I was initiated in Amazon in their "books only" days and appreciated all the books. Then they started selling all other items. The initial experience was exceptional for the first few years. Then deterioration began. In the last few years I seriously questioned that my loyalty might be misplaced. In the last year the customer experience just seemed to get worse and worse, now I'm at the point of looking at walmart.ca first, local stores second (only because I live in rural areas and going to any brick and mortar stores is a half-day drive), and Amazon last...

A few days ago, I was looking for a cat tree for my kittens, on the check out page, it showed that the delivery was only 3 days away. I placed the order, as soon as it shipped, the delivery date got pushed to 7 days... I consider this deceptive. Chatting to online agents (3 of them) of course yielded no results and call back from the phone (3) agents were a complete waste of time (all 3 had "connection issues" and one appeared to have child care issues as a poor infant was crying with ear piercing force, overpowering the speaking voice of the mother). Now I'm done with Amazon.ca.

I made it known many times to the Amazon office, that if you are delivering to my home, ALWAYS PRESS THE DAM BUZZER or KNOCK. That's put right down on their screen for their delivery instructions. Their people are too stupid to learn how to read, so they DROP THE PACKAGE ON THE EDGE OF THE TOP STEP, and skuddle away like the little termites that they are! In the meantime, people are getting their paid goods ripped off on a daily basis, and Amazon couldn't give a $#*!. What type of an organization does this? Secondly, many of their items don't tell you when they will be sent out until days after you have purchased the product. The management at Amazon are brain dead. They don't care about anything except that bi weekly check that they don't deserve coming in. I hope this company folds!

They have religiously delivered my packages to the wrong address; now after having my tires slashed I placed a rather expensive order for prime day sales in which they lost. It was a signature required order and they delivered it to the wrong house. They won't issue my refund until I waste police resources and have "an officer investigate where the package is". Absolutely ridiculous that you make a mistake and then refuse to help when it's a $200 order of cameras and equipment. I've cancelled my prime membership and removed the app; I'm done with Amazon.

Delivered package to the wrong address. Courier provided a photo of my package in front of a door somewhere in my (large) apartment building (conveniently shooting the photo beneath where it displays my unit number on my door). When I open my apartment door (not one minute after receiving the delivery notification) - no package. Contacted support immediately who apparently had no way of contacting the Amazon courier who was currently in my building and preferred to refund me (3-5 business days) and have me re-order the same items (1-2 days). They would prefer to cover the cost of my whole order and make me wait 9 days total to receive the items than just give the courier a 10-second call while he's literally in my building.

I bought a tv May 20 2023, have waited over a month still not shipped. Have ordred 3 times different tv,s still no email when it would ship. Phoned customer service over 6 times were supposed to follow up never did. Will never buy a tv from them again

Ordered about $1200 worth of stuff returned 3 items now have to wait almost a month to get the refund. Horrible service. They are admitting they have the products I returned and are telling me I need to be patient.

Purchased delivered on wrong place. Give me only $10credit on the 2nd wrong delivery location and then issuing refund when Inwas charged on my credit card. They are hiring courier delivery who is giving away other people's order. So frustrating!

Customer service is the worst. All they do is copy and paste answers for you concerns. I swear it's not even a real person we are talking to.
I had a resent refund of 700. Because Amazon sent me the wrong package and I have to wait 30 days for refund. Can you believe this $#*!.

Worst experience, placed an order more than 2 weeks back and still it says pending delivery date. Wehn called customer service they want me to cancel it and reorder with an increased price or wait but they don't know when it will be available.
Basically, they want to charge higher. Shame on Amazon.ca

Ordered two ps plus cards and they cancelled my account making me reset my password, stuck in camp with no data but only wifi, have no wifi calling to accept texts for the 6 digit confirmation code. Why not have an actual person to chat too online instead of having 4 generic questions that do not assist anyone in this position.

Tracking

Amazon needs to revise their tracking system. I never obtain accurate tracking info. I have ordered two items from Amazon and both say "left carrier facility" two to three days ago but no update since. This happens far too often and I don't seem to get my packages at all lately. Amazon has really dropped the ball.

I have made many hundreds of orders and I'm not impressed how I'm promised a refund and it isn't in my account or my credit card, no refund! Also get run around from sellers and amazon both are rude to top it off!
Some products are complete junk and some knock offs.look for products in brick and mortar stores and cheaper too that way!

I tried to call today as my items were not delivered and I got items that are not mine, the girls put me on waiting then they hang up
I could not believe that I pay membership for prime and they keep increasing their memberships then you get this level of customer service

I have been an Amazon customer for at least 13 years now. In fact I've been a prime member since they started offering it to students for free at the very beginning. This used to be the ultimate online shopping experience. Serious, real customer reviews, guaranteed delivery dates, good customer service, and accountability when they mess up. These days? The site is jam packed with thousands of fake reviews for generic Chinese products, and their Prime Two day and One day shipping methods offered are wishful thinking, as, while they usually follow through, they have plenty of loopholes to not deliver on time without any accountability - It's now happened to me more than a few times. Getting past their bot-wall to reach a real customer service agent is a hurdle. Once you get ahold of a human, it boils down to one of two answers: 1) Sorry, something happened, and we'll get your item to you as soon as possible! But no idea when soon really is - Or 2) Well, sorry, we can't really fulfil this delivery so we'll just go ahead and cancel the order. Sure you get your money back, but the time waiting for stuff you probably needed, and could have bought faster somewhere else is not coming back. Considering by the point I have reached out they are already at least more than 4 days late on their original estimate, and that the shipping time on the "tracking" keeps shifting, they have long known they won't be fulfilling the order anywhere near on time - I get it, stuff happens, but instead of giving you a real explanation and a new honest delivery timeframe, they just let it hang until the customer is pissed enough to ask what's happening, and worse yet, they have the gall to continue promoting as "one-day shipping" an item they are fully aware they cannot realistically deliver in less than a week. Put simply, today, the only things separating Amazon from Ali Express are the prices (Ali is way cheaper), the prime membership (Which Ali doesn't do) and the geographical advantage of Amazon (the only point in it's favor at this point. Otherwise? The merchandise they sell is like 70% the same, it's pricier in Amazon and the reviews are equally fake. Amazon has seriously gone to the crapper. BTW, their streaming service offers 0 added value, as their shows are garbage - I spend 0 time on there. I wish they'd stop spending their budget on trying to be Netflix's underachieving cousin and instead spent those resourses bringing their core service back to the high standards of old. I'll happily keep paying prime for the same amount with no streaming at the same amount if they just fix their damned online shopping experience... you know, the actual raison d'ĂȘtre of the company.

After being an Amazon customer for years and having no complaints, I hate to say that is no longer the case. I am having problems connecting my Echo to the Internet. After going through four or five total programmed techs who can only follow their script, over and over again. I get a hold of a so-called supervisor who promptly puts me on hold for ten minutes and then hangs up on me. This did not happen once but FOUR times. So I must believe that it is their way of getting rid of you when they can't fix the problem. To me,
It would be easier to just explain to the customer that they don't know the answer and will try and find it or tell you it can't be done. Not hang up on you and hope you don't get them again. The worse customer service I have ever delt with!

I have spend $4000 on Amazon this month. I'm person with multiple disabilities, and Orders came wrong 3 times, orders that curriers lost or were "unable" to deliver. The latest, Order # **************827 Hrithink had all the information and is lying, the Order # **************827 never came in, i tried to contact the Amazon on Chat, Bot did not let me. Said wait until May 4, because some times the system says "delivered" while is on the way. Hrithink said he issued refund. Now on email it say we disconnected he does not have the facts.
