I booked a flight ticket from Ranchi to banaglore from yatra.com and because their browser got frozen after I entered credit card I had to redo the whole thing again and now I have 2 bookings and I am trying to cancel one because of their browser error but they are charging huge amount for cancellation. I keep emailing them and they never bother to call me and charging almost 30% for cancellation of a booking that happened due to their browser error. My booking reference Number is **************.
Ive booked 4 tickets and did a change in flight through the web site. They did not pay any refund... we paid twice. They are real cheaters.

When I was booking the tour the girl who was assisting me said we are giving you all 3 star and above rated hotels. But out of 4 hotels only one was a one hotel was 3 star or above, one was okay and rest 2 were very shady. I called my coordinator to complain about the hotel, to my utter surprise the dint Even knew what actually a hotel rating is.
My advice - don't go by there words check each and every hotel thoroughly before payment or before you start your travel.

Please don't book the ticket in yatra site... when you cancelled the ticket they need sign and id so many think for your money back.
When they book the ticket in a minute they cut the payment but refund money send back to our credit card not easily they give.

A group of 14 seniors in age range 55 to 84 consisting of 6 ladies 8 gents booked to travel to BHUTAN from 27 th May 2019 till 2nd june on a 6N /7D trip from Gurgaon in India. Initially we were shown choices of reasonably good hotels in 3 cities beginning with THIMPU on wards to PUNAKHA & PARO. In each city we were to spend 2 N in 3 star hotels. Each hotel suggested by Yatra.com had satisfactory Trip Advisor ratings varying from 3.5 to 4.5.We agreed & paid on schedule. However during period of payments schedule Yatra.com kept suggesting different hotels but with reasonable TA ratings.We agreed trusting a large company with experience in travel business to take care of clients, in senior age group. THAT WAS OUR BIGGEST MISTAKE & we did not check reviews of Yatra, com
Till 1 night before departure Yatra failed to furnish a confirmed hotel bookings in any of 3 cities.On reaching Paro airport we were met with a local english speaking guide who told us that we were booked in Hotel Lhayul & bus took us there.Our trip to Thimpu was fine except that we were told that hotels in Punakha & Paro were not yet confirmed.
We were also told by local vendor a lady named named JYOTI that she has been given our assignment only 3 days ago as YATRA had cancelled arrangements with regular vendor. She also specifically mentioned that she has not been paid any advance though we had fully paid Yatra. She also mentioned that she has borrowed money from her father to take care of our travels.We were shocked to hear her sob story but were helpless in a foreign country. After a comfortable stay in Thimpu & while driving to Punakha all hell broke as not knowing where we were booked.
During the drive to Punakha our local guide was continuously in touch with JYOTI who kept promising to find a good hotel in Punakha. Finally we checked into a new 2 star hotel named SONADAEM ZINGKHA in a rundown neighbourhood.The hotel rooms did not have any almirah etc moreover it was only for 1 night
We had to check out again next morning & were supposed to go for sight seeing but our group decided to go & check into a hotel as the lady kept promising to find a better hotel suitable for seniors but we were absolutely disappointed & disgusted by the careless, unprofessional attitude of Yatra.com. Finally she found a hotel on top of a hotel where we checked in but the group was already tired & FED up that we decided not to go anywhere else
On checkout & travelling to Paro not knowing the hotel booked for us we were told to kill time in town as local vendor was still searching for rooms. All the time she kept promising to find better hotels & upgrading us at her own cost. She kept on repeating that Yatra has given her our assignment only 3 days ago
She finally found a hotel, the owner has decided to call itself a boutique hotel without understanding definition of boutique. Even Yatra. Com does not understand basic quality of such a hotel. This particular hotel is in a market in a congested lane similar to Paharganj in Delhi. View from most rooms was that of hanging clothes of servants of other hotels. Sad to tell in such details about Yatra & all along the local lady kept saying she is worried about her payments from Yatra
We were made to checkout again next day & taken to another hotel in Paro & all the time local lady kept requesting to bear with patience.
Summarising we were made to stay in 5 hotels instead of 3 as agreed. Wasted 3-4 hours in check out/check in, packing & unpacking every day after Thimpu.The lady & yatra thinks that they have obliged us but the sad fact is we had NO CHOICE in a foreign country & decided to behave well with local vendor but the group of senior citizens have decided not to EVER recommend Yatra. Com to anyone.
We are a group of highly educated, well travelled people & yatra letting us down will not serve them well.

