Scam company. No words. Plain scam and they wont even return the money you paid even if the CS already knew that the owner is non-existing. Worst experience and we'll never ever book here again.

I have booked through agoda 2 times once in Kolkata and once in Goa, both the times hotel denied check-in, but the best part is they are not liable for anything and I must tell you I have never had a worse experience than dealing with Agoda

Their customer care number is never reachable,
Emails are not replied, they don't have a service team, their tie-ups with hotels are not good, hotels don't value them, they don't even have good tieups they do it with partners and so if you book throughthem your check-ins might be denied,
I rather book expensive on other apps than booking on this,

In total for two bookings i have around 8000 stuck with them which they won't refund,

I am stuck, first time faced a fraud like this,

Now tomorrow is my check-in
Will have to book something else.

Don't ever book with agoda in INDIA.

I booked a free cancellation policy hotel with Moxy Amsterdam airport hotel on 20th June 2023 which I cancelled after just 30min. Agoda.com charged my card $550.74 which they say would be refunded back into my account. Unfortunately nothing. Cant get them on phone or email to respond. Terrible service.

Their website doesn't work properly, so even if they offer free cancellation as an option for free, and you select it, that doesn't mean it will actually be in your final booking!
The customer support is a complete joke, no one reads the previous emails and they just respond with generic responses.
Which means 7+ emails later, nothing is resolved.
Price matching is non excitant, they will do everything they can to avoid price matching.
I've made a mistake not researching them before making the booking, I thought google showed only reputable companies in their hotel search - clearly not a mistake I will repeat.
So to anyone who actually had a second to research agoda and finds this, stay away from them.
I've got emails to backup all of my claims.

Giving fake information and fake pictures of hotel and accepting booking. Had done booking in fab hotel Destiny balewadi thru agoda of myself and daughter including Breakfast after reaching hotel they said received only one booking excluding breakfast. NEITHER FAB HOTEL NOR AGODA customer care listen and helped us. I had to pay extra for my daughter in fab hotel as I will not get refund if I cancel.AGODA had cheated us by taking full amount by giving false information and FAB hotel is also responsible as they are having tie up with Agoda.Fab hotel should ask Agoda why they are giving false information Don't do booking from this website and hotel. Really poor service. Got charged hidden extras at the hotel. Avoid at sll costs. Not to be repeated ever

You think you booked a hotel from agoda... think again! The hotel doesn't know anything! You better take a tent with you.

I reached out to the CEO of Agoda in Linkedin by posting a reply to one of his posts as I am not getting any help from their customer service after they made a mistake with my booking. My message was decent and professional. He viewed my profile, deleted my reply and did nothing. I called him out and he blocked me. I paid in full 3 months ago for a booking in a resort in Seychelles to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We called the hotel and Agoda booked the wrong room, they booked a room which is half the size and cheaper than what we paid for and confirmed by them. They won't fix the mistake and instead offered a $450 compensation. So I reached out to him. Now I know why their service culture is terrible as it stems from his behavior. It could have been an excellent opportunity for him to show his team proper service recovery. Instead, he showed his lack of respect for customers.

I recently booked a hotel through Agoda.
The hotel was rundown, marks on walls, smashed windows and dreadful stains on the carpet. However, the worst was yet to come.
One of the beds was riddled with bedbugs. We had initially thought it was black bits of fluff, but then may daughter realised they were moving. We they discovered more and more.
We left as soon as we could. On asking for a refund, I was told to contact Agoda who would issue a refund.
Having wasted over 2hrs of phone calls, both the hotel and Agoda refused a full refund. Agoda showed no empathy and refused to refund or compensate the trip. I am disgusted with their appalling customer service.
I would never book THROUGH Agoda again.

After the Hard Rock casino un Tulsa gave us a giant headache and nightmare experience, we left the property and were told by the manager that we would get a refund for the night. Two months later- Agoda has not returned this money they received back from the hotel. Refunds or customer service merely do not exist in Agoda. Spend the extra money booking direct or through a more reputable website - Agoda is a scam.

This booking was an absolute nightmare. I place my reservation And was asked what time I would be arriving. I selected 4:56 AM drove the hotel only to find I cannot checking for 7 hours later. So naturally I wanted to cancel due to the screw up. And did not want to wait 7:00 after driving for 12 street before I was able to get some sleep. I was told 1230 days before I receive my refund. This all happened In 1 hour time frame. Then I was told I would be charged a fee for the cancellation. Moral of the story don't ever use this booking App and check all your other ones. You get lied to and it cost you money. This is the way they make their money by ripping you off.

This is one of the most inefficient service providers I've come across. They host hotels that aren't hygienic or safe and when it comes to cancelation and refund policies, the system is rigged to ensure that the customer pays through his nose. I suggest anyone wanting to use Agoda - avoid booking through Agoda as much as possible. They care very little if you lose your money or get holed up in some property that is unsafe and unhygienic. There's no way you're going to recover the amount you've spent. Customer service is terrible.

Fraud company. I have booked hotel from their site and paid in advance and when I reached the hotel manager asked me to pay extra and I had to pay because it was midnight and I was travelling with my family. Now when I raised the complaint these morons are asking for proof and even when I provided the same they are saying the hotel manager denied any additional charges and now these people are trusting that liar when I have the transaction proof so you can understand what type of company this must be. I'm done with them. I lost my money but I'll make sure they lose their costumers too.

I had booked a hotel a month in advance and done the payment. 2 days before the travel date I call the hotel to confirm the booking status as I was travelling with a baby. I was told we're sold out on those dates. Then I called Agoda customer support, he tells me it's not agoda's fault, it is the hotels fault. If I have booked via Agoda, they are answerable. Such pathetic attitude. No one cared to call and inform me the booking is cancelled. Thank god I was saved from the horror of reaching there and being told no rooms available. But all my planning from one month, leaves from office, all in vain. Never had such an experience with MMT

AGODA is the most untrustworthy company I have Ever dealt with. I booked a three night stay then decided that I wanted to stay a fourth night.The hotel said Agoda could not extend the stay so I paid for the 4th night myself; however Agoda still charged me also.They promised for a whole month of correspondence that I would receive on my initial charge card after insisting I give them bank information. They finally agreed to returning 2 refunds to my credit card but then did a reversal after a month of emails and phone calls. They did not refund my money.They are thieves

I am just giving my experience in this hotel. Initially I got one room which has no bucket, door lock was not working and extremely bad smell and den they changed the room. There we had worst experience in bathroom. They again asked us to change the room. The technician came and checked the tap and asked us to change another room. I will never come to this hotel again and I won't recommend. I paid 2800/- for one night stay which is not worth. I recommend please check the reviews and book the hotel. In Agoda they mentioned like wifi is available but here no wifi.

The hotel cannot see Our 6 reservation via Agoda which is unrefundible. Agoda help service is not providing any help and not responding any of our questions. The money is taken by Agoda and hotel staff says there aren't any reservation via Agoda. This site is fraud and do not pay any amount via Agoda even if you find it cheaper.

Never ever book any kind of hotel from agoda.com. I booked a hotel. But when we visited the owner of hotel asked us to cancel the booking which was not possible according to agoda.com and hotel owner asked to pay double of the booking amount that i have already paid which was totally wrong. When i tried to contact agoda.com regarding this issue. They were very poor at there customer support. They didnt knew what to do on this case and how to help... i wont recommend agoda.com for any kind of booking service. They have very ery pathetic service...
