I tried to book a hotel and they offered 5% discount that never applied- fake phone numbers online! I went through hell to tech someone and they will not provide the discount or a refund + I'm at the hotel and they never heard of the NO RESERVATION!
I will dispute the charge.
I booked through this company for a hotel room.they took my money and made the reservation, then weeks later when I checked into the hotel they had no record of the room being paid for. The 3rd party company zenhotels.com did not send the funds to the hotel so I had to pay on arrival for a room I had already paid for weeks ago.The hotel said they do not have any contracts with zenhotels, zenhotels said they book through other companies and would not provide me with proof they paid the hotel because they did not pay them. When I email them they say the same thing over and over. They are looking into it…there's no number to call everything is done via email or chat! Just save yourself the hassle and headache and book with a reputable company. This company is not an American company. They are scammers that have been around for years now if you look and do a little research you will see the same thing happening to people all the time from these guys. Even reputable hotels have written bad reviews about the fraudulent website. It's been months now and all I've received is a poorly written email from a non English speaker saying they will contact supplier…give me a break.my booking number is ******* and the hotel was Hampton Inn & suites in Cleveland Mentor….The hotel did nothing wrong. It's the zenhotels.com that cheats people out of their money.

Zero stars! We booked hotel in rethymno with zenhotels! I pay! I make 200km to go for holidays! When i arrive hotel informed they had any book! Hotel manager informed me they did not know zenhotels and he kick aout me! I had pay zenhotels for booking and my destoroyied my hollidays! Never i will book with this site! I m very dissapointed!

We found a geat deal with zenhotels that no other site offered. And we booked a studio with double beds. We paid in full at the time of booking online. When we arrived, we just had to put an $80 hold, but it was returned. The studio was super. It was very clean, had a kitchennet (flatware, silverware, medium size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher with dish soap and sponge, etc.), a small living room, one master bath, big closet, luggage space with a long tall mirror. Breakfast was super! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. We were very satisfied. It met our needs for our stayed.

Booked an hotel on the 7th May and made the full payment. A couple days later contacted the hotel but they could not find my reservation. Have been in contact with zenhotels.com since the 21st May and, so far, the hotel still does not have the reservation. Have been in contact with Zenhotels customer service almost daily but until not they were unable to solve this issue.
UPDATE
I would like to inform that I was always in contact with zenhotels and they were always helpful in trying to resolve the situation. I'm sorry it took some time to get an answer but in the end everything was resolved. I can confirm that I have already received a refund. At the moment I have no reason to complain about zenhotels and therefore I am revising my evaluation of the company.

If I could, would give zero stars! ZenHotels.com is a dishonest booking company. It has happened to me. The owner lives in the US and the business is registered in Eastern Europe. They post a cheap price to lure you in, but you are not getting that. For the hotel of your choice, ZenHotels gives you a false booking number, takes your money, and turn around try to put you in a much cheaper hotel for the same price. That is the business they are in. If you want your money back, they would want to keep some of it as fees. Stay away from this company!

I was charged a foreign transaction fee to my credit card (separate from the charge for the hotel) despite the fact that I am not even leaving the state I live in. Nowhere during booking or payment were these fees mentioned. Ridiculous!

I was charged a foreign transaction fee for booking a hotel in Boston (I travelled from Ohio). The fees were not disclosed anywhere in the fine print. And when I called customer service, the representative said they there was nothing they could do to help and I would "have to wait to be contacted". Then he hung up. Save yourself the grief, and go with a better designed app - which is all other available. I will never use this app again. Period.

For my wife I booked and paid for a room at the Radisson Red Miami Airport Hotel through Zenhotels. My wife arrived to check in and was denied a room citing there was a water problem. She was able to get the last room at a hotel next door but had to pay out of pocket. I contacted Zenhotels and they said they would call the hotel. No resolution and they stopped answering texts. I used my credit company to protest the charge. Zenhotels told them my wife checked in and out and that is a lie. Luckily she was one of 15 people denied a room and she can get some of them to substantiate her claim. I will never use this booking site again. Beware!

I booked with this site for the first time and it will be my last. Got sick.had to cancel. Did so in the appropriate amount of time. As long as I did it by 14:00 on March 17th. Called to see why my credit card got charged and had not received my refund...they said I cancelled on the 18th, which was a lie because It is cancelled at 900am on the 17th.

I booked a hotel for two nights, and when my plans changed and I couldn't use it anymore, I canceled two days before the free cancellation deadline. They emailed me and asked for more information and I provided that information even before the deadline. They still charged me, and when I disputed the credit card charge, they fought it and they continue to fight it. They don't adhere to their policies. They lie, and I would never book with them again.

We booked our hotel through Zen Hotels and we encountered a snow storm on our trip. This storm dumped over four foot of snow at our end destination. We had to cancel that portion of our trip past the deadline of cancellation. They would not refund and ran us around for over a month. We posted many reviews. Finally after much work they finally gave us our refund and asked us to amend our posts or delete them.

I booked a hotel room in Anaheim at the Hyatt Place for 140 dollars, a good price. As I saw the email in my mail, I closed the browser window. When I saw the CC report, days later, they charged the DOUBLE! 275 dollars. Unbelievable. And then I went to open the email, and they simply don't put the value on the email, so that can steal from you. It is a SCAM. Don't use this company!

Unfortunatelly we had a family issue and I called to check if I could cancel our reservation. The lady on the phone told me I could cancel the booking free of charge. Than I received an email that we lost our €1.500. If we would have known that we would lose our money we would have changed dates or even considered going anyway.
That we couldn't get our money back was correct according to the booking confirmation and the date that we could cancel for free. However if the lady on the phone didn't misinform me we could have still gone or at least didn't lose the opportunity to think of something else.
I expect better service and information.

They advertise free cancellation, but when I tried to modify my reservation, TO SHORTEN IT BY ONE DAY, it came up $300 more expensive. So the free cancellation actually would cost me $300 for one less night. What a scam. And the service rep couldn't even give me a cohesive answer. I will never use them again.

I booked through Zen hotels and when i wanted to change the dates of my stay they upped the price 300$ dollars EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIMED I HAD FREE CANCELATION.
When i called customer service they were unproffetional and not well trained she couldn't even anser simple questions just silence.

We book a hotel from this website, but the hotel and the zen hotel both charged me. However, zenhotel never return the over charged fee to me. It's a scam web!
