I don't know why it's so many bad reviews, this was my first time ordering and they called me a couple of minutes after I placed my order to make sure everything was okay. I ordered my contacts Wednesday and they came Friday also the representative was very nice.
I ordered my contacts, and they sent me the wrong Rx! When I put them in my eye I couldn't see a thing! Instead of negative powers they sent positive powers. So when I called, they couldn't resend with the correct contacts. They needed me to resend the Rx from my doctor however now it was expired so I need a new exam. So now I had to spend $135 for a new exam just because 1800 Contacts sent the wrong order! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I'm so upset with 1-800 CONTACTS! It was my first time using them and they royally screwed up! I ordered my $90.00 of contacts on Thursday, June 8th with next business day delivery, with the delivery expected on Friday, June 9th so I could actually see for a full weekend of martial arts events and lo and behold they won't arrive until Monday, June 12th! Then, I spend a countless amount of time on the phone explaining my situation over and over again and the best they can do is 1) Blame UPS, 2) Give me $30.00 back and leave me holding the bag for the rest, 3) Give me free delivery on my next order (which will never be happening), 4) cover their asses by saying "Next Business Day" actually means 1-3 business days, and 5) Tell me to call UPS if I want any further resolution even though they won't be able to help me with a thing! Seriously? I'M NEVER USING 1-800 CONTACTS AGAIN! YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THE SAME THING!
Idk why there's so many bad reviews they are amazing. And especially D'YANA I think that's how you spell her name she is amazing wish she could be the one I talk to every time extremely helpful understand and tries to get you the best service. She's awesome as for the contacts themselves I had a bad batch but D'yana took care of it. If they ever let her I'm never buying contacts from them again and I've been buying from them for years now. Can't explain how great she was. And the company over all is good! Hope y'all reward ur representative I was upset but she really took care of the situation
I ordered acuvue day and night contact lenses because that's the prescription I ordered the first time from my eye doctor. Used the prescription that was written to me from my eye doctor. Needless to say I paid for over night delivery because my last pair of contacts ripped and yes I did receive my contacts the next day. Here's where things went bad. After wearing the contacts from 1800contacts for maybe a day or 2, my left eye became infected! My eye doctor said it possibly was from the contacts I ordered because 1800contacts is known for distributing "bad" lenses. I have been 2 the hospital TWICE because of my eye and I am no longer able to wear contacts. All because I decided to go the cheaper route and order from this site. And might I add, I do not have health insurance, so on top of not being able to wear contacts I am stuck with a couple thousand dollars worth of hospital bills and forced to wear glasses. Thanks 1800contacts!
They promote themselves as being guaranteed, but when you ask for replaements they send old open box contacts and when you have problems with them being dry, creased, damaged they have a limit on what they will replace. Whey does it say anything about a limit.
I bought my contact lenses on this website and I regret. That doesn't work properly. Plus the Costumar service repesentative does not help you neather Supervisors. DO NOT BUY your contact lenses on 1800 contact lenses
I had never ordered contacts online before but took a chance at 1800 contacts to save $90 on a year supply plus free shipping. I didn't put in all the info needed and the RX pic didn't upload correctly. They called and sent several emails trying to inform me that they needed more info but I didn't check my voicemail or email until several days later when I finally did check on the status of my order. I saw it was cancelled so I called them at 10:30 pm on a Friday night to find out why. I had no wait time and a helpful customer service rep answered. She walked me through all the steps of getting my RX to them and my order processed. 15 minutes later she called me back to let me know that everything with the order went through perfectly and the order was processed and shipped with a free upgrade to overnight delivery. I got my contacts the very next day, less than 24 hours after calling them. They also included a free contact lens case that I wasn't expecting. I will be using them again in the future. I would suggest if you've never ordered contacts online, have any questions or issues about your order after placing it, or if you want to check on the status, give them a call. They were very helpful and I'm very pleased. The original estimated date of delivery was 7-10 business days. Even with the issue I had, from start to finish, I had my contacts in 7 days.
Honestly I have been buying contacts for 19 years and the past 10 years with 1800contacts. They should win best company in America there is never a wait time to talk to someone and they make life very easy in case you don't like the contacts you ordered. Great is not the word at how pleased I am
I had my order cancelled three times due to 1800 contacts not having the most up to date information from my doctors office. My prescription was not expired as I had just visited less than a year ago. I dealt with an online rep and thought my issue was resolved but the next day I received another cancel notice. I called today and was able to reach someone right away. The customer service rep (Kammi) validated my feelings of frustration and was able to resolve the issue with me on the phone. Not only was the issue resolved, but she added free next day shipping due to my troubles. Kammi was enthusiastic and really changed my whole experience around with 1800 contacts these last couple of weeks. Nice job!
I was shocked to dial 1800contacts and an actual person answered the phone. They are quick to resolve any issues. I have had really good service from 1800contacts.
I am never ordering my contacts from here ever again! They believe in fast service, but when I contacted them via chat. They said that they would check my problem, which was them charging me for an order I did not make, and this "agent" has been typing for over 30 minutes now. Honestly. They don't want to help you. They just want to take your money. Screw you 1800 contacts. Give me my money back.
They sent me the wrong order. I contact them; they admit they sent the wrong ones (after they try to contact the wrong Doctor) and apologize. They'll send the correct ones next day air. Next day... no contacts. Call again. They're so sorry... for some reason the order wasn't sent. They'll send them next day air, but since it's Friday I won't get them until Monday. Fine. Guess what? They didn't show up AGAIN. I called. Again. They claim they didn't get the text photo I sent of the prescription. I sent it and had the right number, it went thru... blah blah blah... they have no idea what they didn't get it. Profusely apologizing. I'll get free shipping next time. Big deal. I'm supposed to get my contacts tomorrow. Not holding my breath. Never using this company again. Inept.
I don't usually make posts like these but I feel a need to. If you or anyone you know uses 1800CONTACTS, STOP NOW! I received expired contacts and used three sets before realizing it. These contacts dried my eyes out and now looking back I have realized they were the source of migraines. I foolishly trusted this company and thought maybe my solution was the problem. After buying more solution and still experiencing issues, I checked the boxes to find they expired in MAY and I received them in NOVEMBER. After noticing the problem I assumed this never happens to them so I trusted them again to send me new contacts. They sent the box to a past address after I clearly asked them not to. They also sent me expired contacts AGAIN. And to top it off they asked for the first expired pairs back that I didn't use and if I didn't send them, they were going to charge me for it. They charge for expired contacts! Also, why would they want the expired contacts back? This may not seem like a big deal but my vision is a huge deal to me and I shouldn't have to wonder if what I'm putting in my eye is going to actually further blind me.

This company 1800contacts.com is great. I have used them for 10 years and will use them forever. It's convenient and fast to get your order. I always get my contacts fast. My orders always come several days faster than what I expect. I actually had a problem with my last order and the wrong script was sent, I contacted them and they shipped my new order super fast so I could get the new contacts so I could see. They paid for the shipping back of the other contacts and refunded my credit card for the inconvenience, even the box that I opened and used one pair out of. Everyone was quick to reply to my emails and had a great response and took full responsibility and made everything better.
My optometrist did not carry colored contacts in the color I wanted in my prescription so she recommended me to order them online.
