The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from issues related to product availability, quality, and inadequate customer service. Many customers report receiving incorrect or defective items, along with challenges in obtaining refunds or support. While some positive experiences highlight good deals and prompt responses to issues, these are overshadowed by a pervasive sentiment of frustration over communication lapses and perceived dishonesty. Overall, the feedback indicates a need for improved transparency, better inventory management, and a more reliable customer service approach to restore trust and enhance customer satisfaction.

Firstly, the item is defective in the sense that it doesn't even match the product picture. It's just a different sweatshirt
I have been an Amazon Prime member for many years. When I learned that Woot was an Amazon company, I decided to give them a try. Boy, was that a mistake! Amazon, as far as I'm concerned, has the best customer service in the world. Woot, on the other hand, definitely has the worst. If you can get a response from Woot, it is usually a canned response straight out of some manual. Otherwise, it's nonsensical gibberish that doesn't make any sense.
Besides the pathetic Customer Service, Woot must have the slowest shipping of any company doing mail order business on this planet.
I've ordered some supposedly Apple chargers for my iPads. I ordered them a week ago and finally got an estimated shipping date of three weeks from now. Four weeks to ship iPad chargers is ludicrous.
I can guarantee that I will never order anything from Woot again.
Also, I am going to contact Amazon and let them know that if they are going to have a subsidiary company that that company should be held to the same standards as the parent company.
Anyway, bottom line... don't buy anything from Woot!
Ordered an iPhone received confirmation of the sale. Logged in acct to check status of order (shipping info), now order is showing denied. Woot says my bank would not authorize after multiple attempts. Bank says Woot never attempted to charge for the purchase. You can only email this company & it takes about 24 hrs to get a response back. Not impressed.
I ordered a Ring stick up cam on August 24th. Woot confirmed the sale and gave me a delivery date. Based on this I ordered and received the Ring Solar panel from Amazon. The day after Woot's delivery date - 11 days after my purchase confirmation - they send me a notice the camera was never shipped. Now I have to repackage and ship the Ring Solar panel back to Amazon - which owns Woot!
Buy at your own risk. Misleading descriptions on products. Very low quality, you definitely get what you pay for, and then to top it all off, customer service is a joke, completely useless.
I wanted to get a cheap high-end computer because a new one would cost me an arm and a leg. I am a gamer and we all know how a gaming laptop costs much. I managed to get one from them for a very cheap price. It works just fine and I am glad.
Due to COVID (our office being closed), we were not able us use or test the refurbished computer we purchased from Woot. When we got back in the office, we tried to start it and literally nothing happened. I did not ask for a refund, just a comparable replacement. Most companies are understanding during this pandemic, I guess Woot doesn't care. I will be sure to share my feels about Woot whenever I get a chance.
Horrible. A company owned by Amazon. Purchased a HP Deskjet 2600 All in one printer from "Woot One Day SALE" for $39.99 plus shipping. After I ordered it I was looking at tracking my package and stumbled across the SAME printer at Amazon for $24 Free Shipping. Never Again!
I purchased Cowin E7 Pro headphones on Woot on 11/26/2018. The product has 12 month manufacturer warranty. The headphones volume control started to malfunction recently. I wrote to the manufacturer on Friday, 8/24/19. They immediately replied and pithing a few hours told me that since I bought the product from a 3rd party I have to ask them for replacement. I wrote to Woot on Saturday, 8/25/19, and their reply was: "We're sorry, but it has been more than 270 days since you purchased the product, which means that the window on our 30-day return policy has closed." When I wrote back with the manufacturer reply they answered: "We're sorry that we haven't been able to address your concerns.
We understand that this situation has been frustrating but, unfortunately, we won't be able to offer any additional help with this matter.". So basically - the manufacturer warranty is superseded by Woot's 30 day return policy and any malfunction after that - you are out of luck!
In these times, when online companies have to pay attention to their customer service, Woot is so bad that I use their customer service is the reason why Amazon is the only place to shop these days.
Woot sells awful products at great prices.
