I am on the verge of complaining about Zenhotels. In May 2024, I booked a room at the City of Dreams Hotel in Limassol for a family vacation in August 2024. The reservation details were for 98 square meters (2 connecting rooms). I checked directly with the hotel and was told that my reservation was a standard room of 49 square meters, and from there begins a horror movie by Zenhotels. I sent an email, called countless times and they always said that they were looking into the matter. I must mention that my wife was pregnant at risk and all this pressure on the room specifications did not contribute to the pregnancy and we were in the hospital a lot and they did not solve it for me for 3 months. Only 3 days before the deadline, they offered a solution, and part of the solution is a promo code, which I now want to use and it is not working. And they are also now removing the warranty. Beware of Zen Hotels – My Terrible Experience
I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Zen Hotels to warn others. I booked and paid for a hotel through their platform two weeks in advance. Everything seemed fine—until I arrived at the hotel, only to find out that there was no booking in my name and the hotel was completely full.
I immediately contacted Zen Hotels through emails, WhatsApp, and even phone calls, but they were completely unhelpful and kept lying to me. I ended up stranded on the street for 7 hours, trying to resolve the situation. Ultimately, I had to book another hotel on my own.
It's now been 9 days, and I'm still fighting to get my refund. Zen Hotels continues to give me the same evasive and dishonest answers.
I urge everyone to be extremely cautious when using Zen Hotels. Saving a few dollars isn't worth the risk of ending up without a room and being left in a terrible situation.

Do not book with this travel agency they are a fraudulent company and scammers. I booked a hotel stay in June and the hotel granted me a partial refund for inconveniences. The hotel informed me and provided receipts and evidence that ZenHotels / Expedia Groups received the refund from the hotel. It's been over 30 days and ZenHotels today is still REFUSING to refund me the money. Customer service and their managers are incompetent and won't give me a yes or no if they'll refund me or a timeframe of when I should receive the refund. It's been a month and they just give me the run around. Very poor services all around! The website is so laggy, the customer service is terrible, avoid this company at all costs!

I own and privately rent out my villa. Zen hotels have infected my business profile with awful photos linking to their website. Called and got nothing. Emailed loads of times and get no response. Read up on all the reviews before you use Zen hotels as they are terrible. You won't get anyone who speaks English on the phone either. Nightmare company to deal with. I am at a loss!

Zenhotels.com Is by far the most irresponsible, unreliable company I have ever done business with. Don't waste your time. They left me high and dry on a disney vacation, with kids, and left me with no place to stay. They said the best they could do was reimburse me for the Hotel that I found, because they, the hotel booking website, couldn't find one. So after a full day 1 at disney, we get to go to the Hotel that Zenhotels.com said was booked for us, to find out we actually do not have a room.
They did refund me. They did offer me to pay for the room that I finally found...at 3 AM with my entire family wiped out from a day at the park. I told them the refund was great but keep the measley comensation they were offereing me for a HUGE inconvenience. Are they a legit company? I guess, if that's what you call legitimate. I wouldn't let them book me a Hotel if they offered me a free week on a tropical isalnd, because I don't trust that they'd actually book the room. Never again. Keep your pathetic offer to compensate a night that was turned into a nightmare by this company. Run, don't walk to another booking site. These guys are hacks, and that's putting it super nicely.
Attached is the $20 offer and proof of how much they really care. They gave me a $20 credit and a refund, with a promise to compensate me for a room that they couldn't even find. Needless to say, our next day, with only 4 hours of sleep, was not the day we were expecting to spend on our short trip.
