Where do I start? Let's just say that I called AHS on July 3 to report that my wash machine was not working. Today is July 26 and still no washing machine. I'm a renter and at the mercy of this awful company that my landlord chose to avoid the responsibility of setting up service calls and maintaining his property. I've had two different service technicians look at the washer. The first one looked inside and took pictures. The second one actually did something. Now they tell me a washer has to be ordered from the manufacturer and will take another seven to ten days. All this on top of waiting on hold 20 minutes each time I call in to this awful company. I could have ordered online from Home Depot and had it delivered and installed three weeks ago. But, because I'm a renter and have to use the company the landlord set up, I'm still waiting! The second technician was great-from Longlane Home Services. He's the only person who actually had some answers and so far, has done anything.
It take for ever to reach their customer service, anytime and every time you call them for a service request. Very frustrating, better stay away from them.
Please stay away from this company, they will make any excuse to avoid fixing, repairing or replacing whatever goes wrong in your home. The only time you can easily reach them is when you are going to buy the policy, after that you will have to spend hours and hours on hold trying to reach somebody. Every time you talk to a representative about the same issue they dont seem to have a clue of what is going on. After two months of waiting I still have my A/C broke, during summer! They dont care. I finally decided to cancel and they charged me a termination fee, which was never mentioned. The worse company ever, stay away.
I am currently experiencing the same horrible service with American Home Shield as Kim Green. I have an asthmatic child and this is my 4th time dealing with my AC within 1 month period. The vendor (Fleming's AC Repair) only have one field tech to cover Lewisville, Little Elm and Frisco area. They react with little to no concern of the heat index (Dallas, TX) the customer is living through... HORRIBLE SERVICE!
I requested service on my tub 9*/9/20/15 and I dont have it repaired as of yet I am told they are ordering a part for it now how long does it take forJ &K plumging to get a part.

Contractor contacted me the next morning, came out that day, ordered the part and installed it the next day.

The Tech was EXTREMELY professional and he was very thorough. He explained his repair and encouraged me to call if I had any problems with repair. Did his job, cleaned up after himself and completed job expediently. I have had AHS for more than 10 years and every service has proven to be great.
The repair men were prompt and courteous. They were able to replace the broken part and repair what needed to be repaired all in one short visit. My garage door was fixed in under an hour.
The service man was very thorough in his inspection of the unit and finding what the problem was. He explanation of the problem was very clear and understanding.
