Terrible! They damaged $3,600 worth of parts (no labor) on 2 outboard motors. Pictures and proof of no damage BEFORE the engine crates were picked up. Both steel engine crates were damaged in their possession and damage to the motors themselves. Damage was acknowledged by the driver in writing and pictures BEFORE the motors were removed from the truck.
Claim filed and took almost 4 months to get a response. XPO offered to pay $137.50. These people are hacks! No responsibility in their terrible service. Incapable and incompetent!
I really want to give XPO the most negative star I could as their service is so derated and I am amazed somebody in this forum gave them 5 stars. I see they have over 5000+ negative comments and that is accumulating more as every day pass by. This logistics company is unfit for any kind of customer service even the least if they can do is beyond their scope. The vendors use them, because their quotes are cheap and I don't think those cheap rates are passed on to the end user. Never never use XPO. Will result in grief that much I can say for sure.
Who ever your driver was coming out of west virginia into virginia at 920 pm 10-23-2024. Is a idiot. Came through a crowded rest area running 45 mph. I get it that schedules are tight.but people's lives matter more.think it's time for safety meeting.
Delivery time was fantastic, my doors arrived at the depot and went out the same day to my house. Their customer service professional Tracy helped me twice by phone was courteous, professional, very friendly, this was the best interaction I have ever had with any corporate customer service. My driver Terrell was also fantastic, an excellent driver and very helpful.
I seem to have had a far better experience than most reviewers so I imagine for larger items their semi drivers are probably much better.
This delivery was a 'customer offload' for which I was equipped, but still Terrell gave me a lot of help.
Stay away from this company, three weeks of my package sitting on a loading dock without any effort by them to get cleared. I did the work for there mistake got it cleared then they didn't ship it on there two next trucks because it took up to much space.
I think they need to fire a few of staff in the service department….when I called for pickup they said something not sure things still no pickup today at 6:00pm
Driver parked in the middle of a residential neighborhood street blocking all the home and bus routes. He takes 1 package off of truck and starts to have a personal conversation with customers. I'm asking for him to move truck over to customer driveway he tells me no and so what not his problem and he doesn't care. I had to call PD just to get him to move out the middle of the road. I would never use this company due to customer service
The customer service is terrible. Company change delivery days multiple times. They brought half the order and ruined a planned vacation. If you purchase is time sensitive use another company. They did not even try to correct their mistake. Item was sent back due to having to purchase another because they would not keep their word.
Ordered an item from Costco. Delivery included delivery to any room in house on ground floor. Delivery person claims that a 1 story house has two floors and left item in garage. Do not use ever. Also damaged front lawn while driving away in a hurry.

I ordered a refrigerator directly from the Samsung website. XPO attempted to deliver my refrigerator and said my doorway entrance was too small. He told me the measurements for what size fridge would fit through my doorway. I ordered a smaller refrigerator within the measurements he told me and for the next delivery I get a different crew for delivery. They tell me that the second one will not fit either. Mind you, the second fridge is smaller than the one currently in my house and the doorway hasn't changed at all. The measurements they were showing me on the paper for the fridge were different than the ones listed on the website. They didn't even make an attempt. They're lazy and just didn't want to do the job. Needless to say, I will be going with another company who does not use XPO logistics for delivery. Never buy directly from Samsung…XPO logistics is terrible
We have purchased multiple appliances through Lowes. This is the shipper they use. They rescheduled, no showed and showed up late with products that they damaged. The delivery guys were rude and messy. I spoke with the manager at Lowe's and he acknowledged how poor the shipper is and stated "They are contracted" saying that the receive conplaints all of the time. I am goin on stop purchasing through Lowes and go back to a small, local appliance company.
I would give less than 0 stars if I could. Every time I have to deal with the company I can expect them to ruin my day and mental health. Their entire leadership team should be fired and never allowed to lead another organization. They are inefficient, non-communicative, unreliable, and don't put customers first. My most recent experience was with trying to get sauna stones delivered. 4 boxes - 100lbs. It says out for delivery today at 9am. 5pm rolls by and I check the tracking ID and it says "awaiting scheduling with customer" YOU are waiting on ME? The schedule was set 2 days ago for today. I call…."our driver broke their foot and needed to return." Now - I already don't trust them because my last interaction took over a week and 3 separate scheduling to complete my delivery and now they're saying their driver broke their foot but no one called, it just updated their system to read that I was the hold up. I don't understand this company and I wish they would just go bankrupt and fold already. They're like the friend in FedEx and UPS's crew that is only there to make them look good and who isn't respected at all.
