After several miserable attempts at buying from amazon and paying for Prime I give up. Each time there is another excuse about why packages aren't delivered. Today was a classic one, " The driver stated the package would not fit in your mail box" Really? What amazon box will fit in a USPS regulated size of mail box. I spoke to customer service who assured me that I would have orders on delivery date. I am expecting 5 boxes and leave for a month at 4am. They sent all 5 packages on 5 different trucks with different drivers, first one at 8:08am ( my luggage) said they couldn't deliver since it would not fit in the mail box and I could pick it up on Tuesday. The other 4 they would not refund until we found out if they would deliver today or not. When calling USPS can't get through, Amazon called them but stated we could not go meet them it would only be available on Tuesday. My refund will take at least a week as I made the mistake of thinking they would get it right this time when the last 4 orders from Amazon either never were delivered or delivered weeks later. I will no longer use Amazon for my personal or business. I am sure it is USPS that is causing their issues but perhaps they should go back to a reputable delivery like they used to before deciding they didn't want to pay for shipping at all through UPS and Fedex and USPS gave them free shipping while collecting from the government and the customer while amazon pays nothing. FRAUD so deep it will never be uncovered!
Please don't avail there services they are big time fraud they cheat people by charging extra money at delivery time which they never mention at time of order

My account was hacked and someone was using my email account and writing terrible reviews under my name, I spoke to both departments because I now am not able to leave reviews and all reviews I have left have been removed. They said they would have their "Team" look into this and solve this issue for me! That's funny, what I did get was several emails telling me about their "guidelines" for reviews and fraudulent activity.And 1 very insulting email almost implying that my claims are false!
I have since canceled my prime membership and will find an alternative company to order from. They are just getting to Big for there Pants!

If I use another browser I can't log in, which is not a major issue but from time to time, it does not accept my password and I have to go through a nightmare with the IT support and until one of those engineers get on the phone and work with me, we can't get this resolved, which is not a big deal.
But, I was trying to get a book for the kindle and it wouldn't download, so I called Amazon and nowadays, like any other company, they get people from abroad and they like to talk and instead of asking what device you have, you are forced to hear a list of devices that you may have. You know how it goes, it is designed to drive people insane and give up the call.So you listen to pages and pages before you can voice your request, then you are transferred, which is not a big deal, just annoying... as usual, amazon asked for reset of password, which I did, and of course, it. Goes to your email, then it said that they need to make sure it was me and that another link was sent to the same email they just sent a link to change the password, okay I clicked "authorize" and was asked to log in again, then it said that an email had been send to me to make sure it was me and I needed to authorize it...
So. This went on for over close to one hour and finally the lady said he was going to ask for help... and came back and asked me to clear the history... I know how Amazon is and I knew it probably had nothing to do with history, but I agreed and after all that time spent... with the transfer and all, far over one hour... so I did clear the history and my purchase of the book was gone.
I have been a retail store manager for over 20 years, and the most difficult situation's that can sometimes arise are with returns.
I recently was by looking for a personal desktop type evaporative air conditioning unit for my office space. I went through and read all the reviews offered of the top 10. Figure I would pick from 1-3 depending on price, and it was off season so some I might find on sale.
I found that most were on sale as close-out models. Except for #1@ $55. More money than I wanted to spend on my desktop.
Anyway I started with #2 model out of top 10 and ended going through 4. Before I found just one that actually would not leak.
Amazon Has no problem just taking them back one at a time as I would try them out no problem with customer service issues. All you had to do was give them a short explanation to why you return them. And then you could take them to your local Kohl's store in my area, Without even happen to put it in a box make a label or absolutely anything. Just take it to Kohl's they label it scan it everything send it back worry free. As soon Kohl's scans the product for return you get a refund back onto your card, Or how you purchased the merchandise.
Amazon I believe has the most outstanding customer service relations in returns policy better than even Walmart has you don't have to stand in line all you have to have is hit the button and take it to Kohl's or your local UPS store and you get a refund as soon as they scan it. I would definitely recommend Amazon as a place to shop online.
Ok so i got amazon prime just for the free shipping. I mean it's nice to order items and have them shipped for free and within 2 days. I cancelled after a few months bevause i did not order enough for it to benefit me. Also not everything is amazon prime so i was still paying for shipping on some items. Never used the streaming service as i already have netflix and cable. So the monthly 13 dollars was for me not worth it. I can see why it would be for some prople
Amazon is the best for online shopping. Service is quick and fast. Once ordered delivery is too quick. The quality of all products is excellent and worth the money. Prices are also affordable. Recommended to all friends and family.
Unless you have a later model cell phone with a bar code scanner, Don't order Items from Amazon to be delivered to Amazon pick-up terminals.
Amazon doesn't inform after a purchase that the above is required until you have waited for the delivery & are emailed that the ordered item is waiting for pick-up that a cell phone with scanner capabilities is needed to open storage locker
No more! The food is not fresh. There has been mold on several items bread has been smashed frozen food melted! Do not use

Whenever i want to watch something funny, horror, mystery or even romantic my first choice is to go on amazon prime. They have lots of options to choose from. There monthly subscription is also chip compare to Netflix and all.
I was a customer over 10 years, I spent a lot of money, had many problems. Amazon has a customer service that is just so horrible. They do not care about the customers. I will never shop here again. I shop walmart.com if I have to, but at least Walmart can solve a problem. Really make a point stop buying from company's like this.
Amazon used to have exceptional customer service, but since this "pandemic" it appears they got super busy and have taken on a slew of new CSR's who they've thrown in the deep end without much training. I had a situation where a parcel had a "delivered" status, but I never received it. I went on their chat to get some help resolving the issue. I asked for a replacement. Well, long story short, It turned into a nightmare. Two days and 7 CSR's later, I was fortunate enough to come across a real gem of a CSR who resolved my issue in a few minutes. That never would have happened a few months to a year ago! Hope they get their act together again.
As per my previous review, I've had a few bumps along the road in the early days with Amazon. However after ordering frequently for over 2 years now, I can honestly say that either these issues have been resolved, or I'm always compensated in some way for any inconvenience.
Their prices may not always be the best, their customer service is top notch. You know that you're 100% protected from "not as advertised", "defective", "simply not happy with the item/s ordered" or even "late or no delivery". The CSR's are friendly and the company really values customer satisfaction. Their selection is staggering too. Like other large online vendors, they're struggling with fake reviews but they acknowledge it and are working towards resolving this issue... IF it can ever be completely resolved, seeing as the fraudsters always find a "workaround". Unfortunately, It's a never ending Cat and Mouse game.
I buy from Amazon a lot. Often they will have better prices than most retailers. Delivery is relatively fast and packaging is good. However, there are a couple of things that have irritated me lately. They are as follows:
1. There are OFTEN price drops for an item JUST AFTER you purchase it. They will not offer a price guarantee, no matter how loyal a customer you are. I think it's a really PETTY and MISERLY business practice, especially in view of how much they make off loyal customers like me.
2. I am a "subscribe and save" member. Amazon will often "drop" an item (or more) from your list because it has become "unavailable" for one reason or another. I put in a lot of time and effort in product research to put together the perfect monthly shopping list of items that suit my needs. They are also "supposed" to be secured with discounted pricing, provided you have at least 5 items on the list. That means I'm scrambling around again to find another item to add to the list to get my discount. Considering that there is not a large selection of products that qualify for "subscribe and save" in the first place, this becomes VERY frustrating! Basically, their "subscribe and save" service is VERY unreliable. So what's the point of even having it?
Great service. Easily delivered. It's been used almost every day. It saves me so much time to shop online and receive the items within a few days. Super experience.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
