I placed an order on March 25th for a pair of glasses, I received an email on 4-1-2020 saying my glasses were on the way. I thought wow that was really quick, then I received an email with a USPS tracking number and it said I would receive my glasses by 4-5-2020. I was really excited to be getting my new glasses, well 4-5-2020 came and went and no glasses so I waited a until 4-10-2020 to reach out to customer service because I still had not received my glasses and there was no updates on the tracking number that I had been provided for USPS. At that time they said they were in route to me so I waited four more days and still no glasses. So on 4-14-2020 I reached out to customer service again and they said they would check into my order and someone would get back to me. On 4-16-2020 I got another email stating they were redoing my glasses and they would be on the way without any further delay; well it is 4-22-2020 and still no glasses and no signs that they are on the way either.
I would not recommend using Zenni Optical unless you are satisfied with glasses that will have problems and are mediocre at best. I spent $125 on glasses I can not use. Multi-focal, but I don't have a prescription on the top, jusing. These glasses must be worn halfway down my nose to work, they make me feel disoriented and the ground appears much farther away then it actually is, I've been wearing multifocal glasses for years. These are by far the worst pair I have ever had. Won't order from them again.
I was surprised to see how good the glasses were given how inexpensive they are. I bought two pairs and had great communication from China (where they obviously make their products) even as China was shutdown with the coronavirus.
Two things:
1) SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTION. Lensabl messed up my order and then gaslit me. Zenni, on the other hand, when they weren't sure the prescription was as I'd listed, asked me to send the prescription and sent two perfect pairs of glasses. So don't just fill in the numbers on any of the websites -- upload your prescription. That said, Zenni seems to check on prescriptions.
2) I can't honestly say how quickly lenses will arrive. I think they take a long time -- but my experience was in February -- again during the onslaught of coronavirus -- so it took about a month from order to receipt. Still, it cost 50% of what I paid at Warby Parker so a little wait if you can do it, isn't horrible. The frames don't feel QUITE as sturdy at the Warby Parker frames I bought, but they are perfectly fine and I'm happy with both companies. The Zennis took longer to make but the Warby Parker glasses also took a while (as did the Lensabl lenses only).
Unlike Lensabl that messed up my prescription with a substandard product on my prescription with the CORRECT figures, Zenni's materials seem solid all around. Warby Parker's too -- just a bit more expensive than the others.
I'll buy from here again when I need new glasses.
The prescription is off! I see 100 time better with my 6 year old glasses that I bought from Eye Buy Direct! Don't buy Zenni glasses!

We want you to know that having the glasses replaced at no additional charge is an option once we confirm that the glasses were either made incorrectly or that they are defective in some way. However, in order to begin to determine the issue with your glasses, we must first obtain a copy of your prescription including your pupillary distance (PD). Our records show that you emailed us on February 21st to advise us of the issue, and in our response on the 22nd, we asked that you submit a copy of your prescription and PD for review. It looks like we have not received those items yet. We are eager to assist you with this matter and hope to receive your email reply and prescription soon so that we may resolve this matter quickly and to your satisfaction.
I echo many of the same reviews I have read since my experience, I sure wish I'd read them before using this company. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, first issues was shipping time. It literally took what seemed like forever for my order to arrive. Second complaint was that my sunglasses were bent due to the size case they were crammed in. I contacted customer service and started the refund process. The customer service representative told me I'd get a store credit when my glasses were scanned at the post office, that didn't prove to be true. I waited a week to follow up and while I was checking on that they tell me my return has made it back to the store and that my credit will be in my account in 24-48 hours. I didn't get my return in 48hrs so I contacted them again. This time I'm promised same day credit, still no credit! I just contacted them for the 4th time and was told I would have a credit in 24hrs. They literally just wear you down with all these lies. I would not recommend using this company! You get what you pay for, and in some cases you don't even get that once you return a damaged item and don't get your money back.
Have used this company multiple times for the whole family! Love it! You pay like 1/20th of what your eye doctor would charge! Just make sure you type in the correct, current prescription info. And you're done. Couldn't be easier!
I was told 10-12 days then 21 days given no tracking # saying I should already have one... They act like you paid me who cares at this point
I've been buying glasses for my daughter for about two years now, and this company has been amazing! I wish shipping was a little bit faster, but I absoutely love them, and my daughter loves picking out her own glasses. Definetly recommend 100%!
The ability to get High quality prescription glasses at less than 1/10th of what I used to pay is amazing. Nearly all of the 8 pairs that I have purchased have been fantastic. And I've only spent about as much as I would have on a single pair at LensCrafters. I keep coming back for more, and taking advantage of their referral program to get my friends trying it out as well.
I recently had to return some glasses because the Rx didn't work. Not their fault, was the prescription. Zenni chat support was fast and efficient and set up my return and exchange very quickly and painlessly. And I love the glasses I picked.
A friend of mine told me about your website. I loved the idea. I used to spend hundreds of $$ on glasses. I decided to order fade-in glasses to try it out. I loved how easy it was to figure out the size and the fit. The pic feature with trying on glasses is really cool. Delivery was timely and the quality is good.

Been using them for many years. The eyeglass business is all hype. Frames come from major worldwide distributors. That aside, my prescriptions were all made accurately. In many years, I had only one problem, and I suspect it had something to do with the size frame and choice of blue tint and progressive combo- something. They replaced it with a second pair, which also was not right. However, I have purchased dozens of eyeglasses/sunglasses over the years. They are as stylish as you want, at affordable prices. I ordered everything from bifocals to progressives, tinted and photo-chromatic. No problems... The pricing is reasonable - very- and they arrive relatively quickly.
This is my first pair of glasses from Zenni, but I would order again in a heartbeat. The frames are exactly what I wanted and are high quality. I prefer rimless frames, which I fairly difficult to find in a round configuration. However, I found 2 options, and the one I choose was perfect. Also, tThe prescription is perfect. Great job!

This is my third pair of glasses from Zenni! Love how they've upped their selection and options. Love the Virtual Try-On which I'd not experienced as seamlessly on other sites.
Bottom line. All my prescriptions have been accurate - this last one included Progressives. And there is no place I'd have gotten them for $50.80! So THANK YOU, ZENNI!
The order process was fairly easy although I did not find the website real intuitive. I did have to email Customer Service for site use clarification. Was kept informed about order process and delivery. Received glasses with a plastic case that didn't clasp shut and a little laser that did not work, changed the battery, still didn't work. I trashed both items. The glasses and prescription are great, I wear them everyday and am thinking of ordering another pair. I would strongly recommend.

I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Despite the period of adaptation needed, we are happy to report that we do not receive a disproportionate number of complaints about our progressive lenses. However, we don't ever want to assume that needing time to adjust to the lenses is the only reason a customer could be having difficulty with their glasses; consequently, if you have recently purchased progressive lenses, and have problems seeing clearly through them, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-211-2105. Answer: I had the same experience. Very disappointing. When I called about the problem they questioned the accuracy of my prescription. I was able to return them for a Zenni credit, less shipping costs. Waiting to see if the second pair is better...
