Poor customer service!
August 10, 2023

I recently open an account with wisely, since they're associated with ADP, the company that handle my paycheck, since day one I encounter many problems and issues with them, the debit card they provide is not accepted in many websites or places to buy since, for some reasons, it's considered a pre paid card, I can't add it either to Apple wallet without a verification, something absurd and inconvenient, since the only way to add it is to call them and talk to a representative, that in my case, was a waste of time and unpleasant, since I have to give them all my information all over and over because I was transferred to a different persons, and all for nothing, they were not able to do the verification, if I need to add the card to my bank account I will need to do the same.
Right now I have my paycheck into this account and I can't transfer it to my bank or any other account or use it on some websites to pay or buy.
I definitely will close this account and use an alternate account, like Venmo, app cash or PayPal, anything else but this.
Very disappointed with Wisely and ADP.

Worst Bank Ever
August 9, 2023

You definitely don't want anything to do with this card or financial entity whatsoever. If you are issued this card, get your money off of it fast and open a checking account with a reputable bank. Customer service agents are nothing more than a bunch of monkeys tapping on a computer. Don't expect any of your concerns to be addressed and God forbid, don't dispute any transaction. YOU WILL BE SORRY

Incredibly Dissapy
August 4, 2023

These people don't have an ounce of professionalism or courtesy. They constantly interrupt, don't listen to anything, and seem not to understand their job is to (LISTEN) to customers concern or help needs INSTEAD they over talk you, blatantly ignore your questions & then ask youba question but start talking over your answer and direct you to what they want. Aside from that, the basic comprehension motor skills is missing.

I opened a wisely card through ADP as I was intrigued by the "Paid up to 2 days early" option but never deposited any money or linked my accounts as it was easier to just use my bank. Nonetheless, the account remained opened as I considered using it in the future. Fast forward a year later, I receive an email from Wisely stating that I had two purchases that were declined due to insufficient funds. This was news to me as I never even used the card which means my account was hacked. I have not seen anything in regard to a security breach however I'm certain other members have been impacted as again I never used the card...anywhere! The card literally never left my home and was in the envelope I received it. I ended up closing my account however who knows what damage has been done in regard to my personal information. Listen to the other reviewers that were unfortunately scammed and have lost money-stay away!

The customer service is a joke, the crazy fees make no sense. I deposited a check and the fee was $58! And they say you will get your check early….yeah you don't. Don't do this. I already changed banks.

I lost my card while I was out, saw a 160.00 charge to my account called them to open a fraud case they then said that there was no fraud on my acct when I lost my card and didn't authorize anyone to use my card as well as didn't know who used my card now to reopen my fraud I have to mail in a letter telling them that I would like it looked at again so backwards that it's 2023 and they can communicate through email or over the phone. I have waited for a call from the corporate still haven't received a call. I have been hung up on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BIGGEST SCAM. Reporting them to the BBB - 5 star if I could rate it that low. It's very sad to see a company with 144 reviews and only 5 of those are good reviews the rest are other customers are customers that have dealt with my same issue

Trash financial institution who used basic foreign labors to handle your hard earned money! Got scam and they gave me credit then took it away because they didn't see anything wrong on their investigation. Randomly credited to your account and two months later take it away with no explanation and then when you call they will request you write a letter and physically mail it before they will look at the case again huh!?!

I had fraud on my wisely debit card so I called to inform and lock the card for a replacement. On payday I tried to transfer the funds which I usually do to another account since I had no debit card to access the wisely account, lo and behold I was not able to do an ACH transfer to my other accounts because the debit card was closed and of course I had not received the new card. My entire paycheck is on my wisely account and I will have to go almost a whole week not being able to do anything including buying food and gas for my car. Big disappointment! And there is nothing any of the agents can do I am switching my direct deposit immediately to a regular bank I can do without getting paid early because I will always have a way to access my funds at a bank.

$2000 was stolen from my account through an Allpoint ATM machine at Walgreens on Little York Road here in Houston, Texas. The Allpoint ATM machine was hacked and my stolen information was used to take money out of my account before I realized what was going on and called to cancel that account. The day I tried to withdraw money from the ATM at Walgreens, I saw a message on the machine's screen that the transaction could not be complete hence I did not get any money at that time. The next morning I see that $400 had been taken from my account. The hackers used the stolen information to take money from two CVS machines, Capital One and the mentioned Walgreens ATM.
They, Wisely, do not have anyway to get money out of your account except at ATM's and this has proven to be a major handicap. When I wrote to them explaining what happened they refused to do anything.
I am sure many people have taken to the cleaners using these Allpoint ATM machines. Never use Allpoint ATM machines because these machines have been hacked.
I can not understand how Wisely does not have a hand on how money is being stolen from ATM machines that you are required to use to withdraw money.

