The staff at the clubs are great but that's is the only positive thing. The company is only focused on taking your money. Getting any of your money back( even when they bill you in error) is next to impossible. The clubs are run down. Clubs are too different from location to location... no consistency! They claim they have state of the art equipment but they have machines that i have personally used from 15 plus years ago. The bathrooms have carpeted benches that are so dirty and stained, cheap curtains from a dollar store( as i was told by the staff), holes in the wall or worse very poorly repaired holes that look terrible. They have raised their prices yet they never bring in new equipment nor repair broken down equipment in a reasonable amount of time. Multiple TV's around the gym that are not working. I can go on and on. Most of the people i have gotten to know over the years at Youft have migrated over to Planet Fitness... newer equipment, cleaner facilities, everything is available and working, and they're cheaper. Reminds me of what Youfit used to be years ago. Best of all, even the owner and founder of Youfit, Rick Berks left the company because of how the investors have have run this company... into the ground if you ask me. Again, stay away and go to a more honest, better run company like Planet Fitness
Stay away from this company! As soon as Covid-19 started I called them and asked them to freeze my membership. In July I was charged even though my membership was supposed to be frozen. I called them and was told I will receive a refund. I waited and waited just to found out that I was changed again. I called them again and was told that all charges were correct, so no refund for me. I was also told that in order to cancel my membership I had to come into the gym in person, which is what I did. Guess what... I was charged to cancel the membership! I thought to myself businesses are struggling, so I am going to give them a break. I was going to let all charges go even though the gym was closed the majority of the time therefore I did not use the facilities. Well, a couple of days ago, I noticed a new charge from them. I called them and was told that there was no cancellation from me in the system - yeah right! Thank God I have my cancellation receipt. I am over it! I am disputing all charges through my bank and that will be the end of my relationship with this dishonest company.
On march they stole my money and the gym was close cause Coronavirus, And now they are send me email to pay again july and august and I am not using the service, I called and they told me that I have to pay 10 dollars of cancellations plus one month, in total 23 dollars. They are stealing your money
I have gone in, called, and emailed to get my refund for getting charged while closed. Then I canceled multiple times and im still getting charged! No one calls back but yet they are "so sorry" for the inconvenience! They are full of it!
I signed up with my girlfriend in March and was only able to use the gym 1 or 2 times before the Corona virus hit and the gym shut down. I find it very frustrating that in the middle of a pandemic I was forced to manually freeze my account because I was still being charged for a service that I could not use because it was unavailable due to quarantine.
I manually froze my account, but later found that my account was automatically unfrozen without my permission when my location reopened. I was never called and told that the location was open or that my account would be unfrozen. With the number of cases in Florida steadily rising after the quarantine ended I was not about to go back to the gym and I was appalled to find that my account had been unfrozen without me requesting so. A couple of weeks ago I went into my local youfit to cancel my subscription because there was a charge of $53 on my account even though I had not authorized the unfreezing of my account nor had I been to the gym. They told me I could not cancel my subscription because I had made it with a another person even though it was my bank account that was being charged. They told me to come back with the other person and they would cancel it for me.
I went back today to cancel my account because even though I had already expressed that I would be canceling my account and that I had not used your facilities at all since March I was charged a yearly subscription fee as well as a monthly subscription fee. This is outrageous and I demand a refund.
I refuse to pay over $100 for a service that I am unable to utilize due to a global pandemic which is out of my control.
I have called, emailed, tweeted, and facebook messaged Youfit corporate with no response. My local Youfit has told me they will not refund my money.
I have been incredibly disappointed with You fit since signing up last year. At first it was just disappointing how crowded and dirty the facility was. But then since COVID I have been very very upset at how they are handling billing customers. They continued to charge their customers throughout the pandemic and closures, and when I asked for a freeze in June over the phone when they opened they wouldn't give it to me. I didn't feel safe going into their facilities, as previously noted they are exceptionally dirty. So I had no way to cancel or suspend my membership without sending an expensive certified letter. I would have preferred a suspension and just gone in to cancel when I felt safer, but they wouldn't allow this. Now, since I got a new card and they can't charge me, they are saying that unless I pay for the month of August and send in cancellation money and a certified letter (a whopping total of $40 just to get them off my back) they will continue to "bill me" and send me to collections. I have no problem paying the cancellation and sending the letter to be done with them, but paying for a month I couldn't use due to their dirty facilities and the current pandemic I feel is very necessary. I caution everyone to stay away from this thieving, disgusting, dirty company. Their are plenty of better gyms out their for around the same price.
