The website was able to guide me to the product that I wanted. The delivery was made quickly into my doorstep and worked as promised. I called tech-support to ask one question which they immediately answered and I was up and running.
The whole ordering experience was great from time to proper delivery care of units. The quality of the units are made excellent I would strongly recommend this brand to anyone I have delt with many different brands throughout my professional career and they are on top.
Bought two units, split air, one unit, the circuit board fuse fault, solder in? Wow, make it to where can be push in fuse, they wanna sell me a $ NEW circuit board, heck, they dont even sell the fuse to solder in
This about the company. Please when dealing with this company. Please have a paper trail. And have a credit card that will fight for you. They provided me with alist of contractor that susposed to do the work but noone on their list didnt want to do the work cause it wasnt their product.so i called them back they sent me another list. Ok but it the same freaky list you had send b4.so i called back 3rd time.iy came back empty. So i called the warehouse to stop it from coming to my house. Now they want me to pay shipment fee.not happening. You say you was to sent ne a contractor it never happened. You said my product reach my home and if i open it im responsibile for it. But it never reach my home and your contractor was just a list you got off the internet. Im still fighting. Im not responsible for no shipments cost
Line sets are sent out ‘pre-flared'- flares are terrible. Pressure specs in manual are inaccurate- says check with nitrogen to 250 but after your $#*! blows on heating mode & you call in, tech tells you that he pressure checks to 500 psi. Also, missing codes in the code key in the manual. That's 3 strikes. Just want their piece of crap off my property now but they gaslight me & act like I'm the problem. This company needs to be held accountable. I will be contacting BBB. I have the hyper heat, 2 zone 18,000 btu mini split
Bought a 12k DIY mini split. Suppose to come fully charged, no need for Ac tech. Wasn't cooling well finally after hours on phone I had to pay $400 to properly charge system. Can't even get customer service to return phone calls. Been misled and out right lied to from start. Don't believe anything they say.
Ordered 2 air conditioner filters. Website said in stock. Received a "we received your order" email. Waited 3 weeks, giving the COVID times, no contact. Called customer service gave an order # then found my order but didn't know what happened. Sent me to products department, no one answered. Hung up. Next day call from products department. Stated out of stock and no plans to get any more. Asked what happened he said "I don't know someone dropped the ball. I'm just helping out by making this call". Nothing I can do. I asked to please refund my money next week not in 3 weeks. Really no one has any idea. Give me a break!
First thing BTU's are a lie and outside unit is not rated for the 4 zones total BTU's. The installation book is WRONG in at least 5 places, the Condescending jerk on phone is no help but he did tell me to ignore the book. The Heat NEVER WORKS more than an hour then unit is covered in Ice because the defrost mode can't be fixed (tried 2 companies to fix it). The remote controls work 50% of time and I need to press button 3 times to turn it on or off. Nothing is their fault, it is always the installation but I have had 2 different companies work on it 4 times in 2 years. It doesn't cool very well and my home has R38 Insulation in walls and roof, way more than most homes.
The only good thing is Price it was very Cheap (made in China) and it is also very Quiet.
I did not submit photos or proof of sale because I wasn't ready, I TRIED to Copy Paste email from them but could not attach to this site. ( and I may need parts), I was actually looking for a Good one to Buy when saw their add and left the review. Maybe I can do that part latter.
I have bought from Alpine for several years and have found their Professional ism and knowledge of the products they sell to be no less than amazing. I have been an HVAC contractor for the last 45 years and have dealt with a lot of manufacturers and distributors and all of their products are what I would expect to see at the best supply houses. Most problems I'm reading about are due to poor shipping methods and rough handling. This is heavy equipment And usually requires 2 men to lift off a truck if you don't pay for lift truck service.
Three warranty efforts failed. Then, I was told it's out of warranty. Thermostat defect never fixed.

Had mini split 10 months got around $6,000 dollars in total in it been waiting over 3 months for a part I'm not sure they can even get. Had to do most of winter freezing because of it now summer about here.
Ordered an air conditioner via phone on March 15th. My credit card was charged (over $3,000) and they told me it would be delivered within five business days. On Friday the 19th, I called to get an update on the shipping status. I was told the unit was backordered and would not arrive until sometime in May! I asked, "When were you going to tell me that?" and he said they should have told me when I called to order it, because it was on backorder then! Now waiting on refund. I can't go for two months in FL without air conditioning! Very poor customer service.
I ordered a new furnace for my rental. The woman I dealt with was thorough, asked good questions, but was not helpful because I did not "talk their lingo". I called back and gave her the details of my existing system and wiring. She spec'd out a unit for my needs, it arrived and I installed it in less than 4 hours. But it didn't work. After reading the instructions, I realized the one she sold me did not match my wiring. I called back on Monday and spoke with technical support, they told me I needed an adaptor for the wiring. They didn't care that the salesperson sold me the wrong unit. Sent me to sales, the guy knew nothing about the part, and wanted a part number for it. I asked to talk to a supervisor, who told me she would look into it. A day later I got a voice mail that it was available from the manufacturer, and should have it in a couple weeks, and I would have to pay for it.
Meanwhile the temps here in Oregon were reaching 25 degrees at night.
I found it online and had it here the next day, a $20 part readily available from multiple suppliers.
Also, they will not warranty anything that doesn't work unless you pay a licensed contractor to evaluate and confirm the problem.
Just Shop locally. Don't use this business or shipping service.
They will overcharge you for return shipping and the shippers they FORCE you to use (R&L carriers) are meth head incompetents with 2 teeth in their mouth.
From a Missouri to Mississippi return they charged me 200 dollars for a 600 dollar product, AND THE KICKER IS IT WAS MISREPRESENTED AND ADVERTISED AS SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT.
JUST SHOP LOCALLY or with a business that isn't trying to scrape up every dime at the cost of customer service..
They intice you to purchase equipment and then will set you up with a contractor after the sale but then when no contractor will warranty or willingly install the equipment. You are unable to return the equipment or are forced to lose money with restocking fees and shipping costs. Very bad business model and company does not treat its employees with respect from what I have seen.
Month later still waiting for my unit. Never again here. Will keep you posted as when you will get it.
Don't believe this site. Alpine Home Products provides ‘Zero Support' after the sale. Bought two furnaces, one okay the other noisy as heck. Have asked multiple times for support but have been ignored, blown off.
They have a guy named Andrew who sends you sweet notes before the sale. However, it's BS. Buyer beware...
Don't trust there word for nothing. The have my money and didn't fill it completely. Then the sales tech refused to fill it unless I repurchase it.
I bought 9 units and only 2 units work. Each has a different Error code and i as never able to fix them. I've called customer service on different occasions who of course want me to have a professional fix them. Even with an AC company calling, we weren't able to fix them. These units work for a few and then brake down. I live in Vegas and these units are not for here. I don't recommend this company or this brand.
Ordered a $950 Goodman furnace through Alpine web page, when i got the product delivered by its carrier I noticed hours later it had severe concealed damaged on one of the sides, either a damage from factory or through shipping. I notified Alpine and they told me to complain through the carrier, the carrier told me Alpine should file the claim and they denied me any remediation, Alpine told me again for like 5 times I should file the claim and 20 other reasons I WAS GUILTY for the product damaged although i got it broken from the beginning and not even signed the shipper acceptance guide. Only when i filed a claim through Paypal is that they accepted to initiate a return and later refund. I lost 2 weeks of my time without a working furnace, i dont recommend Alpine to anyone.
Answer: They're legit. Like most minisplit vendors, their units are either rebadged Midea or rebadged Gree (depending on the product line). Customer service good, units work with no issues.
