I had ordered my son birthday present for his second birthday and when it was shipped it was delivered by Amazon and left in the woods next to my drive way and the driver put on his scanner that it was on the front porch. He/She even took a picture of it propped up next to a tree in the woods. We finally found the package three days after his birthday and the box was unrecognizable after being in the pouring rain for almost a week. I called and complained really did not do any good they just apologized and told me thank you for shopping with Amazon.
Amazon no longer has an e-mail address available for their customer service. They try and make people call or use their live chat, which takes way more time and is far less helpful. When I used the live chat and asked for an e-mail address, they gave me one that didn't work.
I don't always have time or the ability to call or get on some ridiculous chat. I need to be able to send a short e-mail about my issue and come back to it later when I have the time.
Beyond this, I've had several issues with refunds on broken items, a few items that never shipped, and all along customer service was the biggest headache. Simply trying to get ahold of them.
When I do have time to call, then stand around and wait on hold, and after I FINALLY get to talk to a real person... most of the time they can't even understand me and I can hardly understand them. It's extremely frustrating and has driven me away from shopping on Amazon almost entirely.
Went to Mariano's to buy a gift card from amazon to buy something off the site. When I put the code in, it says already been used. I called Amazon and of course someone who didn't understand me picked up. They told me I needed to go back to the store I got the card from. I did and the store said they couldn't help me. Called amazon again and they told me the same thing. So I will never buy from amazon again. They are thieves and this is not the first time I heard them taking peoples money.
I usually order some stuff on Amazon like shoes, iPhone cases and parts for my Civic and the only thing I'd like to say - they're really good for me, because I'm always satisfied with the shipping and the things I order.
They didn't delivered
Claims they did and stole $100 from me on CERB/Unemployed. They have horrible/atrocious/unreliable delivery practices and they take no ownership or commitment for their customers. Amazon is a disgraceful, incompetent, unprofessional example of what we get this days.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMAZON.
I order items from Amazon Prime, trusting that they are being truthful as to the delivery date. Lately however, that trust has been broken. In the last month and a half Amazon has used USPS to deliver a few of my orders. Unfortunately those orders were not delivered as promised. Two of the items were needed to complete orders for my customers. Today USPS determined that had "No access to my location," But Amazon includes delivery instructions on the label, which in my case is our gate code. Why any company would use USPS to deliver orders when they can not be trusted to do so on time and without asking their customer if that is acceptable is beyond me. When I asked Amazon customer service how to avoid my orders from being delivered by USPS, I was told "that is not possible." I consider this totally unacceptable. Amazon Prime delivery trucks are in our gated community every day, several times a day and my last order was a "sponsored" Prime item. Very bad way to do business.
Bought many items from Amazon in past, probably won't in future. Never received a product, filed complaint. Amazon said they would respond in 7 days; they never did. I tried to leave a review to warn other buyers, but Amazon sent me an email stating I could only review the actual product (since I never received it, that's impossible). Guess Bezos needed my $20.
Update: Packages delivered to wrong condo about half the time.
Ordered a paint sprayer I needed next day. Paid next day. When I check order says 5 days. Call customer service all they can do is give me Amazon credit.
The worst experience. The just locked my account without knowing why! And i can't open my account to study because i ordered a book with kindle by amazon and i have final exam tomorrow!
Thanks! For sure im not going to buy anything from amazon anymore
Simple and easy Great Website. Amazing Very amazing! I'm so happy when i'm use this aplication. Great work and Great Team Thanku Amazon
I love amzn and we order everything if we could through here - clothes, food, furniture, bath stuff, laundry stuff, kitchen etc. It's worth the prime membership because you do get extras. I always get my items to me fast. There are some sellers which are just plain nasty so you gotta be careful what you buy, read all the reviews. We purchased a neck pillow only to get a used one. It was possibly the worst item to receive. We called and amzn fixed it asap.
I have been a loyal prime member for a decade now, but am receiving the worst customer service from Amazon.
