They first ask you for your rating on Agoda, then only if you give a positive review do they ask you to review them elsewhere.
This is clearly deceptive to consumers who will see only positive biased reviews.
I ALWAYS REFER TO AGODA TO GET THE BOOKING OF HOTEL FOR MY TRAVELS.
IT IS FAST AND USUALLY GIVE ME BEST DEAL COMPARE WITH THE OTHERS.

Had gone to a hotel but was refer to another hotel due to some issue. Agoda refund me and compensate me another night but I need to cancel the booking from agoda 1st.
I booked a hotel using agoda, no doubt it was an easy process with reasonable price. While approaching my trip date, a day before unfortunately an urgent thing came up and I had to request for an amendment in the dates. Went to manage booking, there was an option for change of date but to my surprise it was not available so I called the hotel personal and they tried their best explaining that changes can only be made via agoda. Then I ringed agoda the so called 24/7 customer service, sent all information they've required in their voicemail, marked it URGENT and they promised for a call back but sadly no news till now..
I like this hotel n stay in this boutique hotel many times. Good location n good price... n very clean. N convenient

I think I have used Agoda twice now, both for hotels in Thailand. Both times I knew which hotel I wanted to stay at, Agoda were offering rooms, the rate was very competitive, booking process was very simple. I will be looking at their site again.
Agoda offers the best lowest price on the internet with plenty of options to choose from and providing as much detailed about the hotels/apartments that allow us to make wise decision before we decide to make the booking.
And with the book now and pay later, it even gives us a piece of mind.
Easy to use, for making booking. However, the traveler's feedback portion sometime disappear and cannot find it anymore. Please make sure the traveler feedback is not disappear when it was there before.
For example one hotel in Jeju island, there was supposed to be 1-10 feedback, but only 3 appears, and the 'next page' button is 'grey up' (not usable). Thus, cannot see all the feedback; Please improve this. For the 3 feedback in this case, they are not readable to me as they are not in English, unfortunately. Suggest also more photo be taken on the room rather than so many on the lobby and building around it.
Agoda provided fantastic customer service and provided a full refund to accommodation that we cancelled at the last minute.

Answer: I didn't know that? I have had the best deals from them and I find them very helpful.
Answer: I don't bother making lists just search for where I am going and select the best deal for at least 1 mth before its needed and keep track of prices

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