Twice this company has failed to deliver shipments to me. They offer absolutely no help and push the blame off on the shipper. I know if I failed to deliver a load when I was driving I would have been fired! This company is a joke! Do yourself and your customers a favor and just don't use them!
At least these guys delivered the product 99% of the way. Dumped it off at the end of our lane in a cul-de-sac because driver was too lazy to hunt for "R" on the shift lever, I guess. Actually the claim was it was too difficult to back down the lane with a semi—except it wasn't a semi. It was about the same size as a moving truck. About the same size as the moving truck my 25-year-old, never-driven-a-truck-in-her-life daughter had zero problem backing down the lane the day she helped us move into our house.
Very unprofessional, held me up over 2 weeks giving me start dates then holding off! Never got hired, a $#*!ty company, I got names also to watch out for if you already applied to this devel company, Dustin in recruiting and Cheyenne in talent acquisition. Horrible. Go to hell Xpo for disqualifying me.
I had ordered a Samsung product and this company is handling the shipment of it. The delivery date is given after 2 months. Even though I had multiple calls to reschedule but nothing is happening. Their customer service is pathetic. Do not use this shipping company. They are completely incompetent. I have spoken to several "Resolution Specialist" who have been completely ineffective answering any question or resolving any issue. And too many lies. One of the support member said within 24 hrs someone from local hub would call and make delivery arrangement but that time didn't come at all. They just apologize and do nothing. Just be aware of these guys.
This company is the worst to work for. Plus work u like a dog. Don't file for unemployment benefits. Because you will get denied. This owner of the company only wants money for himself. He doesn't care about the employees.
I bought a hot tub cover it was shipped quickly. The carrier XPO called me on a wednesday and said it would be delivered on Thursday the next day. Well Thursday came and went and no package called XPO they said it didnt get on delivery truck they would send it Friday well guess what Friday came and went and no delivery. Called them back they said it would be delived on Monday i told them it would have to be after 2pm she said ok. Monday came and went and no package. Now i am pissed off and call again after being out on hold the person came back and said not sure what happened. They would deliver on wednesday i said ok but has to be after 2pm as i work and need to check for danage and you cant just leave it at that point the person on the other end said i cant guarantee that. Ii said seriously at that point the person at XPO just hung up on me.
So i called the shipper and told them everything and they said they would get with shipping company. XPO aka Ltl freight sucks thay are worse than USPS never thought that would be possible
Deserves a zero rating. We have used XPO several times for our LTL routes. Today, we have exhausted our patience with this company. When receiving goods, they don't strap the cargo down. This has happened 3 times. When we asked the driver, we got a nasty response. Unbelievable! Today our driver showed-up at our loading dock and his truck was nowhere to be seen. He informed us that he would not pull his truck to our loading bay because he did not want to back it in (just did want to do it). His name was Pete and got really nasty when we questioned why he would not bring his truck to our location. This was again unbelievable. The drivers are among the most nasty people I have ever met. We do 10 shipment per month and have never experienced anything like this. Forget about customer service, they just don't seem to care. We will never use this company again.
Answer: I believe XPO has a good dog and pony show for Sam's Club, Amazon, and others it convinces to use it as a delivery service. They show their technology and automated emails and text messages, their well-staffed 800 number service, and that is how they bring business in the door. But they have little control over the local delivery hubs, they do not care about bad service, and they will not make good on delivery promises or fix a problem when it arises. In the end, for me and my experience, they are more of a scam than an honest business. An honest delivery business in possession of a washing machine I purchased would deliver it to me or allow me to pick it up if they could not fulfill their delivery promise - but instead, they go silent and act like they have no obligation to make the delivery. They do not even try to provide me with another fake delivery promise.
Answer: I had no choice in the matter. Costco.com foolishly selected them and then failed to follow-up and monitor the progress of the RXO Last Mile delivery fulfillment of their role. So Costco.com is at fault for selecting a bad service provider. In fact, XPO and RXO might be a scam business for all I know …
Answer: Actually, it appears to be a scam operating as a delivery service (could it be a way to hire ex-cons and allow them to case the houses where they are making deliveries? That's a possible explanation of why they are failing so many customers…).