Yatra Booking #YH*******. When booked for Sikkim trip they sent for all 3 hotels and charged me 1, 35, 500 for 5 people for 8N/9D. In this 4 hotels in 4 different places including 2D/2N in DarjelingBut all the hotels in Sikkim are simple non-star hotels(like OYO normal hotels in Metros and costs around INR 1000). When
I asked the first day to change, they said it is not possible to change
Because the hotels will not refund, hence requested to me to use those

I found the the hotel rooms cost is max of INR 2500 per night per
Room(I booked 2 rooms in all 4 hotels) not INR 6000 per room per night
For 6N/7D stay 3 hotels and the 4th Hotel was 3, hence I asked them
To refund the amount of 7000(3500 X 2) per day for 6 Days equal to INR

Give you INR 3000 refund and INR 2000 in Yatra wallet. They

We are really disappointed with their services for international holidays.We are experiencing the 100% cancellation charges for package.
My Reference number is YH*******. The day I booked the trip, problems started occuring from that day itself. I was promised 3 Cottages and later they changed it to 2 cottages and 1 standard AC room, even without asking me. The day when I was supposed to leave for the trip, the Traveller came 1 hour late and then the driver informed me that we've to change the Traveller in Mysore. Because of that he drove so slow that we reached Mysore in 3 hours from Bangalore. Later he made us stop in many locations in Mysore saying that the new Traveller is going to come here. Yatra wasn't responding properly at that time and they made me talk to the vendor of the Traveller, which was of no use. The new Traveller was also not in a proper condition. The AC water was leaking continuously. I called the resort (that Yatra booked for me) to confirm for the food, they didn't respond properly and gave me some other number and that 'other number' never picked up. The resort's name is Jungle Camp Backwater Resort, Coorg. I reached Coorg in almost 10 hours, which is a 7 hours journey (maximum) from Bangalore. Don't you dare ask Yatra about their head's number or the manager's number, because they won't give. I hope my further journey goes well because it's my father's 50th Birthday and I don't want to spoil it.
Yatra.com (http://Yatra.com) provides worst service. Never book any service from them they will cheat u at each and every step. I booked a trip fr Ladakh for Rs. *******, they sent me with different cabs like begger so that there was someone to adjust me. They even destroyed my laptop because of mishandling and all they said was sorry. They wasted my money and time.
yatra.com is the worst to book accomodation. We cancelled the the room on 1/4 which we are supposed to check in on 3/4. The whole amount was forfeited mentioning as cancellation charges. It is sheer cheating and fraud.
This travel site will be helpful and packages also reasonable prices. Its very useful. Better to choose this website and also accomidation details also giving.

I am a first time user of yatra and would like to highlight the horrible experience before the trip starts.
I am planning a visit to andaman with my family from 18th Dec to 23rd of Dec 2017 and had contacted yatra for travel plan which includes everthng from Flight to hotel.
My flights are changed without prior initimation from Direct flights to the connected flights which increase my travel time.
Also, they amend the travel itinerary as well which showcase the most unorganized and unprofessional company. Now, Yatra is not canceling the booking now saying that this is a non refundable booking
What are the options available with me? My bookin I'd with yatra is YYH*******.
I have mailing and calling yatra office from past 2 weeks to correct it. Please do not ever use yatra.com they are the most horrible company.

We booked for a group of 16 through TSI Yatra.com. They said tickets were confirmed but when we went to the airport the airlines said tickets are waitlisted. We had a big confusion and stress with children and Kids. We struggled for almost 8 hours and finally got tickets in Indigo and travelled back. The process of getting the tickets in Indigo made us go through a lot of struggles, with no cash in hand. Paid some with credit card, remaining by exchanging the left Dollars, withdrawn money using CC etc. This was the worst experience we had in all of my travel experience.

Yatra website has an offer in place, where you can get ECASH points on the bookings that you make. This ecash ( as they say) can be used to pay for your next flights. I booked an international flight using yatra and got around 4500 ecash as part of my transaction. Next time I go to book a domestic flight and try to use that ecash; surprise; I can't use all of my ecash; but just a part of it. This is just a flawed system and will leave you cheated. Please read all the details carefully about ecash discounts (if you can find them) before booking.
