After buying my Pur water filters on Amazon for over 10 years I've discovered that many or all of them were probably fake. The last set of filters I purchased was so different and unsatisfactory that I decided to contact Pur directly.
They confirmed that they were counterfeit.
This made me wonder what kind of Chinese poison and carcinogenic product I had been ingesting all these years!
I'm astounded that someone with Jeff Bezos' money would stoop so low to make a few dollars more, that he would poison his costumers.
A dead customer doesn't buy too many products on Amazon!
Seems to me a cleaver lawyer might look into a class action over this.
How many others have bought these filters on Amazon?

I placed an order with amazon fresh this morning and received several emails from them regarding my order with the last one stating, "my order was ready for pick-up and delivery". After receiving multiple text messages from them about my order and being able to add to it if needed, I received one telling me my order was on the way and due to be delivered shortly, that's now what happened. Instead of receiving what I paid for, I was sent a text message, "the driver is unable to deliver your order, it has been cancelled and your money refunded. No decent explanation was given for the cancellation except for "your order was not ready when the driver went to pick it up from the store" REALLY! I received an email this evening way before my nighttime delivery, (which I fail to understand, 2 delivery times available only at night), telling me my order was ready but the driver said differently. What I got was an I'm sorry and $10 to be used at another time. WHAT I NEEDED, were the groceries I purchased and the time back that I wasted placing an order with a company that is becoming more and more unreliable. I AM DONE WITH AMAZON!

Stole my money

I purchased something through a 3rd party seller but couldn't use the item so I returned it. I was told I was given a refund when they received the item which I also had proof of. The merchant claimed and proved that they refunded the money to Amazon. I called at least 10 times to find out where my refund was. No one was able to help me. No one knows where the money is. I have no item and lost $407! I can't believe Amazon doesn't know where my money is.

I was a Prime member for a long time, but in recent years their service has gone way down... so I cancelled my membership. Got sick of paying extra every month just so my packages could be scanned as "delivered" when they actually weren't delivered, making me have to deal with Amazon directly, each time, to resolve the situation.

And despite the "guaranteed" delivery date, Amazon would tell me to give it 2 more days to show up because sometimes "delivered" packages arrive late. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that contradict the very definition of "guaranteed" and "delivered"? Lol. Also, once an item is scanned as "delivered", there's no way of tracking it anymore... so, you're essentially on your own, and it becomes your word against theirs.

Even more upsetting--Amazon charges mail services (like UPS) a penalty fee if packages are delivered past the guaranteed date, so delivery people's supervisors tell them to just scan the items in the truck to avoid getting hit with that fee... which also puts lots of extra and unnecessary pressure on the delivery people. They're afraid of being docked their pay, so they scan packages days before they actually get delivered. Putting this kind of financial pressure on already hard-working people is not ok with me. All those bells and whistles Amazon offers comes at the expense of these overworked people. Not cool.

Update: Ever since I dropped my Prime membership and went back to choosing the free delivery option (the longest wait), my packages not only arrive on time every time, but half the time they even arrive earlier than expected.

Had an order placed tonight for delivery between 9 - 11 pm. Received an email saying it was packed and prepared for delivery.
Here comes midnight and the rep online said a technical glitch prevented the order from being assigned a driver. Rather than being able to call a driver back to pick up my order. The best he could do was a $10 credit and a redelivery f or tomorrow. Wow, I guess my kids lunches won't be packed since its way too late to reorder somewhere else or find a late night store open. Very very unreliable.

Cancelled orderd

I ordered the same product on 3 seperate occasions over the course of 2 weeks with the order cancelled all 3 times due to "out of stock". Typical bait and switch by sellers to offer a package deal they never sell in hopes you'll buy individually at a higher price. Amazon continues to allow these sellers on their site. Buyer beware

Tried to write a review for two of their Prime Original TV shows that were negative and not only did they find an excuse not to post it, they then BANNED me from ever posting another one. So basically you can't trust the reviews on here, which is a shame. They lure you in the first season and then drastically cut the budget next season as a bait and switch. Terrible way to produce TV shows.

Amazon will sell fake defective products at a low price like a scam on a untrusted online store. The customer service is always robots who are never good and the phone number for their line is a big lie. Do NOT shop online with stores like Amazon or any other online store that are scams that show fake promise. Shopping in store is safer and you get customer service from REAL people this time.

It is totally impossible to contact anyone at Amazon Customer service. Each site ie phone numbers are given but do not work. They don't accept e. Mail and the Chat line is a total farce. Each method is purposefully designed to frustrate your efforts and make you give up. Which works because they DON'T.

After all the years that I've spent thousands of dollars with this company, the treatment I received today is absolutely horrifying. I had to create a new account, because my Prime, through T-Mobile was messed up. Once I finally got it fixed, I ordered $631.81 worth of merchandise, and not only did they cancel my order, but they suspended my account as well smh. I can understand precautions, as it relates to the possibilities of fraud. But, for these companies, your mobile number, in so many ways, mimics your SSN, and we're talking about a Fortune 500 company, you mean to tell me, there's no system in place to cross reference accounts; regardless of the difference between emails and delivery addresses being used, while traveling. MY PHONE NUMBER has remained constant throughout the entire time. Never ever again will I allow anyone to get me crying mad, the way these reps did me today. I'm actually begging you to allow me to spend my money with you? I'm the idiot lol lls... But, I just didn't feel like sitting down and surfing the web all over again, with another merchant. But, seeing that the day is gone, and mind you, my order was placed EARLIER, without resolve, looks like I have no other choice. I just hate that I lost Prime Video, and to keep it, I doubt I find that same Mother's Day birthstone necklace elsewhere, but I can't force them to cross check their own obviously out dated system, to work with a loyal customer, opposed to being a tremendous hindrance. Nonetheless, I'm comfortable within, that I waited long enough, and for whatever reason, it just wasn't meant for me to spend with them, and I'm okay with that
