Bought a Gibson J200 Studio Rosewood guitar. The carton looked like a fork lift had gone through it but the case and guitar were okay Except... major finish issues on the back. Smears under the lacquer and a cluster of scratches! A brand new $3500. 00 guitar. They said I needed to ship it back UPS and they'd send out a replacement then. My guitar is back to them but they have YET to ship my replacement. Keep giving me mumbo jumbo about it and making promises that don't come through. Today they said that because I selected a specific Serial Number it held up my order from going out. No one offered me a choice of guitars. When I asked what this serial number is they gave me the one for the guitar I returned. I am really nervous. Are they going to give me a guitar that I have Paid For? Ever?

This might be a blessing in disguise. When trying to make a purchase for an item, I decided to use the payment plan option. I followed the steps and gave my card info. I then received an email saying that my order was canceled. I called to find out why. The customer service person wasn't helpful at all. So, I decided to try again. Hours later, I got another email saying my order was canceled again. I then contacted them via the customer service online. The representative who responded was no help again. I have the money for the item, but figured I would try to save a little now, but this totally turned me off from this company.

ZZounds is a con artist. After purchase they ask to complete a survey value up to $100. It turns out they use magazine subscription ads to make you buy more stuffs. They get the survey and the paid ads at the same time. What a pathetic lie. Bye liar

Bad business!
I have spent thousands of dollars with this company I recently ordered a Marshall stack that was placed on her around 5 August mind you this is the second time I ordered the same product first one was lost called in they said they would overnight my order next day FedEx get a hold of me says it's gonna be 2 to 3 more days for the delivery I missed two gigs concerts and lost money on both of them because of the unprofessionalism of ZZOUNDS
I would not recommend buying anything from ZZOUNDS at this point!
I was told by a supervisor when I asked what about the money I've lost from my gigs it was blatantly told there wasn't nothing I could do about it they weren't going to help out they weren't going to fix it they weren't even going to fix the delivery of the item I ordered this company sucks!

I have about 600 left to go on a guitar that I owe I will pay that and then parting ways but know I will consistently put bad reviews the same one on every platform I can

Never Again. Boo

My girlfriend ordered me a helix on fri. Should have been here sat.No avail. Didn't come Sun, Mon. Called sun they gave us a $25 gift card. Here it is tues still not here. When my girlfriend called was not getting the best customer service. I WILL BE USING SWEETWATER FROM NOW ON.

I've order from zzounds plenty of times but my last to order experiences were frustrating. I choose next day air on two different occasions in which they never shipped my order. I had to call back to find out that the didn't ship my order. They stated it was due to an address error that could easily be fixed, and when I asked why no one called me to correct it, they couldn't give an answer. Idk if I will order from zzounds again for a while.

Zzounds is the worst place to purchase DJ equipment from! I had a hardship with my job due to the pandemic and one of my equipments that I purchased from them had went into collections. I had spoken with them about making a payment in the future to resolve the payment but when i woke up today i noticed a very large amount taking out of my bank account from them that i did not authorize! When i called them they told me that they did not need to have my permission to take out any payment and that they would not be refunding the money back in my account!

Just purchased a vox ac15c2 I couldn't be happier with this amp been playing around with it for a few days now and it is amazing my first all tube amp but makes my living room sound like the ceiling is twenty feet high. I purchased a dunlop polishing kit, said free next day shipping, so I thought yeah right. But to my surprise it arrived next day everything in order, and packed super well. It was a pleasant transaction for me with no issues... I'll definitely be buying from them again, out of all the eBay and online purchases I've made this was by far the best transaction yet... A+++++ great job ZZsounds you've definitely got a customer for life now...

I've been buying gear from ZZsounds now for two years. So far it's ranged from a thousand dollar Taylor guitar to little stuff like mic stands in cables. Never had any issues whatsoever, they seem to have the items I need and want in stock. FedEx does bang things up but that kind of to be expected unless you're driving it home yourself. My orders have always arrived within 2 days usually. I write this review sitting in my fully equipped home studio that I literally can't wait to get into every single day. Because of the ZZsounds easy payment plan I've been able to get all this gear quickly and focus on playing music! I've been a musician for many years therefore have purchased many things and have used most of the major retailers. If you look closely at bad reviews you'll see a lot of its wordy temper tantrums written by upset customers. As a manager, I can tell you customers are moody a____s and usually the second anything doesn't go their way they freak out via online review seeking some sort of vindication. ZZsounds won't get any whining from me!

I called a "Gear expert " to ask about my remaining balance on the account. I was VERY rudely spoken to and then hung up on by this person. When I called back I was told that I was inadvertently disconnected somehow. Sure I was! This arrogance is enough for me to never purchase anything from them again. There are too many good music stores to shop in where you don't have to take a bunch of crap from the staff. Go somewhere that appreciates your business.

Waste of time

This is a horrible company! First, after submitting my credit card information for immediate payment and filling out the application they required for 12 month financing, they had no answers for me after calling 3 times over the 24 hour period except to watch for an email. Finally the next day, I received and email instructing me to call, nothing else. Once on the phone with Rep, he rudely asked me to verify my personal info and made unnecessary remarks adding to the already uncomfortable conversation with this person. He went on, still rude, that after 24 hour he was required to verify my name address and phone number before even running a credit app. The rude reply said they sent the email 2hrs after I filled out the app. I told him that wasn't true and we had called them 3X the day before and was told repeatedly to watch for an email. Again rude, rude, rude. He basically told me I was lying. I canceled my order

I've been buying for several years and recently had an issue where Fedex left my new gear "at the front door" which means it's out on the street of an apartment building in New York City! Is Fedex kidding? Needless to say, I didn't get it and Zzounds sent out a replacement within a few days, well before the projected timeline of the investigation concluded.

Horrible company

The website has poor security due to this someone got access to my account. They charged an order to it trying to stick me with the payments. ZZsounds customer support originally said "no problem we'll handle it". Month later they say I'm at fault and I owe them the payments. Never did they say I needed a police report during the incident their customer support is terrible. They do not validate orders at all just pass them through with no email/phone verification so find somewhere else unless you want to be in a situation like I"m in. All they care about is getting payments they'll throw you under the buss regardless of your situation.

I purchased a DEAN vmntx made in CHINA completely disappointed the knobs pull off and the plug in Jack broke off inside the guitar! I I write zzounds told them about the issues zzounds told me they would take care of the problem they also sent me instructions how to return it for a new one or a refund. I'm going to give zzsounds another shot wish dean would inspect these MADE IN CHINA JUNK GUITARS. IM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SO FAR ill write the follow up review once I get store credit I'll never buy made in china guitar again but as far as ZZOUNDS THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THERE CUSTOMERS. SINCERELY: RSTETT
