Fishy, trying to scam people. Was promised a 7 day trial but was charged immediately. No refund granted whatsoever. Scammers.

I signed up to use the software called Wondershare UniConverter 14 for Windows PERPETUALPLAN, App Access. This was a black Friday special and was a one-time fee for unlimited use of the software. I needed this software because it allowed me to remove backgrounds from images I had to edit. This software seemed nice, so I decided to give it a try since I had a lot of images to edit. After I paid, I was granted access to use this software, but it turns out I was not able to use the software unless I paid an additional fee per image of around $0.10 to use this software, this is after I already paid $60.94
This is false advertising, when I signed up it said I would have unlimited access to the software but that is not the case. I had to pay over $60 then pay more to use the software. So, I basically received nothing for the money I spent other then being scammed. I did not use the software at all and will not use this because I do not want to spend additional money when I was told I was already paid. I contacted the merchant, and they told me to bad they will not issue me a refund even though I received nothing and was unable to use their product.

Wow I desperately wish I would of researched this company and would of come across all the negative reviews before wasting my time and money with one of the worst companies I have dealt with.

Their website and description as well as advertising showing they do a free trial period like most reputable companies leads you into them taking your money for additional products not even described and then blaming you for misinterpreting false advertising. On top of it their software crashes and is very glitchy.

Their customer service is even more despicable, they refuse to take any ownership of wrong doing and provide no customer resolution. After working in customer service for over 15 years and owning a business I could not believe that there are companies still like this. Would give this company 0 starts if I could.

Stay away! I've come across more than 100 reviews extremely similar to mine. Working with PayPal dispute center as well as reporting this business to many sites.

This is a horrible company. I purchased a one-time fee licence for PDFElement. I purchased the pro version and had editing capabilities. THEY decided to create an update and eliminated my upgraded capabilities unless I purchased their new version. They are deceitful and a scam. You cannot get ahold of anyone. They say 24-hour support - there's no such thing. I've attempted putting in a support ticket and this is what happens: 1) I tried chat (24-hours) - not true. Chat bot gives me a support link to log my issue & promises a 24 hour response. Go to the link & it reverts you to an unusable page. You are NOT able to log a ticket. Then I tried their 24-hour phone number. Not true. When you call (and I've called at various days/times) it says no one is available & to call back later - not even a way to record your message. Next, I tried their support email, it gives an auto reply to log into their support desk (the one that doesn't work). They are scammy! Do not purchase any of their products. HORRIBLE.

Wondershare is glitchy and does not perform as advertised. They will not refund your money. Stay away. Burning to a CD and the program says it is complete, but there is nothing on the CD. They cannot explain why.

I purchased Wondershare video convertor with the confirmation that this was a perpetual license but now the program no longer works and to update the software I have to pay again! I can't even use the "perpetual" program I purchased. Beware of this scam.

I'm finding out more and more that if you want customer service, you yourself will have to do all of the work... sending many emails and screenshots. You basically have to do the bulk of the work. It's tedious and it takes time. The Wondershare software did not work and they refused to give a refund because, according to them, there is not defect with their product. Long gone are the days of good phone communication... you call and talk to a good English speaking individual and they help you solve the problem. Don't waste your time and money with this product unless you enjoy back and forth emails that take forever to solve your problem. My money went down the toilet and they got richer.

You can't actually cancel online. It doesn't advance beyond step 1 of 4. They are currently playing the.game of let's just not answer and see if she goes away on the "chat".

I don't typically write reviews (negative or positive) on items that I purchase, but I am so angry about my customer service experience with Wondershare that I feel compelled to write this.
I purchased the wondershare EdrawMax ($99.00/yr) subscription after using the crippleware free version. Only then (after using the paid version) did I find out how bad the product is. I then immediately (within hours of purchase) applied for "30 day money back guarantee and was told that my reason for refund "did not meet the criteria". That is, "just because I thought it was a bad product AND it feel short of my needs in many areas, this did not qualify for a refund".
BUYER BEWARE!

I had to purchase another license for Filmora, (couldn't use my windows license on a Mac) and didn't noticed the free trial tick box for plugins during the purchase process (it is ticked by default)
Few days later I noticed an automatic payment deduction from my PayPal account which I had no idea what it was for. I emailed wondershare asking for a refund and they replied the following: "Regarding your refund request, we're sorry that we won't be able to process a refund. Please be informed that if the user forgot to cancel it timely and payment was finished, we are not able to refund. Instead, we may still refund only when it meets refund circumstances. Here is our refund policy for your reference: https://www.wondershare.com/refund-policy.html.

I've also checked your email address *******@msn.com and found that you already canceled the auto-renewal after the charges happens. Rest assured that you will no longer gonna be charged after the Effects and Plugins subscription expires."

I bought one of their softwares and after some years it started to crash. I asked the support team and they told me that it was no longer supported so I should buy a new LIFETIME license for the newer version... so becareful... lifetime for them means: until you will have to buy another lifetime license

When I first bought the software for decoding DVDs to MP4 it worked great but since then they've had newer versions come out and now my soundtrack is off, I wouldn't recommend the software and it don't work like it used to

Wondershare keeps billing you even if you have cancelled. Cancelling is extremely convoluted and there are no assurances you have effectively and completely severed your commercial relationship. Next month you will check your credit card balance and, there it is, they've taken another 20 bucks just like last month. Do yourself a favor and don´t ever subscribe to Wondershare.

They auto charge you annually. I tried to cancel today, the same day they automatically renewed my subscription and they refused to refund. Not a great company.

Software is crashy and is not able to handle larger files. I asked for the refund within 4 days from the purchase. Need to go through excessive troubleshooting steps to fight for refund. Customer service is terrible and replies with copy pasting responses. Company in breach of regulations on customer refunds in EU/EEA.
Save yourself time and buy different software.

The company are nothing but thieves. DO NOT purchase from them. I bought the pro software and it couldn't even edit tags correctly. After 3 days of "investigating" the issue, i requested a refund which was denied. Subsequent emails just amounted to further obfuscation. Please do yourself a favour and buy from a more reputable source. If this isn't an outright scam, its as close as it gets to one.

This company advertised what looked to be a free trial for a program that I downloaded. I wanted to try the program and see if it did what I needed it to do. Money was immediately pulled from my account and the email correspondence from with their "support" said that they will not refund the money because I had to purchase the software in order to receive the free trial of the "effects and plugins." Just an awful all around company. Everything about this interaction was shady and scammy.

Charges PayPal more than the quoted price.
Changes all your PDF files, kills your defalut printer settings
Avoid.

This company keeps charging my credit card after two years since I stopped using it and requested to cancel my subscription. Now they are charging me for another service they are naming differently and refusing to issue a refund.

Beware beware Wondershare!

They subscribed me to various add ons. I don't know when it happened but the message to cancel the add ons landed in my junk folder and they have refused to refund and it had renewed twice. In addition when you try to unsubscribe they make it as tricky as possible, to the point where it seems like a scam. Even now I dont know for sure if I have unsubscribed. I have been in touch with customer services and they have been unhelpful.

I have a business of my own and am 100% customer focused. These guys are 1% customer 99% bottom line.