And you can further torture yourself by trying to get help from their customer service. I bought something from them. After exchanging a few emails with their customer service about the order, it dawned on me - these guys don't care. They got my money and it is not coming back, no matter what. So why waste more time on this. I cut my losses and learnt the hard way about this company.
My order preparing for shipment and 2-3 hours after purchase my order has been denied, why? Thanks for helping
Ordered a $270 set of security cameras. Received a $5 dog vest! Woot then made me jump through hoops to send them the $5 dog vest back, meanwhile they have charged my credit card $270. No apologies, just business as usual for Woot. Still waiting for a refund but I will not be a bit surprised if they attempt to steal my money. Also another strike against Amazon for owning a SCAM company. STAY AWAY!
I purchased a laptop and Windows 10 Pro. The laptop works fine except the Widows is an unauthorized version - not supplied with the Windows Key and can't be activated.
Called 3 times and emailed multiple times. They aren't providing the Windows Key and won't refund now that I'm passed 90 days.
*****Buyer be ware! Don't support this company*****
Beware with Woot they are being investigated! They have been trying to make purchases under my amazon acct and having it shipped to Miami Florida! I have been dealing with amazon for a few weeks now regarding this. I now have to do a police report!
Ordered a refurbed HP 17.3 touchscreen notebook back in November for my daughter. When received, set it aside waiting for her visit. She's here now & when we started setting it up I realized I was sent a 15.6 notebook with no touchscreen! When I called, customer service rep snottily asked why I waited so long to call & there was nothing he could do now. I just wanted some type of credit. Finally he said to send it back & I could get a full refund. Which I guess would be ok, except she's leaving in a couple of days & I don't have time for this. I guess I'll just eat the mistake. I should have opened & inspected right away - my fault. But their customer service was snotty & I will never buy from them again! A $35-$50 dollar credit was all I was looking for!
A bunch of Tardo's that can't figure out how to put the right color and style item in a package and mail it to the paying customer that spent over $200 for 1 item. Such as a refurbished phone 3 yrs old. I got the wrong 1 after realizing it was the regular pixel not the XL keeping the color factor aside not being a huge deal since it was still 128gb but I kept saying it doesnt have the xl features now I know why... it wasnt the xl. So after paying to active the phonewoot offers me $40 off the price of a phone I dont want and a meager $10 off my next purchase! Suck it WOOT! I wont ever buy from u again and now I know the slob kabob bozos owns woot I will not be a Amazon customer either! Eff u both!
I purchased a Video Projector on Monday. By Friday, the status on Woot.com still showed "preparing to ship." I contacted customer service, and they said they would ship the next day. On the following Monday, the status on Woot.com still showed "preparing to ship." I called, then emailed, and received the run-around treatment, and gave me a list of possible measures that "they" would take. All the while, they have my money. Doesn't the vendor usually charge the customer upon shipment of the product? So, I called and emailed again. Each time, they delay 2 more days, for no reason provided. This is not rocket science! Just send the item for which I paid. I even asked to speak with a supervisor, but that did not happen. I do not want something they think is similar. I do not want a possible refund. I do not want to wait any longer. But, that is just what they continue to do. Now, it is the end of the following week, and they insist they are making every effort to "personally" take care of my issue. BEWARE! Avoid Woot.com, unless you want to be disappointed.
Terrible site. Not the best deals at all.Its a cheap knock-off of amazon. I will stay away from them as I swear they are nothing but scammers.
I bought an Apple Macbook 12" 8gb RAM 256Gb with Retina display. But received an old Macbook Air 2015 4 Gb RAM, without Retina. After I sent a message they wrote me that they don't have the same product to change with (actually they had I checked by myself; absolutely the same even every cent). By the way I paid for 2-days shiping. They don't give any garantee that they return me my money. They just stolen my mone, by the way I bought it on my birthday before Christmas and new year! I do hate Woot.com. By the way I don't recomend to buy anytging on Woot.com to anyone.
Answer: Not until you buy something... then you're screwed!
Answer: Only can contact through email. If you are looking to be tortured in return process it is comparable to waterboarding
