The gym has been closed since 3/17 and they have been charging me. They say you can contact them by email or cooperate number but I attempted both and got nothing! I'm so heated I like that gym too. I'm waiting for them to reopen but no word yet and they are still charging me. It's that illegal? To charge for something your not getting?
Ordered a trainer during a free flash sell. All I had to do is pay for shipping. That was a month ago. No connect whatsoever from the company.
Stay away from this outfit. My gym was supposed to re open on May 26, Oakland Park Florida location. They didn't open on time and posted some idiotic excuse on the doors. Trying to reach a human being is a waste of time. They've had over 2 months to get ready to re-open and nothing. Website is pathetic, has the same posting as March 17. No updates. Sray away!
Trying to cancel membership while COVID-19 has everything closed and no one ever answers the phone... the next step per the contract is send certified letter. Sent certified letter to the address in the contract. Postal service sent it back because there is no such address! I contact someone via email she states " I see you called in May 1 claiming to have sent certified letter claiming... then proceeds to say IDK where you got that address that's not it ummmmm on the contract is where I got it... So I screen shot the contract with the address. And no one has responded since the last email at 11 am... REALLY! Just admit your contract is outdated apologize for the inconvenience and move on. NEVER! Blame the customer... that's CS 101... WORST CS EVER! Never again...
I got a phone call in February about payments we were not able to go to gyms due to the shutdown of the pandemic but they still continue to charge my card money I don't have to feed my kids and I'm not working and then there's no one to get in contact with to refund it the corporate office isn't responding the facility isn't responding please at this time we don't have money fees refunded
I like the gym but they are ripping me off. Attempted to fix this twice, no one answers at corporate, let's see if my Youfit website inquiry is answered. They're still getting paid even though the gyms are closed but no one to answer the phones.
WHEN YOU TRY TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP AT YOUFIT, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU AND PRETEND THEY DIDNT RECEIVE THE $10 CANCELLATION FEE
THEN YOURE STUCK WITH ENDLESS LETTER WRITING
IF YOU. WANT TO JOIN A HEALTH CLUB, DONT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD
PAY IT IN ADVANCE
BUYER BEWARE
Don't join this gym! They are a bunch of crooks that will take money out of your bank account for years. We have tried to cancel membership 3 times and have even paid additional $10 cancellation fee and yet they still continue to take monthly fees from our account. Don't understand why this process is so difficult! Even with locations closed due to the virus they are still taking money out! Don't get roped into this scam! Go join another gym!
After joining YouFit one day, I went in for my first session the following day. The employee giving me orientation tried to bully me into having a trainer work with me in the gym; he told me if I didn't do the trainer plan, then YouFit wasn't the right place for me. The next day I took a letter to YouFit to cancel my membership. They never responded to my request for a refund, my credit card company handled this situation for me because I had proper documentation. Very bad experience, very horrible customer service.
It's been closed for almost 2 months now and I still get money taken out of my account.
I've been trying to call to cancel (being the actual location is closed)
And no one answers the phone.
My fiance and I are fairly new to this gym been there about 2-3 months. They closed March 18th in that month they have taken from our account a yearly annual fee of 49.99 as well as a monthly payment of 24.99. Today again they tried to take tbe monthly fee, with the gym being closed due to the crisis and hardship most if not all are experiencing right now. I think it is unkind and wrong on there behalf. I have called and left messages as well as sending an email almost 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive a response. Glad they have no problem taking money for services they are no longer providing. I truly hope someone from that gym decides to contact me.
No communication with them after covid. No one to answer questions, no response to emails, and overcharged my bank account. Too bad, the people and the gym itself were nice, but I found myself feeling insecure about the state of my bank account with them.
This company is still billing people for gym memberships even though locations are closed. They claim they laid off all of their hourly and part time employees but are paying salaried ones MOST of their salary. Then why are they collecting full membership dues? They are closed. You cannot cancel unless you go to the locations. Which are closed! If I cannot workout, why am I paying to? This company is taking advantage of a pandemic to turn a profit!
