Very bad
July 5, 2020

Customer service has gotten worse over time.
I have ordered products since April and now it's July; the products were not delivered and I'm going through hell to get my money back. They say I'm filing a-z claim over and over. I keep calling and chatting and the same thing. No money back and product on its way since April

I tried this service FIVE times. The first two times were good -- they packaged all the frozen/refrigerated items in silver insulated bags. Then their packaging changed! They only used doubled paper bags for frozen/refrigerated items. For the next three times, I had to throw away all the frozen/refrigerated items. I have called AmazonFresh each time to complain, but nothing is changing! I give up! I do NOT recommend this service.

I purchase a 3 person Jobe towable on Amazon. It arrived in good time. We used it with two people once. After 40 minutes of use, it deflated quite quickly. Back on dry land we examined and found that the inner tube was badly cut in the same shape as the webbing stitching inside the towable. Nearly a mirror cut pattern. We open a chain in Amazon. It automatically posts a response that your issue with be responded to in 7 days. After nine-days, I contacted Amazon through the live chat. That was 30 minutes of getting nowhere. I just gave up in the end. Really shocking customer service

I had an item that didn't show up although marked as delivered. They did a 7 day investigation. All they did was ask the driver and although there was a picture of my order at a different place. They are charging me for it anyway. Told me to call the police to have a report done so have to call the police on Amazon

I've had generally good experiences with Amazon. Their company practices when it comes to workers' rights, working conditions, and workers' compensation, are all abysmal, but the modern world is based on consumerism, and Amazon makes consuming easier than it has ever been. I'll continue using Amazon just like most others will.

I received an alert on my phone that two packages had been delivered. I live in a 12-story apartment building with no mailroom, just a public place where the mailboxes are. There was no knock at my door but I opened to check for the packages - none! Three hours later, a tenant knocked on my door with my packages. He said they were just laying in the lobby (unattended) along with other packages. He was delivering them because he would have wanted someone to do the same for him (my hero!). This is not the first time an Amazon driver has done this to me and other tenants. UPS, FedEx, and USPS all bring packages to my door with no problem. I don't know what kind of drivers Amazon hires that they just leave packages unattended out in the open! I wish there was a way to register my complaint with Amazon.

Fake reviews
June 27, 2020

Every time I attempt to post the real experience I have had it is blocked. They are refusing to post true reviews about the quality of a product. It's infuriating to write an honest review just to see it is denied. Don't trust the reviews on amazon.

Do not use amazon
June 25, 2020

I bought some liquid eyeliner from Amazon. Not only did it not show up, they lied to me about it coming. So everyone knows, I talked to Jennifer D in leadership and she treated me like a child. She acted like 10 dollars was the last money in the world. Please pass this on.

Dog ate it
June 25, 2020

Amazon delivery driver left my package in the driveway. It contained beef jerky and was eaten by a local dog. The app said the package was handed to the resident. So I guess they lie also. Will not be ordering anything from Amazon as long as they hire people like this. Unbelievably poor customer service.

Every time you purchase a durable consumer item on Amazon (sandals, foot massagers, etc) within 24 hours you receive an e-mail from amazon asking you to buy more of the same based on your (most recent) purchase history.
For a leading tech firm it is quite bemusing to see how very primary the algorithm must be that it generates a mail asking you to buy that which you just did and probably received within the previous 24 hours, which you have barely used and which surely has not worn out to need replacement.
A recent order gave a different experience.
After the purchase of a rain jacket, and within 24 hours amazon sent a mail proposing a similar item (similar functionality and is $17 less expensive).
Curiously, this item was not proposed during the search that led to the purchase even after setting the filter to rank products from low price to high price.
An attempt to cancel the order received an e-mail response immediately saying it was too late and the only option was to return the item and purchase the lower priced one.
Two questions about the technology:
1. Why was the less expensive item not proposed during the original search?
2. Why was the lower priced item proposed in the immediate aftermath of placing the order?
It may be better to search, place an order and cancel it to await a lower priced proposal before finally concluding the transaction.
In engaging a chat session with customer service at amazon, this problem got escalated three levels before the person hid behind bureaucracy and rules instead of customer satisfaction. Amazon knows it is less expensive for them to make a gesture and credit the card or the account with the full or partial difference in the two prices. But bureaucracy rules and prefers to incur a bigger material cost by asking to return and re-purchase with zero explanation to the customer or satisfaction for the customer. Every start up reaches the point where they get so big that they resort to bureaucracy.

Can't do their job
June 25, 2020

This is the second time I've order something and Amazon
S final update is "sorry your item didn't show up, we must have lost it" My order # Order #**************420 for reference. Amazon losing packages is like life guard not knowing how to swim. The only good part was that Amazon was honest enough to let me know they can't do their job.

This whole pandemic
June 25, 2020

This whole pandemic has delayed prime shipments by up to 3 days. I understand, it's reasonable, but I complained to the customer service and they can't do anything but apologize. Fix your logistics! I pay $150 a year I expect fast shipping, where is the logistics contingency for worldwide pandemics?

I ordered a product on Amazon and what was delivered by a third party seller was not what I ordered. After I ordered the product it took almost 3 weeks to get it and during that time all third party reviews said that seller was a fraud yet Amazon would do nothing about this and when the product was late refused to refund me as they claimed they have a process. That process includes allowing fake products to be sold and do nothing about it as that may hurt their profits.

So, I have been an Amazon prime member for a few months, I have ordered about 8 times from them in those months. However their drivers do not understand how to follow delivery instructions. Now I have had a package vandalized and they took half. I'm at my wit's end with Amazon and their over seas call centers. I will be canceling my prime membership. Their escalation process is the round file FYI. I ask that packages be left on a chair pushed into a table and they leave it by my front door.

Worst customer service of all time, there is no one at this trillion dollar company that can help a very active prime member fix a mistake that happened when my personal credit card was compromised and I was the victim of fraud. They have locked my account and are absolutely impossible to deal with. No one in customer "non-service" can understand what the issue really is and Amazon.com apparently has no way to service the account so that I can right the error and move on with my life. HORRIBLE COMPANY, BAD SERVICE!

I have a problem with a returned Item. Two items in one return package, one was marked received and the other is shown as not received. Amazon says they will charge me for the second item. Cannot get help from Amazon as Customer Service Won't Answer Phone, just says GOOD BYE.

Have also noticed a lot of price gouging. Don't take Amazon's price as the best price. Shop Walmart, Costco, etc and price is usually lower. Best Buy for electronics and they meet or beat Amazon. The only reason I keep my membership now is Prime TV.

A slow sad decline of a once great company and beware the Amazon Marketplace!

I am very disappointed that you are selling... BLUE LIVES MURDER SHIRTS!
That is so disgusting and disrespectful to Police Officers! I am an Amazon Prime member and I have many family & friends that are also Amazon Prime Members! I will make sure that they all pull their memberships and we will ALL take our business somewhere else! If I were you, I would think very hard about selling those and degrading Police Officers like that!
