I recently booked a bus ticket through Yatra.com, hoping for a smooth journey. However, my experience turned into a nightmare due to a series of unfortunate events that unfolded during the trip.
The problems began when the bus operator changed three times without prior notice. The final change was communicated a mere hour before the scheduled departure, causing unnecessary confusion and inconvenience.
During the journey, the bus collided with another vehicle, resulting in significant delays and leaving passengers stranded on the highway for an excruciating five hours. To exacerbate matters, this ordeal occurred during the scorching summer heat, with no basic amenities provided. There was no water, no alternative buses offered, and the lack of security heightened concerns about the safety and well-being of passengers.
Following the accident, the bus operator displayed a shocking lack of empathy and responsibility. Their dismissive attitude towards passengers was appalling. When asked for information about when help might arrive or what alternatives were available, their response was callous and unhelpful. They simply stated, "We don't know you. Wait if you want, or leave. We don't care."

Refund Request to Yatra.com:
Understandably, after enduring such a harrowing experience, we sought a refund from Yatra.com. However, our request was summarily denied. Yatra.com cited the completion of the journey, albeit over 12 hours late, as their reason for refusal to issue a refund.

Conclusion:
This entire incident has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided by both the bus operator and Yatra.com. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for passenger welfare displayed by both parties is utterly unacceptable.

Final Thoughts:
I urge potential travelers to exercise caution when booking through Yatra.com, especially considering the unpredictable and distressing experience I encountered. Such incidents not only disrupt travel plans but also jeopardize the safety and comfort of passengers.

In conclusion, my experience underscores the importance of reliable customer service and responsible handling of unforeseen circumstances by travel operators and booking platforms alike.

Booked Udman Hotel Greater Noida for two weeks, breakfast included. Yatra.com charged me 50,000 rupees and hotel refuses to include breakfast. Typical "Bait and Switch" tactic by Yatra.com and their partners

One of worst customer service. Yatra says full refund on cancellation and when you cancel, they deduct hidden charges.I made hotel booking 2 weeks back and with full refund promise till 2 days.I cancelled booking 1 week back and they deducted cancellation charges.Cancellation charges was not mentioned anywhere when I booked.Very unprofessional service.

Useless News Letters just wont stop. Even tried unsubscribing and blockig them, but they somehow still manage to come back with useless ads.

I requested Yatra to reschedule my ticket lots of times. However, their service is really slow and staff is unprofessional. I tried to call lots of times, but there's no response from their side. Horrible service.

After making payment they will not assign the room and inturn they will not refund the payment simply telling the stories.

I bought 8 (Rs 1000) Vouchers against my credit card points. These points are as good as cash. When I tried to make a airlines booking of Rs ******* total amount, the app didn't allow me to use all the Vouchers. It only allowed me use one voucher of Rs 1000. On top of that, if one intents to use this voucher, hen one cannot use the promo codes with in the app. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. WHATS THE USE OF USING ONE VOUCHER OF RS 1000, RS 800 TO RS 900 DISCOUNT ONE CAN GET USING THE PROMO CODES. IT means my voucher money is completely wasted. In the similar apps like MMT or Cleartrip one is allowed to use multiple Vouchers in one booking. But here allowing to use only one voucher is ridiculous. I FEEL HOODWINKED AND CHEATED. Avoid

A platform that cancels your flight and blames it on the airline while the customer is clueless of the whole situation. Never book through http://Yatra.com because they are not genuine.

Worst service received *******@Yatra.com during our family trip to Kashmir (YH*******) last week 30/04/2023 to 06/05/2023.

1. Details of driver was not provided on time. After continuous follow ups we were able to get the same at night.

2. Emergency contacts are not responding at any time. If emergency contact number is not picking a call, then how it will be helpful in any emergency! After several requests on call & emails we had not received any alternate emergency contact information.

3. Due to miscommunication from Yatra.com with Houseboat at Shrinagar, we had spoiled our 2 hours with my family under scorching heat along with my 2 year's old daughter.

4. Car's glass is in broken condition throughout journey.

*Food quality issues:
We had dinner, in which very low quality of tawa roti served. After couple of requests, the quality of roti was highly poor. It's too much hard, hence we were not able to cut it. In Paneer sabji, paneer was so hard (not fresh). Cucumber in salad was bitter in taste.
In breakfast, food quality is not good. As per Hotel's manager they will going to serve Cut fruits, aloo paratha, upma, juice, bread butter & tea-coffee. But, today there is only poha (highly oily & without salt) & bread butter (not good quality) nothing else.
Tea & Milk were not served hot.