So I trained there for just 2 weeks. I was charged for January and then February. Then I unexpectedly moved to Canada and had to cancel my membership. I tried to cancel over the phone on Feb 18. I was told I cannot over the phone. You can over the phone with LA Fitness. This was extremely inconvenient being in Canada. So I had to get a friend to go and cancel for me in person. My friend went on Feb 20. My membership was canceled but because Feb has only 29 days and I had to cancel 10 days before, I was charged another month. So 3 months charge for using the gym for 2 weeks. I explained my situation and all. I emailed multiple times. I never even got a single reply. No one ever got back to me. I tried to get a manager to help but said only corporate office could do it. I just can't believe that in my situation, with the circumstances and all that happened and the fact that I did try to cancel on Feb 18, that not only and I not getting a refund for the extra month I was charged but no one has the decency to get back to me. And by the way you have to pay a $10 cancellation fee on top of that. So 3 months of membership + $10 for 2 weeks of use. I do not recommend this gym to anyone.
Ever wonder why you see YouFit gyms closing without warning? It's poor corporate management and substandard trainers. Always be careful about signing personal training contracts! YouFit made promises to me that they did not keep, charged my credit card fraudulantly for another month after I had cancelled, and promised a refund of which I only got half. Remember, most of these clubs put client numbers and the bottom line BEFORE members and quality of trainers. ANYONE can get "certified" as a trainer for as little as $69.99 on line! There is no over sight in "trainers", and gyms want to pay their employees as little as possible because of their high overhead which means "trainers" with lack of knowledge and experience at minimum wage.
Buyer beware as you don't get what you pay for.
Bye Bye YouFit as I have left along with many others.
I used to go to youfit and at first it was good but the service is really rude and I felt attacked one of the girls that worked there was really really rude she said I don't care that you don't care, and the change my trainer so many times they give you basic training even if your experience or not. I would never go back to a gym with that type of service
I took a personal trainer for three months. At the time for my last session, my trainer ask my for renewal and I said no. She told me no action required. Then, the charge was in my credit card, and I ask for refurnd. They told me it was my fault b/c I did not cancel in the front desk. NO BODY TOLD ME I HAD TO DO IT IN THIS WAY AND THE TRAINER SAID NO ACTION REQIRED. The manayer "Many" affer me in compessation for the mistake, some persoanl traning sesions, and sign inmediately FOR NOT FURHTER CHARGES. BUT GUESS WHAT? They cgarged me again!. And said so sorry. We cannot do nothing. So, bottom line they STOLE MY MONEY. I have proofs of all. It happened in YouFit University and Golderod
I joined, paid the entry fee, three weeks later they closed down that location without sending so much as a text or email, after that a few weeks later they charged me an annual fee of 50 dollars, I was my money back or I will sue and run that place out of business.
Be aware of Youfit company, they are money hungry and horrible corprate! Plus 60% of there machines consistently broken!
I went to sign for a free session and the trainer end up convincing me to sign up with him FOR ONE MONTH that was the agreement only one month to get a good diet plan together, I did ask him if I can cancel anytime he said yes! And I asked a second question, are you going to charge this card ever again in the future and he said no!
Got my first session and I didn't like it I went back to cancel and refund my $200 initial payment and for my surprise they refused to do so, front desk employee told me that I can only cancel training sessions within 3 days from signing up even though I got my first session 5 days later and it didn't end here she continued that even if I cancel today I will still be responsible for the next 3 month of payment! Imagine paying for a service that you hate! And imagine being lied to and locked in a contract without being disclosed this information in it and give you a piece of paper to sign with the smallest font ever No human eye can see to read this fine details, Youfit have lost me as a paying customer for 8 years just to scam me of $450. How stupid Bussiness move that is!
Location managers are useless all they can say there is nothing we can do and corprate have no phone number ( can you believe that) no phone number only email and I sent them multiple email about the deceiving fraud that trainer did with no response back from them, stay away go find you another gym they also cost $10 a month and 100 times better and cleaner
This gym at first glance seems ok, but the people are unfriendly, work on equipment and clean while members are working out, they did not post hours for holidays and then have incompetent trainers. The manager is a hack and only cares about his numbers. They fired the trainer I contracted with and will not let me out of the contract. I injured my knee and ended up with a horrible experience.
Answer: Youfit rips people off. I've been consistently charged $21 to my account despite the company's closure as a result of Covid. All attempts to cancel my subscription was ignored and not considered. If this is not fraud, then I don't know what it is.
Answer: I chose this company because after viewing the things I the site i really liked what they had to offer now i wish i had not ordered from them
Answer: Awful! I was told there is no customer service number, to put in a complaint to!
