I've used ZocDoc to find four different healthcare providers (dentist, primary care, vision, dermatology). I really like the easy of scheduling. The reviews are fantastic as well because every doc I've found has been top notch thanks to ZocDoc. Where it comes up short is the paperwork. ZocDoc makes you fill out a bunch of medical history paperwork where they say they will forward it along to the medical providers. The problem is that everywhere I've went they've ignored the info ZocDoc sent over and made me fill out the paperwork manually all over again. It wastes 5-10 min of time each time I have to do this and really bothers me that ZocDoc says that I'm saving time by doing it up front even though no provider seems to care that I've already filled it out.
My first visit at Dr. Cohn's office can only be described as professional, courteous, friendly and amazing. Your referral to the Retina Institute turned out to be just what I needed.

Made an appointment to see a Doctor. Had a 2 hour wait and was never seen by the Doctor I booked with, only a nurse practitioner who never addressed any of the reasons I came to see the doctor for.
When it came review time zocdoc would not allow my negative review for the Doctor.
Zoc Doc is the best thing since sliced bread. It has never been so easy to find a doctor and book an appointment. I would recommend this site to everyone. It has all the information about the doctors and their staff and offices. Reviews from former patients. Its Great.
Using Zoc Doc was easy and made my visit to the doctor's office much quicker thanks to them already having my documents and paperwork.
I love this site! I can find all the doctors I need wight no hassle and I can fill out the check in papers before going in for my first appointments.
Dr. Baraz listened to me and worked with me to make the best plan for my health. I did not feel rushed.
Zocdoc has outdated information for my practice. It lists and old address and old phone number. I was told that they will only correct the inaccuracies if I pay their fee to join their service. Isn't this extortion? I should not have to pay them a ransom to simply remove inaccurate information.
I made an appointment AND GOT CONFIRMATION for my my wife to take my son, who had just broken his leg, to a specialist. It turned out the address on zoc doc was not even correct for the doctor. My wife had to carry my son around lower manhattan to get to this first address as it was not cab accessible.
My wife then looked up the correct address for the doctor which was all the way uptown. When she got there she discovered the doctor did not even see patients that day (Monday) and she couldnt see anyone until Thursday.
All while my son had a broken leg and was hobbling around in pain. We ended up having to find a doctor that same day w/o zocdoc.
Avoid this service.

ZocDoc is convenient to use to find a doctor and schedule appointments. It's great to see all of the availability. No more waiting on the phone. It's nice to read reviews from other patients before seeing a new doctor. Occasionally, the insurance accepted is not up-to-date but overall the site has been a good experience. Customer service is great and is quick to respond if you have a problem, such as a cancelled appointment, etc. I just wish more physicians join to expand our choices.

Absolutely love ZocDoc. Just seat at home and make your appts on the computer. You can see the hours, make your appointment and get a response. You don't have to speak to a person and keep asking what times available or what days. Do it on line and everything is right at your fingertips.
I absolutely love ZocDoc. It finds Dr. s in my insurance network and so far they've all been fantastic. It also sends emails and texts to remind me that my app't is coming and even early on the same day. It's fabulous and it's FREE!
The information this site has and ease it has in makings your Doctors appts is amazing.
Easy to use and you can book your appointment day or night! I love that I dont have to sit on the phone and wait on hold. I dont have time to do this during the week. I can look at reviews of the doctors, check if they accept my insurance and pick my appointment all at the touch of a few buttons :)
I discovered ZocDoc by chance few months ago when I needed a primary doctor. I am still very please with the site, and the posted reviews help me to find new doctors.
Seems like Drs are more interested in money than helping you. If you don't have insurance. They don't want you even if you pay up front. I also had a dr be a no show and gave me to his asst.
Perfect for me. Retains all my information in one place so I am not trying to collect it from everywhere.