*Unhygienic dining hall:
Overall condition of dining hall & food arrangements were unhygienic. Poor cleanliness, unclean table, 2 of the chairs were not safe to sit (one may fall anytime due to loose joints), un even floor surface of steps in dining hall etc.

*Power cut issues:
More than 7 times power cutoffs within 10 hours. In night, our both rooms heater and bed sheet heater does not work in such a cold condition. Hence, we were not able to sleep due to heavy cold. Our both room's geyser not working, so we were not able to take proper bath in such cold.

6. WiFi was not in working condition at Hotel Welcome, Gulmarg &@Hotel Himalayan Discover Resort, Pahalgam.

7. Geyser is not able to heat water *******@Hotel Himalayan Discover Resort.

Considering above observations, It shows Yatra.com is only interested in taking bookings & money not in service to their "So called valuable customers".

They don't have a basic thing which is responsive customer care. Terrible guys, or maybe bots, because no one, I assure you, there is no one who you can ever reach out on call. There is no real person you can speak with, just back and forth same repetitive emails but no place you can speak about your concern to in person.
Incident: I booked an Air India flight through Yatra.com last week on 9th of Jan 2023, and on very next day morning realized as my date of journey is on 14th, August 2023 and by mistake I booked for 15th August 2023 flight and tried rescheduling options online but of no use.
As Yatra.com won't allow you to reschedule online on your own and after that I tried reaching out to Yatra customer support on call but no response for initial 2 days and that forced me to reach out to them through mail. Mean time I was able to connect to Yatra customer service through call and they gave an Air India customer service number to reschedule saying that only they can help you in this case, and same reply got from the Air India customer service saying that only Yatra customer service can help you in this matter, both Yatra and Air India customers service wasted my time and entire rescheduling process took almost 7 days after paying INR *******/ for rescheduling charges when the date of journey is 8 months from now and entire flight seats are vacant.
Both Yatra and Air India are okay to reschedule my return journey flight without any extra charges which was not required in my case but not the same case with onward journey. Very unprofessional booking agency and their operators and policies. They do business in a rude and one-sided way, Very bad experience, Pathetic, worst service. They simply try to loot your hard-earned money and waste your time. Never ever recommended to anyone.

They are the worst website i have ever encountered. I dont want to give them even a single star... They dont refund in the time frame.
Take 2-3 months and even after fighting a lot we get our money back. Airlines refund withing 2-3 weeks but they take a lot more time to pay us back as if they paying from their pocket. Dont book from here

I am S N Panigrahi. I have booked Online, Bina Resort through Yatra.com for stay from 23rd to 26th June 2022 at Nainital by paying Rs. *******/-(Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Seven only) - Booking Reference Number ************** and hotel Confirmation Number YAT*******923 for Stay in Nainital. However, We Couldn't Trace out the Hotel – The Address Provided by Yatra.com is Not Complete & Incorrect. The Contact Details Provided are Not Working. Even Yatra.com Customer Support was also Not Responded. This Looks like a Clear Fraud Case. As a Result, Entire Purpose of Tour Travel Disturbed and all the Amounts Spend for the Purpose is Wasted and created Great Inconvenience and Mental Agony.

Yatra.com Looks Like a Fraud & Cheating Company - Not Reliable - Should be Avoided

We booked some flights via yatra.com at the beginning of 2020 before pandemic had started. Unfortunately, after pandemic was hit in India, they cancelled all the flights. We called several times and not one time they were helpful. Neither did we get our refund nor any compensation. It has been more than 2 years now and still did not get any refund for our tickets. I don't know how many times we have to call them to get our refund. I am tired of this! Will never book with them again

Never book holidays with Yatra package, they provide cheap hotels, worst food and no coordianiation and communication.

Reschedule to booked ticket doing fraud by YATRA customer service.
Very very very poor service and don't book ticket using YATRA.
Purposely they will delay rescheduling and make customers to pay more penalty charges. Always saying Typical answers always from them call back you in 24 hours. Is this the right way of handling customers?

I booked flight from Yatra platform in Student quota so that I could get 25kgs for my luggage (I was moving to new city) but Yatra provided 15kgs only. They charged extra money for student quota but didn't provide the facility. I emailed them with my concern to which they responded 'they will get back with solution within 48-72 hours'. However, this never happened! I mailed them again saying 72 hours are over and I didn't receive any response or solution yet… to which I didn't receive a single reply until today. Very disappointing! I would recommend everyone not to book flight tickets via Yatra platform.

They dont have a basic thing which is customer care.

I am struggling to connect with them since 2 days. Their portal has problem which picks/change the dates automatically. I tried rescheduling the booking but it asks for 100% payment whereas Airlines can change is it without any Penalty or extra charges.

But Airlndia also do not help if you book from a third party.

So my money is stuck and no support from Yatra.
