I have used this on and off for two years as I personally find it more comfortable to those of it's competitors but with that said, the deception tactics they use are scummy, they mention nothing of a giant watermark if you don't pay for a package and if you eventually do pay for a package, be careful as you are automatically a part of other packages whether you like it or not and it is your responsibility to double check as their refund policy is "it's your fault we charged for a service you didn't even realise existed",
They then so generously offered the option of me continuing to use the added package they forced upon me.
Along with that, despite paying more than 70AUD a year for this software, basic parts are still locked behind paywalls.

With that said, minus the $#*!ty customer support, the (in my opinion) deceptive practices and kinda $#*!ty added paywalls, the software has a very clean and user friendly feel. As long as you are aware of the paywalls and everything else, you will probably be able to do what you need with this.

Sell you something that doesn't work. I tried three different computers and still couldn't connect. Expect me to spend more time for screen prints. I can't screen print.

Always after the fast buck, constant updates, they sell lifetime support and upgrades then discontinue products just to introduce a new one that does the same thing under a different name so you have to re purchase and functionalities of old ones such as image sequence imports magically disapeer. With absolutely no support! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Waste of time and money.

Do not buy this software. The company claims that it is able to repair corrupt Word files. To test the file, you need to purchase the software. By purchasing it, I attempted to repair my corrupt Word file. On opening the "repaired" version by Wondershare Recoverit software, the file had the same problem. So I send the corrupted file to a product support related mailbox. No response from them for several days. I then request a refund. I am answered:

I purchased Filomora on 5/27 quickly decided this software is not for me. Upon trying to cancel less than 6 hours later I'm getting the run around from their customer service..

Don't waste your time—holds you hostage AFTER you design DVD. Must pay to create without a watermark. A dim-witted toddler could design better DVD software.

They tell you it's a free product that you can add on premium features to. Then you go to export your first video and surprise, it is covered by a giant watermark, so you have to pay to get the video you probably just wasted hours on.

THEN they tell you they're including a special effects package you can opt out of.

So I cancel my entire subscription immediately after I export the one video. But surprise, cancelling the effects package is on a totally separate page, and doesn't make itself clearly visible until they've already charged you.

Honestly, the product seems fine if you need a video editing software. But they scammed be out of $100 Canadian. And these business practices are absolutely unacceptable. Probably how they make the bulk of their money.

I am beyond unimpressed, and quite frankly disgusted. Zero stars is what they deserve

I does not tell you you will be billed monthly on auto renew. And when you cancel in time using the convoluted cancel system they don't pay attention, and bill you again. When you chat with customer support you have to aggressively threaten their reputation on the internet and with the credit card companies, before they take any action towards a refund or cancelation.

I've been trying now the 5th attempt and instead of letting me delete the black hole it independently decided to insert, it deleted my entire project, It reached back into my original on my computer and destoryed that one, too. Here is what remains of my hour and five minute event...

If you are looking for a refund goodluck. This company does not issue them. I accidently purchased a package, and within 5 minutes contact support for a refund, they pretty much said tough luck we "follow policy". No refunds. I would not recommend this business for their practices.

Poor Support, attempted to cancel twice. Even though is says its canceled, they still debited the card.

They claim to be free but can't do anything without paying an arm and a leg.
It's illegal to write an entire page top to bottom scrolling 5 times how it's the best out there FOR FREE but none of it is free. CROOKS. Scammers

If you buy "lifetime" license, your software will ask you to upgrade itself every time, anyway. They are releasing new 'major' versions frequently (and oops they're already at version 12, guess why they need so many versions despite they exist from 2015? For a contrast, Adobe are at version 23 and they exist from 1991) in order to void all "perpetual" licenses and force everyone to purchase it again. Software demands upgrade, you install the "upgrade", software becomes unusable (watermark again, like you're in trial mode) and asks to buy itself again. It'll happen every year few times a year, so do yourself a favor and don't fall for it =)

Had problems installing software and after search EVERY where for a phone number emailed them. They emailed me there solution which didn't work. So next time I emailed that if we couldn't fix it refund me the $$$$ Of course they then emailed me there refund policy (which you can only get a refund if Nuclear War) along with same fix
Last email was for me to take screen shots and email them WHO HAS TIME FOR THIS CRAP?

Added a *.CR3 (Canon RAW format) file to get a jpg in three different sizes... This made me ask for a refund. Customer service without knowing the program, sent a mail with a picture to save it (can you chose the formats?). Then another mail asking for screenshots… The program does not really what they let understand and the customer service is useless.

It does not work at all, requested a refund the same day I bought to be told need evidence, just overall awful company and software to scam people out of money

I've cancelled my membership multiple times, they keep billing my card! It's literally a scam - there's no way to directly contact anyone. The chat either says it's unavailable or it's a bot. The phone line doesn't work, so you can only complain through their the email bit but no one gets back to you.

It was promised that auto renewal can be stopped before the month is over. I bought it on 2-Apr and again renewal was charged on 10-Apr... Absolutely useless Support centre. No one to help to get the justification or any help. DOn't buy this.
