First time using ZocDoc and I absolutely loved it. Its real easy and fast to make your appointments. Also alerts you when your coming appointment is coming up. Gives you the option to fill all that paper work before you go in to your appointment! Recommend safe & secure.
It has reminders, yearly reminders, a medical history, reviews, appointments, all in one place.
At 2 of my recent visits my info was not sent over and I still had to fill out paperwork. I also wish you can search by Dr. name. I like the reminder texts that are sent prior to my appts.
Instead of calling around for hours trying to find a doctor who takes my insurance, is near me, and has open appointments, ZocDoc does it for me in moments. And helps get my medical forms pre-filled! I can't imagine doing this the "old" way now.
I love ZocDoc, whenever I need a doctor I use ZocDoc, check the ratings and as long as they are great ratings use that doctor and have yet to have a bad experience!
Very reliable appointment making and reminder service as well!
Great, everything worked out perfectly. Especially filling out paper work in advance.
I found that I had issues with some of the providers. The site had wrong Provider scheduling, or system didn't update Provider appt system.
I've used ZocDoc a few times and I have to admit - it beats calling in to make these appointments and remain on hold for minutes or get the run around. Its pretty simple. ZocDoc was made for people like myself. I like convinience and simplicity.
Dr. Don E. Phan. He is a poor excuse of a Dr. I doubt seriously any positive reviews are written by a patient. He cannot count to 30. What I mean by this, he will write you any number of pills with instructions to take so many a day. Problem is, when you actually multiply the number of days by the number of pills per day, he always leaves you short. Example: He will write 110 pills to be taken 4 times a day. If you do the math, you won't make it to 30 days before you run out. Problem is, he has already scheduled your appt. For 33 days away. When you show up because you ran out following the instructions, he tells you you have a drug problem. 120/4 a day equals 30. The math isn't that difficult. He hardly looks you in the eye. He mumbles and forgets what he has asked or told you before. He will suggest you see a surgeon when you have already gone to his buddy, the surgeon, and the surgeon says he can't help you. He doesn't listen and frequently seems to have made up his mind what hes gonna do despite anything you say. He loves doing injections for the big money. He does like to throw Oxy's at patients rather than weaker meds. The Oxy's are always ER's. I previous Dr. had me on one opiate at 60mgs. When I went the phan he reduced that to 40 and added an ER. If your so concerned that I am addicted, why then do you put me on a second opiate? Now I have two drugs that I have to go into WD's each month when you don't supply enough to cover 30 days. Nothing like having 28 days of pain, and 2 to 6 of WD's before you will see me again. So much for that oath you took.

In a city where it is difficult to get an appointment, Zocdoc doc is excellent as it saves us a lot of time and hassle. I have had nothing but positive experiences, and I have discovered excellent MDs who I will continue to see. Emailing an apt reminder is helpful, and a rating afterwords keeps the MD and MD office accountable. I don't easily give 5 stars but Zocdoc deserves it.
I like using ZocDoc. It is much easier to find doctors, view schedules, and adjust appointments. However, besides a couple doctors and dentists I have used repeatedly through the service, I find it often to be inaccurate - doctors listing appointments that aren't actually available just to get you in-the-door, then citing that the calendars on ZocDoc are actually "not in sync"... or listing that they accept certain insurances that they actually do not. I've also had a couple providers cancel on me, but report back to ZocDoc that I was a no-show. I have also become increasingly concerned about my privacy and how ZocDoc is using my information in their CRM system.
Hi Elle,
We are terribly sorry to hear about the trouble you've experienced. Our doctors guarantee the information they provide on their profiles, so we definitely want to get to the bottom of this right away. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621. Everything is easy with ZocDoc. Finding a doctor, getting appointment very conveniently as you can find your best time in an agenda of the doctor of interest.
The office personnel lacked compassion and basic manners on my visits. There was no eye contact, hello, or smile. I was even called by just my last name. One of the office personnel lied about me to the NP saying that I yelled at her on the phone. I asked if they had an office manager and if I could speak with them. I was put on hold. The NP came on the line and told me not to yell and proceeded to give me a lecture. He also told me that 4 hours was more than reasonable for a call back from a primary doctor. Their policy was 24 hour call back. If I felt that bad, I should just go to the ER. I told him I was not a medical person and needed to talk to one. He said he was eventually going to call me back. I told him " sorry to bother you". That was it.
Btw, I NEVER saw a doctor, even when I asked to see one.
I now have a new doctor who has reassured me that he will help me.

It is very convenient to make appointments in one place, get reminders of upcoming appointments and receive reminders of when a follow-up is due. However, only two of the providers I see are represented on ZocDoc. I just wish they represented more of the doctors I see regularly.
ZocDoc takes sometime that is historically complicated, un-exciting, un-appealing, and otherwise un-easy, and turns it into a seamless, convenient, and intuitive process. I remember how difficult it was to decide on my healthcare providers before I started using ZocDoc. I love how easy they make it stay healthy.
I have used zoo docs to help find just about every kind of specialist md in my family and almost each and every one has been outstanding, And the one of the many who wasnt, i have a feeling they were there for comic relief
Dr. Frantz was very informative and communicable. He explained everything I had questions about, while also giving me insight on the possibilities of other things people are generally faced with. A family tree was discussed, and his personality allowed me to feel comfortable speaking of any topic, be it personal or not.
Made my appointment and filled out forms online. Everything was ready when I arrived for my appointment. All I had to do was show ID and insurance card and sign the forms. Easiest first appointment I've ever experienced. Will be using Zocdocs again!
Answer: Hello Mark. Zocdoc offers a closed-loop review system that allows patients to share their experiences after being seen for an appointment booked on Zocdoc. These reviews can be found on each individual provider's Zocdoc profile. You can search for a provider at https://www.zocdoc.com/. Please let us know if we can help you find the care that you need or if there is a different set of reviews that you are trying to access at this time. You can reach our service team at (855)962-3621.
Answer: Hi Sandra, we hope that you were able to get the care that you were looking for. At Zocdoc, we are not able to offer any medical advice or guidance so we recommend you contact your doctor directly if you need to ever verify they will be able to provide the treatment you are looking for. Feel free to reach out to the Zocdoc team at (855) 962-3621 or [email protected] if there is anything we can do to help you find the care that you need.
Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
Answer: Hello Swetha. Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help you find a doctor and book an appointment right online. If you go to www.Zocdoc.com, you can search for doctors by specialty, location, and insurance. You'll be able to see a list of doctors and their availability. Once you select a doctor, you can choose the time that is best for you. Once you complete the booking process, the doctor will receive your appointment information and confirm your appointment via email. This is completely free for you as a patient. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you need help with this or anything else!
Answer: Hi Amanda! That depends on the doctor's office! Every provider is different, so it would be best to get in touch with them about specific pricing information. Give us a call at 855-962-3621 if you have any other questions. In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
Answer: Hi Mallory! Thanks for your question! You can see a provider's reviews by viewing the full profile and scrolling down. All of the reviews will be listed there toward the left side of the page. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you are having any trouble! In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
