Alibris was wonderful dealing with the many difficulties of working through the acknowledged worst Post Office inthe USA. The P.O. Eventually lost my first package and it was necessary to reorder and try again. Aiibris kept up with all the transitions, informing me of each. They were a joy to work with.

The shipping is higher than the books. The books are less than anywhere else that you can find them and are normally in very good condition. The book Twelve Ordinary Men was described as being in very good condition, but it wasn't. It had an extreme amount of writing and highlighting throughout.
Alibris has always been my go-to used book seller, with lots of good experiences. During the past year, there has been confusion about my address and a number of books have gotten lost. Some were forwarded to a non-functioning address.

I have always been happy with my purchases from Alibris. This is my biggest order to date; all but one title arrived within a week! One title turned out to be unavailable from the bookseller (most of the books in my order are out-of-print), but Alibris alerted me to this fact in a timely fashion.

It was easy to search for and through the variety of books/movies Alibris has for sale in that subject and choose which is best for me. I am glad that for most books there is a summary of the book's contents provided so I can make an informed choice. I also really rely on the listed condition of the book/item ( New, very good, good, fine-like new, acceptable, or something meaning it is useable). I check where the item is coming from (as listed) so I can guesstimate its proposed arrival time, and check the rating others have listed as the reliability of the company's response. Also I appreciate when items are offered that are being sold from non-profit like groups such as girls or boys homes because I like to support them. These qualities are all very important to me as I buy on line from Alibris. I appreciate these features on your site!

My book took longer to arrive than I expected, and I wasn't able to track it which was nerve-wracking since it was a textbook. However, it arrived, not overly late, in great shape at a great price.