Gym seen clean price seems nice, people seem nice. Trust me it just seems like that. The machines are always broken, and never wiped down. Most of the time they take months to get fix. The bathrooms are always discussing, and the staff is rude. As far as the price, well they raised my membership without even a warning. During the shut down they charged me even while they were closed, and my account was frozen go to planet fitness. You'll be better off there.
I have a problem to resolve with you guys.
And sincerely I'd like to have it as soon is possible.
In March I asked for the cancellation of my plan with you, but instead they did the freeze. And when I went to cancel I saw that I had been charged FEE while the subscription was frozen. I made the complaint directly at Youfit where I had the plan, sent an email, called, and nothing to solve the problem and return my money. Once again I went to Sandolfoot's Youfit, I canceled my plan (which I also did on the phone) but in addition to not having returned my $ 53 dollar money, they still charged me another monthly fee even after the cancellation on Jul / 31. What should I do to resolve this as soon as possible?
I am eagerly waiting for your answer.
I have been member for 11 months and when they closed because of Covid 19, I have called my Bank and stop paying because they are closed
A week ago they texted me saying that I missed my payments fo two months
I just don't get it.,!
They are closed and they still want me to pay?,
I was walking to this Gym on Comercial with Dixie Hwy but now even if I had to drive couple miles it's fine
Strongly Not recommended YouFit
Never again will pay for a full year membership. They are very dishonest and do not refund your money even if you have a good reason to cancel your membership.
Also, I invited a friend to workout with me and because she was in good shape, they gave her a hard time and lecture her to the point of embarrassment - Idiots!
They have limited numbers of machines and with the covid excuse members have even less access to the equipment.
I suggested several time to interchange machines daily so we have access to all of them at a different day but they were very adamant and ignore my request completely.
The customer service is horrible. I tried to call to cancel my membership before my first month over the phone and they tell me I have to go in person. Waiting for the cancellation charges now. Will never go back. I would recommend staying far away from this place
I ordered from them 3 weeks ago. Nothing. No confirmation email, no tracking number. I've called, never spoke to a real person. Over emailed them 6 times never got a response!
Youfit are scammers, they steeling people money and taking advantage, chargin annual feee 53 dollars scamimg
I ordered a trainer back in April and still right now today have not received it. I tried getting in touch with customer service and no reply these people are a bunch of crooks
They are taking advantage of the situation and taking the money. Without consent when the gym was closed it was a robbery. Ug charging an annuity when they know that the gym is going to close again none of the clients use a mask.
I went into a youfit on June 18th to CANCEL my membership because I was extremely mad that I had been charged during the pandemic! I was assure I successfully canceled. Come to find out today I notice I was again charged on June 25th along with the annual fee as well! I called them and have been assured they will refund those 2 charges and that my membership has been canceled... I guess I will see in 10-14 days when they said the refund would post
I REQUESTED TO HAVE MY MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED AND IT WAS NOT. I WAS TOLD IT WAS ON FREEZE. I DO NOT FEEL THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO COME TO THE FACILITY, SINCE WE HAVE COVID-19 TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. PLUS I WAS CHARGE AN ANNUAL FEE AND I AM NOT USING THE FACILITY. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
They kept changing my friend membership fees while everything was closed due to Corona. Then they give you the run around when trying to cancel your membership.
For all the right reasons the gym remains closed in these unprecedented times, BUT STOP CHARGING people their hard earned money and/or those of us that have ceased to have income while you are not operational.
Pursuant to other complaints, the system ropes you in circles to contact them by email or the corporate number only to get re-routed to your local facility and be disconnected. Further emails achieve an automated response that still goes without further attention.
Unethical, unresponsive, and due for another class-action lawsuit from those of us that are not in the business of donating to a business that does not live up to its end of the contract and/or attempts to cancel such.
They're crooks! They charged my credit card even that they were/still closed. Last month (may 2020) they charged me twice, their phone customer service is a joke nobody take the call and the automatic system hang up on you, they deleted all the comments I posted in their Facebook page and blocked me so I can't post more comments asking about why they charged my cc... do yourself a favor pay a little bit more and join a different gym.
Answer: Youfit rips people off. I've been consistently charged $21 to my account despite the company's closure as a result of Covid. All attempts to cancel my subscription was ignored and not considered. If this is not fraud, then I don't know what it is.
Answer: I chose this company because after viewing the things I the site i really liked what they had to offer now i wish i had not ordered from them
Answer: Awful! I was told there is no customer service number, to put in a complaint to!
