driveway and left without delivering. I called customer service and I was told that I would be refunded in 5 to 10 business days. What about my familys Christmas? The deliveries I'm supposed to get are for Christmas. And the fact that I can't get my money back for five days to ten business days to shop elsewhere is sickening. I will never use you again for anything. And I will tell everybody I know about this experience. I will continue to use eBay from here on out

Convenient

Can shop in the comfort of my own home. The convenience and quick shipping is a huge bonus. I marked it down one star because some high end items are sold as counterfeit and amazon has done little to reduce that practice. But overall I am happy with most purchases and items come quickly and packaged well.

Amazon is behaving like a crook, Amazon charges a huge amount to deliver an order to home but never delivers the order and Amazon insists the customers to raise a complaint against seller. I paid money to Amazon but Amazon is not taking any responsibility. There is no protection for customer money.
Why Amazon is taking delivery charges If we should fight with Amazon service provider.
I ordered a product (Order# **************106)in November to deliver to my home but I never received a product yet. But Amazon changed the order status to delivered.
Again Amazon seller people asking us to pay money to deliver to home.
What is the point to purchase a product in Amazon?
What is the point to pay delivery charges to Amazon when it's not delivered to home?

DO NOT SHOP AT AMAZON!. They charged $600 to restock a broken item they sent me. It is companies like this that is the problem with our society. They are heartless.

I'm giving Amazon.com's Prime service one star for the following reasons:
1) Deliveries are a nightmare. Even with very specific instructions about where our mailbox is, they can't seem to get it right. They have been ZERO for THREE with my last 3 orders. They refund my money, but it is still discouraging because you don't get what you order.
2) Content services (like Amazon Music and Video) deserves negative stars. Nearly every single Amazon produced movie or show contains the F-word. Even a cooking show had the F-word in it several times. Music is typically covers of popular songs, and if you want originals, they want you to even pay more money. (You're already paying $120 a year!) They also have commercials! It's a paid server, and you still get commercials.
3) While the free shipping may be worth it, and I'd give it 4 stars (which have have discounted my overall rating for the reasons above), it's not worth much if you don't get your order.

I do like their return policy. And they make it easy to find what you're shopping for, they have some very serious problems which need to be address with their shipping.

As to their content services: It would be nice if they unbundled it and offered a Prime membership without digital content. That said, you're really not getting much as far as content goes. You get more free from Pandora and various channels on a Roku device.

Bottom line: If you think free shipping will pay for itself, then go for Prime. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

Amazon.com your process is broken when it comes to customer service. I had a fraudulent purchase on my account detected by my credit card company. I alerted you to the fraud and you locked my account. I was told that your fraud department would review the activity and respond to me within 1-2 business days with a result. I have spent the last 3 weeks contacting Amazon Customer Service every Saturday. The answer is always the same. Your service team is nice but the only thing they can do is "escalate" the issue by filling out a form and again promissing someone will contact me in 1-2 business days. I am stuck in a broken process with no results. This has ultimately affected my business with Amazon as I have spent the entire Christmas season shopping on other websites for gifts. I had become lost as a regular Amazon user defaulting to Amazon for all my online purchases. This broken process has forced me to look elsewhere to purchase online. I made yet another attempt today to resolve the locked account and after spending another 25 minutes getting nowhere, I declined to have the agent submit yet another form with yet another promise of communication within 1-2 business days. I let the agent know I would be posting my experience on every online source I could find in hopes my message gets out and others become aware of this awful experience. The good news for the competition is that I'm still shopping.

I've been a member for many years. I've made a lot of purchases. Though not really a complaint but there are 2 areas I believe could use improvement.
1. No matter what your looking for there's simply too much stuff to sort through.
2. Shipping. If I order 10 items I prefer it all come at once, delivered to my door. Not a 1/2 dozen items straggling in while trying to be stuffed into boxes at a large apartment complex.

Beware of Amazon Subscriptions fraudulent practices. They signed me up and charged my credit card to Amazon music by picking up the word "yes" on Alexa when looking for music on YouTube. I asked customer service why it was so easy to accidentally sign me up and not so easy to cancel in the same manner.
The Agent said that's the way it was built and hung up.

Terrible customer service today... BOO Amazon! I purchased a fire stick and remote less than six months ago, you deemed it defective and can only offer a 10% discount on a new remote. It's a small item but the principle of it is huge to me! The customers helped build your empire, treat us right.
