The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from issues related to product availability, quality, and inadequate customer service. Many customers report receiving incorrect or defective items, along with challenges in obtaining refunds or support. While some positive experiences highlight good deals and prompt responses to issues, these are overshadowed by a pervasive sentiment of frustration over communication lapses and perceived dishonesty. Overall, the feedback indicates a need for improved transparency, better inventory management, and a more reliable customer service approach to restore trust and enhance customer satisfaction.

I only recently discovered Woot! And have found some really great deals. When items have arrived in unexpected shape, they have responded within a day and made it right. Meanwhile, I have a new rowing machine, weight bench, stationary bike, and a few other things I am thrilled to have, and I spent a LOT less than I would have elsewhere.
Actually no customer support... I got a clipper that doesn't work properly, I was trying to get a customer support. Tried to call, to send email, have them call me back, but nothing. There is nobody on the other side.
I ordered a reconditioned robovac from Woot last month. It came without all the necessary parts. I have reached out to Woot 3 different times and not once have my emails been answered or my request for them to call me through Amazon been returned. This was a fairly (for me) expensive item. No one else sells this missing part. I have looked everywhere. The vacuum is not usable without it so I am out the money and have a useless hunk of metal in my living room. I will not purchase from Woot again.
I haven't had terrible problems with actual purchases, but I have been wary of Woot. I found them selling extremely old and pretty useless Chromebooks on their site way past their expiration dates. More recently, I found that they have a much more restricted return policy than Amazon itself, and also charge postage for returns. Can't say I lost much money with them. Just a few bucks. Nothing more. But I have decided to block Woot and ignore them. Given their return policy and their propensity to dump crud products, it really just takes too many brain cells to figure out if a purchase is a good idea or not.
I wouldn't give them 2 stars except that their brand piggybacks on Amazon, and I think that is somewhat stealthy, bordering on deceptive... despite all the cute monkies.
Lies about shipping from US. Actually shipped from China. Surprised that Amazon associates with such a company. Says you will get product 3-5 days…also a lie. You get a tracking # and see your product sit for a week with no movement. Worst ever. Won't ever order from them again!
There is a crack right where the battery mounts to the bike, which is a Hurley Big Swell but not so swell from woot :(
So, we ordered a GHD machine sometime back in March. We only receive one out of two boxes and then they say sorry we no longer have the item available, in April they say, please ship the box back to us and we will refund OR get a 3rd party to mail you a GHD. It is now May 30th and I've emailed them about 4 times and have not received a package nor a refund! They are fill of crap! If I could give them 0 starts I would!
Do not buy from Woot. I bought an iPhone XR from them and I am unable to use it says phone is lost or stolen when trying to add to my phone account. There is no number to call customer service only email and after emailing they sent me a general email saying to file a claim with UPS when Woot is the company that sent me the unusable iPhone. I am unable to get a refund or return item so now I have a paper weight.I will never buy again total scam
Ordered an "unlocked" phone. It was ANYTHING but unlocked. After spending a few hours identifying the problem (this was a used phone, reconditioned but with an unpaid balance at ATT) I still have yet to hear back from Woot, who guarantees their products. One check of the general information during reconditioning would have found it was not unlocked but since it must have looked ok, it was tossed in the "SELL IT" box and I got stuck with it.
I bought a product that did not work, I returned it, and 3 weeks later I am still trying to get my refund!
I have been a Woot customer since they first started and have generally had a good experience, until now. I bought a heater recently and it came as scheduled but the box was destroyed and the heater did not work. Now came the problem. Have to contact customer service via email and obviously they do not reside in the US. I have been trying to work with them for over a month and keep getting the same canned response. For being an Amazon owned company they didn't get the customer service culture that Amazon has. To be transparent, this is the first time I've had to deal with their customer service in all the years of buying from them. I will probably not continue with them in the future because of their sorry service.
This company is run like 10 high school sophomores are in charge. They try to be so clever at every turn, with puns and innuendoes. Even when addressing problems. I have ordered 8-10 things over the years and had problems with half I'd guess. They aren't above selling used or open box items as new. Take a long time to ship. Take a long time to refund your money. Just hasn't been a good consistent experience for me. I finally unsubscribed from their emails not wanted to be tempted to ever order again from them.
I bought a 12 count of cleaning supplies and sent only one after a month. One bottle for $50. Good luck getting a response from them. They took me for my money.
Woot used to cool. We'd stay up for the new item or shirt. We'd submit designs and discuss on the forums. Now its another dead eye'd front for a massive corp. Large companies love to take what you once loved, kill it, and wear its skin over its own face. $#*! Amazon
Found Woot a few years ago. Initially wasan't bad despite the shipping charges. The we hit a snag and Woot became an aggravation. My son-in-law ordered a laptop for me that I paid for but wanted to save shipping. As it turned out the powercord to the laptop had to major cuts in it. I tried to contact Woot and gave them everything, including the order number, my son-in-law's information etc. This took like 3 emails. Only then they had an issue that the problem wasan;t raised from my son-in-laws email. As they had lot of issues during the holdiays I didn't bother them but this will cost Woot a customer. Oh well...
I recieved a renewed item from Woot that was scratched up and dirty. It also malfunctions. I wanted a replacement but to do so you have to pay the postage. I will never order from them again.
You buy an item from them with a warranty and when they send you a replacement it is a lower end model than what you purchased. I bought a fire stick second generation, that did not work and they replaced it with a first generation, What a crock.
I was lured by Amazon name affiliated and stupid enough to buy a google Pixel 2 from Woot. The box was nice, the phone looked OK. First sign something was wrong it came with the battery completely drained. Again I was stupid enough not to return it right away. The phone worked, just didn't hold charge well. After about six months it died completely. I thought OK, now the battery needs to be replaced. I purchased a new battery and did my best to replace it. Found the phone had been previously opened and something done inside. Cracked screen on the way. With the new battery- the same same story, won't turn on. Thought, maybe the screen is the problem now. Bought new screen, replaced- nothing changed. It's just copletely dead. If you are stupid enough like I am and buy something from them, examine your purchase thoroughly. If anything doesn't look perfect, just return it immediately, don't challenge your luck. Or even better don't even deal with them, because I see other people have trouble returning defective or wrong items.
You are just as likely to get the wrong product or be scammed out of your money. There is absolutely no customer service at this company. If you do reach someone after an hour or longer of wait, they'll just blame someone else and tell you to call them. Two banks, and multiple departments at amazon have pointed the finger at woot. They just don't have anyone willing to help.
Never received my order from March 2022. I sent two emails asking about my purchase. On July 10th I received email that I was refunded. Then I noticed unauthorized purchased attempts from my card. I canceled my card and reported Woot to the BBB.
Answer: Not until you buy something... then you're screwed!
Answer: Only can contact through email. If you are looking to be tortured in return process it is comparable to waterboarding
