This was the first time I rented a car from the airport and it couldn't have been any easier. The car rental was very easy to find and the process was quick. I chose the "you click, we pick" option. Maybe it was luck but I was pleasantly surprised to have been driving off in a brand new vehicle. I filled out all the forms online, and my car was waiting with the keys already in it when I arrived. Even the drop off process was quick and easy. So overall, I paid a great price for a nice vehicle and I will definitely rent from the Alamo again the next time I am in town.

Beware…Alamo will try to dupe you. I received a rental car with a damaged side mirror. I told the agent/employee about the damage when I did a walk around before taking custody of the car. The employee never did the walk around with me but just stood there. I told him there was damage to the drivers side -side mirror. He told me to let the person at the gate know and they would note it. I let the man at the gate know about the mirror and pointed it out. He said he would take care of it. Now Alamo is trying to charge me for the damage. It was very dark out and hard to get a good picture. Took another picture of the mirror first light. Not cool…. I advised the employee /agent of the damage. Not sure why it was not noted before unless an employee damage the side mirror and did not tell anyone and pass the blame to the customer. No matter what happened to the mirror. One thing I do know I did not cause the damage! It was there when I got the car and i reported to 2 employees before even leaving the Alamo parking lot.

Long wait in line to see the single clerk at Alamo/National kiosk. Cars reserved were in short supply, resulting in lengthy conversations between customers and this one clerk. Manager of several kiosks frequently appeared but addressed no customers, instead had a "Meeting" of staff (deflecting the single clerk from serving customers) and at no time acknowledged the customer lined up for cars. Car itself was OK and returning the car was quick and efficient.

Customer service was much better than with other car rental agencies. Check in and out was easy. Car was in good shape. Would definitely rent from them again at Reagan National.

Charged for gas at end, even though filled up and left receipt inside.( Proof with my credit card available.)
Was told I would not be charged as courtesy when first got car. But filled it up anyway. Then was charged afterwards. Very disgusted.

They double charged me for the vehicle! So now I am waiting for "upper " management to call me back! Ugh what a nightmare!

Price is good, but need to be aware that office is not ran by Alamo personal late at night and might need to wait long before getting a car.

No issues at all. Did the check in ahead of picking up vehicle and bypassed the counter. Quick pick up and drop off as well. Lastly got the vehicle as advertised.

Alamo is awesome! Their employees are helpful, kind, and always professional. We had a funeral pop up while we were on our vacation and Alamo was so easy to help us! I loved them before… but now I won't use anything else!

We reserved a car with another rental company. When we got to the airport there were at least 20 people ahead of us and one agent handling rentals for three companies.
I made a quick online reservation on line and we had a car and were on our way in less than 5 minutes. The agent was helpful and friendly.
