This is the third time I searched for a better price and found it with Allivet. They can't seem to be beat. Quick delivery with my other order of Revaluation. Very happy with this company.
I called Allivet on Thursday, my veterinarian authorized the prescription the same day. I was NOT advised that ALLIVET DOESN'T SHIP ANYTHING ON A FRIDAY! WOULD HAVE ORDERED FROM ANOTHER SOURCE IF I WAS ADVISED. Really needed this asap. I'm literally 50 min away from their location. Bad business!
I ordered vaccines & syringes last Monday. Prescription for syringes was approved by my vet on on Tuesday. Was told order would ship within 24-48 hours after vet approval. I have called EVERY DAY and been told the SAME story. On Friday, I was told Allivet doesn't ship vaccines/cold package for Saturday delivery. I just got off another 30 minute phone call (mostly on hold) to be told it will go out TOMORROW, 8 days after order, 7 days after vet approval, they have "expedited" the order?!?
It seems like a lower budget website but the customer service is good and the prices are great as well. Shipping can cost more than the meds but they actually have the whole selection I need for my cat who has many health issues. Id rather pay to keep everything on one website so its somewhat organized.
What a great deal! I have had a hard time finding this in stock? Waliworld you have to take your fish to the vet to get this. Not here! We are shipping this to you ASAP. I placed an order on July 30,2020 for boxes of flea/heartworm medicine. One of their "Pharmacy techs" called o on Aug. 2nd and left a message that the vet declined it because of the pet name. I called them back on Aug. 3rd to find out what the problem was, the "customer service rep" had an accent so thick I could not understand her, they sent in a prescription in our cat's name! I kept getting emails stating, waiting on vet authorization, I called the vet, the vet stated they have REPEATEDLY sent the request back authorizing them to fill them. I called Allivet back on Aug. 7th, I was hung up on 2 times when i asked for someone WITHOUT AN ACCENT, one rep. Would not take me off speaker and was clanking metal in the background. I hung up and spoke with one of their "supervisor" Gabriel, explained the situtation, he said he would take care of it.
Almost 2 weeks have gone by, I have REPEATEDLY called their customer service, the vet has called and still no pet meds. I finally cancelled the order.
I will never order from them again, I'll go to Chewy or 1800PETMEDS.
Allivet never was this bad, customer service was great and all the reps spoke ENGLISH WITHOUT AN ACCENT! I guess the CEO wanted CHEAP FOREIGN WORKERS!
They have great prices- one time or auto-ship available and they contact the vet! It saves all your pet's info (name, age, breed) to make reordering simple.
One of my dog's medications is on autoship. He is getting close to the end of his life and he needs a pain medication every day for his comfort. Even though it is an ongoing prescription Allivet contacts my vet every month for the renewal. That would be fine if the Allivet system worked. I received texts that said Allivet had contacted my vet four times and never received the reauthorization. My vet office has proof that they did respond more than once and immediately. I called Allivet and the rep could only say basically, oh well, the order has been shipped now (three day delay). It has been a week and the medication is still not here. I called Allivet again and feel that I received the same basic attitude, oh well. The rep today said that it is probably the post office issue since things could be slowed down by covid-19 delays. First, they blame my vet then the post office.
This is not free shipping either the shipping cost was another 6.95 on top of the medication.
The medication is more expensive from the vet office and that is a consideration but I might cut back something else in the budget to make it work. The peace of mind that my dog won't have to go without his medication while I wait on Allivet to figure out how to process their own autoship order could be worth it.
If you need something and you need it timely, check your order status and call, call, call to make sure the order is really getting done.

I bought trifexis that my dog couldn't take. I asked for a refund 7 days ago and still haven't seen it called back and they said they would forward another email because they didn't get the last one. Now she said it would be 10 more days... Terrible customer service
Ordered early to not run out of my dogs eye meds. Waited 7 days. Never came. Called, sent again. Tracking said never sent out. Called again. They said they would reship. Waited and waited. All in all, if your pet needs the meds, go elsewhere. Waited 3 weeks for 4 shipments. Never got one. Still waiting for my money. Went elsewhere for the meds. Super messed up. Lies and lies and no customer service.
Good products, just way too expensive. I won't be able to continue to use this company if the prices stay this high.

This company did not fill the order of Nexgard that I placed 2 months ago. My dog is 22lb and I put in for a 3 month supply of the 10lb-24lb for 59.99. They emailed me today that the "6 month supply of the 24-60lb" is on the way to my house for &116.00 + tax! This is NOT what I ordered and it too expensive. I don't want the product at all from Allivet.
I will no longer recommend Allivet.com to my clients. For the 6th time, I have called in/emailed a prescription. They will call me back to tell me the client does not have an account. Why do they not contact the client directly. All the information is given to them. They will also inform my clients that they have call me for verification and Ring Central shows no documented incoming calls from Allivet.com. The script literally states 2 tubes and the Rep told me that it was not documented on the script. The software requests that in order to generate.
Far better than Pet Meds I will use them again. Ordering was simple and direct no extra steps such as needing to add a picture of the pet.
I always have to call in and explain the system will not allow me to sign as a returning customer. It will read... this email is already in the system. Duh! I am trying to use FORGOT password as a way to get my order. So I call in and your rep give me a 5 digit number!... repeat, repeat, order after order. Also. Stop putting my orders on AUTO... this must be a company practice.
I was just about our of Vetmedin for my little girl and every other pharmacy was back ordered. Allivet had it in stock for a very good price and free shipping!
I have 2 pets that need monthly medications. Not only does Allivet offer me the best price, but they make it quick and easy to place my order.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
