I've had 2 orders go wrong w/ Amazon. One regarding clothes & the second on a book.
On the clothes order, the shirts I ordered where not true to size & vendor would not reimburse payment if I returned them. I was returning the order w/ in a week of receiving these items.
On the second order of the book, I order in mid-March & by July still had not received the order. I called to ask for reimbursement & was told they needed to call vendor & would return my call. That never happened. I called again after a couple of weeks & they refunded my money after holding it for over 90 days. I was charged interest on my card for those days & should be treated fairly. Bad business.
I have heard of online shopping sites selling fake products, some people telling me not to purchase as I'll result in losing my hardly earned coins, have them a deaf ear. Amazon is genuine. Even though, the delivery till a little bit long as I come from Kenya, I understand the logistics.

My happiness was immeasurable when I found out that I was able to shop on Amazon Fresh and receive my order in a timely manner... until I found myself sitting in my living room at 1:00 AM wondering where my groceries were. I checked my phone and heard nothing, not even a courtesy notification. I decided to check the app, expecting to see that it was rescheduled - not what I wanted, but that would've been fine - nope. I find that not only were my items marked unavailable, I was prompted to add the items to my cart and try again only to find out that most of my order was suddenly out of stock.
"Out of stock"? Come on now, you really expect me to believe that you wouldn't prioritize those with cash over those on EBT? You ran around and sold the last of your stock to folks with a credit card added and decided to give me the finger. I certainly hope the cash was worth it because you'll never see a cent from me again on Amazon Fresh or otherwise.
In summary: if you're looking for a reliable delivery service, look elsewhere. It is blatantly evident that Amazon Fresh would throw you to the wolves whenever it gets the chance.
My wife and I have been using Amazon Fresh because there's a large Covid-19 outbreak in our area. We have been ordering several times a week in the past month or so. Wearing a mask is mandatory in our city. When we order we asked for no contact. On several occasions we have been given orders by people that are not wearing masks to protect us. We have complained about this, and we have continued to recieve orders from their employees who are not wearing masks. We are going to find other alternatives to recieve our online orders. I would not order from Amazon fresh if you are trying to avoid Covid-19. They do not enforce their employees to protect others from covid-19.
Usually like their service but don't approve of the very expensive 3rd party sales. They should have a filter so we don't have to see them if we don't want to.
Jeff Bezos has done a good job of creating a company full of damaged, cheap crap mostly from China. The customer service is better than the products and most of the time it's trash too. It hasn't always been so bad but now you're lucky to get something on time, in great condition that looks like it's original photo and description. And if it needs a return good luck getting a full refund or any return without first spending over an hour on chat or phone with robots and comatose reps. Even the "leadership team" wouldn't know a leader if it kicked them in the butt. Used to use it occasionally but after a move where a digital piano, turntable stand and dresser arrived missing pieces or broken, and a sofa never arrived after two and a half months, I am just... done. Hasty la vista baby!
Carafe is four months old. Started leaking at the seam. States 1 year replacement warranty. Amazon will not honor the warranty, nor will the seller. Dark spots, circled in red, are coffee stains from leak. So wish I could give amazon "0" stars today. I still have not received my amazon order that states delivered 2 weeks ago. Tracking number is an address that isn't mine nor I never provided. Spoke to customer service and they stated I still had to wait for a refund and was transferred to a "supervisor" in customer service. That supervisor stated he would not give me a refund and I would have to continue to wait. I asked for a copy of amazon's refund policy which he did finally provide and I have attached above in photos. Their policy states you are eligible for refund if delivery confirmation was provided and you had not received your package. I am sad to say I was not refunded and instead the "supervisor" goes on to hang up the phone on me. Amazon is not following their own policy on refunding and their own supervisor had such disregard for their own customers to hang up on them. Very sad to see amazon with such low standards in customer service. We are encouraged to stay home and utilize home delivery services during this worldwide pandemic and this is the service we are provided. Very bad Amazon!

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
