Amazon.com claims to have all these safety measures in place. I stopped at the 7/11 today, 3 Amazon drivers came in, NO MASKS which are required in the City of Nashua. When I asked the cashier about it, she said almost none of them wear masks in the store. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME Amazon.
I love ordering from Amazon. This we as a family can live much more independently in a rural setting instead of being dependent on large shopping infrastructure nearby. Saves us time shopping too and we have way more choice. We order from them about 2-3 times a week.

In case where we send back heavy product of 40 kg spending 1600 rs, and don't get refund for product and courior charges. Just because their seller is not responding, and even seller has confirmed that he has received product.
Well I have no words to describe how badly I am disappointed with Amazon, I will think hundred times to think before buying from Amazon.
I bought gym equipments, and I was not happy with product, so I requested for return and did not get response from Amazon for 10 days, then I contacted so they said I need to ship product myself( which is of 40 kg weight) and I will get refund for courior charges too.
I sent product back, got email from Amazon too that refund will be processed soon after it got delivered on 30 july to seller.
Since then I am contacting customer service and getting time frame of 2 days 3 days and again same.
Last time I contacted an agent so he promised me of 1 week anyhow. And refund will be processed.
Again one more agent when I called said 2 days maximum. Again and again.

The ratings are false - most are overwhelmingly positive. I've ordered from them for years, and the situation has gotten worse and worse as more second and third party sellers sell on their site. Among other things, they sell short-dated and outdated foods and medicines, some of which aren't tested or safe. (I got a bad rash that necessitated a doctor's visit and required several medications because of a 'natural' deodorant that contained an herb known to cause rashes.)
In the case of a makeup mirror with a blue light I was bombarded with e-mails for several months from the overseas manufacturer offering me money to remove my negative review. They went up to $50.00 for an item that cost less than $20.00. Since then I've noticed fewer and fewer less than 5 stars reviews. It is obvious in most cases there were lower than 5 stars, but those reviews were removed. Roughly a week ago I tried to give a less than 5-star review to a pair of stretch sneakers very difficult to get on I wanted to warn other seniors about, but my review was blocked multiple times. It never appeared.
Bottom line: Take everything with a grain of salt, and don't believe the pictures, descriptions, or review ratings. Plus their customer service is a nightmare. Customers are treated much better if they are Prime members, but that costs around $130.00 a year now. And though that status helps with missing shipments, it is no guarantee of 'truth in advertising."
My wife and I have been prime members for many years and have ordered 100's of products from Amazon. Never a bad experience. Products delivered promptly, and issues are quickly resolved. Their prices are very fair, and their customer service is excellent. Usually they are the best price, but occasionally another online company might be lower. Unless the difference is significant, we buy from Amazon because we trust them. Considering the number of difficulties I've had with other online companies, such as Newegg, I encourage you to shop with Amazon.
AMAZON.IN: Product is out for delivery, no calls, no one came, got a message saying delivery attempted but customer unavailable. Delivery guys no. Doesn't work. Reached out to customer care. They have no contact details of the delivery guy, nor they can connect you to him on conference call. It was worth 7.5k. Have seen reviews where delivery guys are even updating as order delivered and ppl are not even getting the products. Now im worried about losing my 7.5k and not getting the products also. Surprisingly amazon is not taking any strict action towards these type of delivery guys. So basically these delivery guys are updating these "delivery attempted" or "order delivered" and selling these products to local shops. At the end customer is suffering, getting frustrated running after customer care to get the product or the refund. Never order anything if you love your hard earned money. This is the 3rd time its happened to me
They have made customer service their last priority. Please don't expect delivery times to be accurate and then don't expect to be able to contact customer service unless you jump through some awkward and unpublished hoops. For the future of humanity and the internet, if your item is offered somewhere else for a similar price, buy it from somewhere else.
I placed an order on Wednesday for our 6 year old's birthday that was promised to be delivered on Friday 8/21/20 by 9:00 PM. I soon got an email stating that the delivery was delayed. I called customer service and the girl stated that she spoke with the logistics team and they stated that it was on a truck and would still be delivered by 9:00 PM. Well 9:00 PM passed and still no delivery. I called back and was advised that the items have not arrived at the destination to be delivered. I then request to speak with a supervisor and spoke with Albert who assured me that they would check into it and provide a call back. After ten I then sent an email because I had not heard anything. Instead of having a call back as promised by a MANAGER, I got an email back stating it finally arrived at the destination for it to be delivered. The MANAGER did not even have the decency to call back as promised. I want to thank AMAZON for ruining our 6 year old daughter's birthday. You can take your money quickly but yet you do nothing good for your loyal customer's. Understand if it was not for your CUSTOMERS you would not get paid nor have a job. Again THANK YOU FOR MAKING A SPECIAL DAY NOT SO SPECIAL!
I been using Amazon for a few years and if there was a problem, they would fixed it very promptly and professionally, the last star I didn't give is lack of selections and some fake products sended to me before but they 100% give me a refund.
Great service, great support, love their movies. I hope they will have more free one day shipping for prime members.

I ordered two sealy pillows from Amazon on August 7th, didn't expect to get royally screwed thought. I could have ordered them from JCPENNY for less money but they were only willing to ship on August 15th and, given my Prime membership (which is a completely useless word now, including the videos, that are just as useless to me) the pillows were supposed to arrive on August 10th from Amazon, so I decided to forgo the possibility of saving $40 and placed my order.
On August 13th, still haven't received the pillows, I called Amazon to find out why the shipment status said "ups is ready to accept the package". It took three more days and three more phone calls and chats to find out that the pillow were lost in transit. The way amazon "corrected" this issue is by filling out form and requesting a refund for me, which I still didn't get. I got a runaround every step of the way and at no point did they even attempt to try and fix the problem by shipping pillows from elsewhere, even though they have them, they're on their website, available for purchase.
Their Lasership service loses and damages my packages, their cuefomed service takes weeks to process exchanges and refunds.
I would also like to mention that their chat-based customer service is completely useless, they're rude, inattentive and completely and utterly incompetent. I've bend shopping with Amazon for well-over a decade but, based on the mishaps that occurred this and past year, I am now forced to re-think my shopping strategy and find a new retail outlet.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
