Second time in the last month that I order something, and the wrong item received. Gave 2 stars, because they did refund my money. But not sure if I want to continue to shop with them. Frustrating to order what you want, but keep receiving things you have no use for. My last order was for an edger blade, instead I received air filters for a John Deer. Not sure if a mower or tractor, don't have a John Deer.
Well, I order gym types of equipment from Amazon which I received in not good condition they get cracked while shipping maybe but after returning I didn't receive my refund amount after 25 days. Customer care team not replying properly on call.
May 29,2020:
As I am unable to shop in person and ship in person products to my children, I attempted to place orders on Amazon for the products I wanted.
I received order confirmations from Amazon shortly after placing the orders.
Few hours later, Amazon flagged my orders as fraudulent activities, cancelled the orders and informed me that I will receive credit for any charges placed on my bank card.
My bank card was charged for two transactions by Amazon/Marketplace.
I attempted to call Amazon customer support where a voice message informed me that Amazon is not answering incoming customer service calls.
June 1,2020:
My bank card was charged for a third transaction by Amazon/Marketplace.
I receive an email from Amazon stating my order which was cancelled by Amazon, was indeed shipped and I should get it on June 3,2020. I attempted to click the links in the message and the result shows no orders, no items to be shipped and no order tracking.
I finally found a chat link on Amazon's customer service and there was an option to have Amazon call me. I get the call, I provide the order number from the shipping confirmation email, I provided the three amounts I was charged by Amazon for the Amazon cancelled orders. I was informed that this issue is being forwarded to a customer service specialists to handle it as the order was locked by them. I was informed that I will get an email within 24 - 48 hours from the customer service specialist and that Amazon will investigate the issue and see if a refund is warranted which may take place within 3-4 business days after the specialist's review.
So in effect, it took Amazon less than 1 hour to botch my order, charge me for items that were cancelled, and I am being asked to wait what amounts to over 10 days from the order attempt date to get my money back.
Its high time businesses are treated as we customers are treated. Amazon gets all profits to hoard while consumers get the shaft.
After shopping with Amazon since its inception, this customer is leaving. During these times where more emphasis is being made on contactless business transactions, Amazon surely proved its in the stone age with business acumen focused on gobbling profits from customers and treating them as they are refuse.
Just a last update - filter arrived.
So just one last note that makes one shake their head.
Amazon e-mailed - "you'll be happy to know that your package has 'been' shipped and see your tracking number"
Yup item was shipped - 42 hours after the e-mail saying it had 'been' shipped!
What a joke...
Use Amazon at your own risk and know that they care squat about customer service...
Ok re the automotive air filter I order on May 8th 2020 that stated 5 in stock only to be informed back ordered and would be pretty much a month to get.
Well to make up for this "error" Amazon stated that when the back order was ready to ship that they would expedite its shipping. Well I got an email today saying it's been shipped and YUP they have been true to their word - NOT - sent Post 7-10 days shipping - how on earth did this guy that owns Amazon stay in business? I was told I would get the item overnight not a week to ten days. What a JOKE of a company...
Beware of Amazon listings! Ordered a simple air filter for a car - amazon claimed 5 in stock - that was May 8th and it still hasn't shipped as of today 11 days later. When first asked what's up they blamed c-19. Fine ok - but - that song only fits so long and 11 days is way past the time limit on it. Then I was told the parts is - yup - back ordered and thus the delay. Yet when I relook up the part on Amazon it show "Only 3 Left" and when I point this out to Amazon - oh well the web-site is wrong and should be fixed - but not fixed as of tonight. Now I am told it will be June 2nd before I get the filter that I paid for on May the 8th. A month to get something they said was 'In Stock'. On the lighter side this was my first order from Amazon just to give their service a try - what do you think my opinion is so far? I can just imagine what a hassle it would be to cancel and try to get the funds back on the credit card. Not worth the few bucks less - won't deal with again...
I used to think Amazon was great. Lately though is not impressed and i have recently some 5 items are ordered but I have received only 3 items and i have also check they have the cheek to not even give my money back on time. Really i am very disappointing for customer services. I must suggest and look forward for better services.
Amazon is always the best. However, be careful about buying from Chinese sellers from overseas. Those shipment usually arrives in poor condition after a very long while.
Amazon is Turing out to be a really bad company to purchase items. Customer service representatives have no idea what are doing. It takes so much time to get refunds. They mesh up transactions several times. Every time I have reached out to customer service I had to tell them the stories from beginning. During one session they randomly change representatives and I had to tell stories again
Are you buying a product of amazon please stop it. After this covid-19 quarantine i prefer to wanted some shopping from this and this could be the reason I have prime membership. If I purchased the product that was very bad so this is my worst experience and when I needed to return them they have come yet.
My wife and I have been Amazon Prime members for 10 years and enjoyed good service for many of those years! Unfortunately capitalistic greed has declined anything good this company had to offer! The company used to have excellent customer service and shipping practices. Now is the worst company to order from in the USA. Seems as though they're pushing products shipped directly from China. Two in the last month I ordered that I was unaware of that were shipped out of China! They do not explain in a listing that the product will be shipped from China! They expect you to look it up because they do not care about their customers anymore! They do not care about their employees as well, they don't care if they live or die with the covid-19 cases going on! Amazon simply doesn't care about life in America or American citizens! Applying contact in customer service they advised me that they were in the right because it was a third-party seller. But it is Amazon fault because they're not stating the product is coming from China! I am in awe that Amazon is doing this to their own country! No more no way am I going to support China in anyway after what has happened in the past 6 months with the covid-19 outbreak and how they treated our country. Amazon seems to be treating their employees and customers just as the Chinese communist government treats their citizens. Shame on you Amazon. You really SUCK!

I ordered an 8ft utility pole which extends to 20 ft to be delivered to my home. Some shipping genius decided that the post office could handle this delivery. Instead of receiving the item on Saturday, I received notice from the post office that they could not deliver and I would have to pick up item from the postal service on the following Tuesday! Not a happy customer.
Delivering time is ok but every time I order a book it comes damaged, just like receiving an old one product. You should wrap the books in bubble or protection before you ship books I have been having a problem almost every single time.

I love that they put customer first making sure we are satisfied throughout the whole process of our orders.

This is unbelievable. Bought a product went faulty, so sent back for a refund, it was bought on an old cancelled credit card, was told to just delete the old card of my account and will be refunded to a card on the amazon account.
Well i find out they sent the refund to a credit that doesnt exsist anymore, fair enough all make mistake, phone amazon, i was stunned at what they told me, told me to contact mastercard and sort it out myself, seriously wow, they refused to help me, phoned mastercard, they told me amazon wouldnt refund them and go to bank that did the transaction, mastercard told me amazon should never tell a customer to phone mastercard, amazon washing their hands of this and abanoned me to try find where the refund has gone, i will never shop at amazon again after over 10yrs of shopping with them, its just astonishing bad customer service, basically amazon said not our problem, now i have had to track down credit card company and explain the situation, they were stunned when told them, so have to wait a week or so to see if they can track down this refund

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