This card declines every which way you try to use it and then sends you a happy little note about how they are protecting you by declining. This card also sucks since apparently the security isn't so great and my card number is now out there floating around with every Tom, $#*! and Harry trying to use it. Good luck trying to get help though. I got hung up on twice from customer service.

I've never had a problem with Wisely until I ran into a bunch of scammers who got a hold of my card info. I got paid today and they had to lock my card(due to scammers) until my new one arrives and then they said that I had to forward them some more verification BS in order to get my new card. My card got declined today at a Zaxby's restaurant but they were nice enough to give me my food for free and then once again at Wal-Mart. I furiously called Wisely's hotline number in the Wal-Mart parking lot asking wtf was going on and they said I could not use my current card until my new one arrives in the mailbox so they locked it themselves! Then they offered me a $24 shipping fee to get another new card faster when I just told them they already had two of them being sent in the mail! The main manager on duty was nice enough to unlock my card today and actually tried and help me take the remaining amount of money from the ATM but I have to call them back due to the fact the card wouldn't let me take out more than $400 today. I had $855 of my cash sitting in a card that I can't currently use all because they won't unlock my card until my new one arrives and once all of the verification bs clears and blah, blah, blah. What got my blood boiling was when they wanted to forward me some more verification links when I literally just told them I filled all of that out a few days ago so they probably didn't even bother going over my information. I've had Wisely for a year along with my job but because of this situation this will be the last time that I ever use them for direct deposits. I will definitely be going back into getting with a new credit union or an actual bank again.

For years, I have a regular bank acct and maintain Dir Dep with no problems. Recently I applied for a general labor job. It seemed VERY criminal from the phone call to the actual interview. The managers were somewhat rude when I asked them about direct deposit. Then they offered me this purple Wisely card in a "sealed" envelope and suddenly they became polite. That attitude change is what made me suspicious about this card.

Now why would I want my paycheck deposited on any card that could be lost/stolen/damaged?

I took the card home but did NOT activate it. Instead I did an online customer search of reviews on this card and ran across this site. I am so thankful customers shared all their pain in the 1-star reviews. I really hope all of you get your money back, espec those of you have become homeless, carless, etc.

Afterwards I returned to the employer who issued me this card to tell him I quit before I even began to work. I will NOT work for any employer who offers a paycheck on a card!

I'm homeless and staying in hotels for the time being I'm working a full time job and doing people ready part time I have worked many jobs for people ready and lost my card and haven't been paid. In order to receive a replacement card from wisely they need me to upload utility bills in my name with my P.O. Box address on it that I need them to send me a replacement card. It's been over 6 months and I'm still getting the run around about the money that's on the card and they're trying to keep the funds

They have had serious issues doing their job. It's standard practice for them to have negative attitudes that are counterproductive and showcase low character and display no interest in resolving my issue they created. I was locked out of my card July 3rd and haven't been able to access it since. I believe they set the record for dropped calls and excuses. They are very argumentative with to interrupt and speak over you and treat you like you have stole that money from their bank accounts they act like they have the right to punish you when you raise your tone and push for answers. He refused to cooperate when asking for supervisors and never complete a call or call back horrible horrible service I would never ever take a job again that uses their payroll I actually don't have my job anymore that uses their bank cards because I cannot fathom having to have one more paycheck on a card that I have to deal with wisely I have filed a complaint with a better Business bureau A Better Business bureau has contacted them and yet they're still no resolve I believe they think this is their money that they earned but I earned that paycheck it's my money it's my say over my card and I have absolutely no power to do anything I really feel that they need to be reprimanded and possibly fired every single person that didn't do anything but give me attitude over this matter because if I was their employer or the supervisor they would have been fired immediately in the United States we don't do that we don't mess with people's money that they earn we don't pass the buck and make excuses we get our jobs done quick and fast little talking and more action your people talk way too much argue way too much but what they need to do is be quiet and do their jobs that they get paid to do by our country the United States of America