I had fraud on my account and have been trying proactively to solve it for nearly 3 weeks now. You have major gaps in your customer service and the way you handle fraudulent charges. I was notified I had fraud on my account and my Amazon account was promptly shut down. I could not verify or deny the charges since I am locked out of all aspects of my account. Because I order a lot of items from Amazon I had no idea what was fraudulent and what was not. It took me over 2 weeks and 9 phone calls to customer service, to just get a comprehensive list of ordered items that I could verify. But alas, my account is still closed.
I replied to every email, requesting the last 2 of a credit card, but news flash - my card was compromised. I do not seem to have another active card associated with this account. Therefore I cannot give the last 2 digits of my credit card, I have tried. All I get is automated emails and no one to help me resolve the issue.
Your customer service sent order numbers, without associated items, so all customers have to dig through emails to figure out what items they are. Then there are other emails with no item stated that just request the last 2 of a credit card. While I will happily pay for my charges, I am not just going to give my credit card without any item(s) specifications for Amazon to charge how they please. Especially when there was supposedly fraud on my account! I cannot seem to verify my identity with a new credit card and am caught in a endless loop of customer service agents who can't solve the issue and emails requesting credit card information (last 2 digits) that is not linked to my account.
This is such terrible customer service to a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars at Amazon. I have been hung up while being transferred, told totally different information by the same agents answering Amazon's phone, but each agent told me they can't do anything and to wait for an email.
My 2 Amazon Alexas are closed down, 3 Amazon kids tablets, and of course ordering. I have now spent hours on the phone trying to resolve and pay for items I ordered. It's totally and completely ridiculous and needless.
You need to take a close look at how you are treating "valued" customers, because it is beyond frustrating and deplorable.
Amazon takes away any excuse not to protect others and yourself! I was able to procure enough for me and my family and friends.
To say Amazon is a lifesaver is an understatement during this crises!
Amazon sell products without and ingredents, cup4cup flour I order 25 pounds and when I got it it has milk in it. I can't eat any dairy, If they would list ingredents this woudn't have happen. Trying to return it, you can't go through amazon, you have to contact the 3rd party seller and deal with them. When I tried to post this on amazon website, they wrote to me and told me they wouldn't post my review. So I am posting here and anywhere else I can find to worn people about amazon
I ordered headphones recently and the product I received was damaged. I called them and Amazon took action immediately to replace the product. Such a great customer service. So happy.
I baught was 2 times just and a week later that never shipped and I called and they said they were out of stock I asked why they would let me buy a item that wasn't even available! A manger told me that I was $#*! out of luck and nothing he could do. Then 2 other people straight lied to me about the order and in the end I get $#*!ed... Iv spent so much lonely on here and then get treated like that. Those emu should be fired. Never In my life have I had such a bad customer service. What a joke I'll never buy anything on here again
I've bought from Amazon for years. Most of my experience is good. However, I've notice that any review pertaining to my shipping experience or damaged items aren't being posted on their site. The email claims "the review wasn't in their policy guidline". Which isn't true at all. There's no profanity, no direspect towards the company, or any of the sort. They want you to go to a seperate section to discuss any shipping problems. Yet, when I do, I can't access it. All of my positive reviews are quickly published, but my negative reviews aren't. Consumers should know what type of companies they are dealing with and if they're getting a value for their hard earned money. Playing pick and choose between reviews isn't fair to consumers. It's my honest opinion, about bad shipping, damaged goods, poor quality materials, etc. I mean, that's what they ask for, so why play hide and seek. Truth is truth, rather good or bad. My last order, one of my items was broken into pieces. Don't know if it was from packing or shipping, but it was broke. Customer service was great, in helping me get my money back quickly. But, Amazon wouldn't post my review at all. Facts are facts...
I agree with the other reviews on how Amazon has handled a crisis. The products I ordered haven't arrived. Prices have SKYROCKETED. I get "supply and demand" and Amazon's ethics are poor at best. Those poor warehouse workers. I will remember this when this crisis is over. Your Prime Videos still suck as well.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
