My company uses ADP and In an attempt to be more fiscally sound, I saw the MyWisely option through ADP and started an account and placed x-amount to be placed on this card every payday. A day after my payday I went to use this card to buy my daughters bday stuff. It was declined, I looked and some one had charged tons of Apple app charges in the amount of 120 dollars. I don't use this card for online purchases and it's not attached to an apple account. I call Wisely and 90 day investigation, they cancel the card and send me a new one. Apple starts to refund my money as they see the card and the users account it was used on. I get my new card and eventually a full refund of 120 dollars. Fast forward to the end of the same month, I get paid and again 120.00 dollars was charged and I find out cause I tried to make a purchase on my new card. How does only one card of mine that's not used online have 240 dollars worth of fraudulent charges in the same month on the exact payday on two different cards if it's not an internal thing?!?!

Essentially Illegal
September 3, 2023

Wisely will hold your money hostage and take funds from your account. I have over 200 dollars they will not give me access to in anyway and from what I have read on other reviews, it will stay this way until one day I check the account and some or all of the money is gone. Dont use under any circumstances. Actual criminals.

Call to have help changing address on the card I have. When said supervisor was talking with me he made it a point to read my phone number back to me in case of a disconnect. And we were but did he call back No the jackass says my card is lost I don't know this until I go to fuel my vehicle. When I called back to ask what's wrong I was told what Aarin did claim my card lost. I did not authorize this nowhere did I say call it lost. But Aarin thought to me that's were the problem lies. So I was told to call back today to get a tracking number I at least desirve this I was charge 24 bucks to have one sent. The person at the help couldn't give me one because it hasn't been made or sent. Shame on you people.
Sincerely to the idiot employees that lied to me through this process.

Do not, under any circumstances, get this card. I had fraud on it, called and changed the debit card and account number, and within a week, there was fraud on it again. The customer service rep suggested it wasn't fraud, but my own purchases that I may have forgotten. Are you kidding me? He was super argumentative. Absolutely horrific experience.

I would give this company a negative star if i could. This company is worse than garbage. The employees are worthless and have no intelligence. All they give is excuses instead of answers. They also have a bad habit of blaming other companies instead of trying to fix their issues. I can not say enough bad thing about this company. They need to be shut down. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with them. They froze my friend ( who is on disability)account and when she explained that she needs food and billis paid they hung up on her. WORDS OF ADVICE. DONT WALK AWAY RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN WHEN YOU HEAR THIS COMPANYS NAME

This bank steals the money of its customers and makes no attempt to resolve the issues. Call the office of the OCC federal regulator at *******743 to file a complaint pass or present let's put them out of business. Get the bank issuer on the back of the card and call their number. Last but not least meta bank it doesn't exist call Pathward Bank at *******506. Wisely card and anyone affiliated visa etc call them and let them know this is just like a Nigerian money laundering scheme. You can get mad or get even.My name is Yuri Stevens and Im on FB if you want to PM me.Lets shut them down send regulators after have the books examined.

Total Scam
August 19, 2023

Signed up for this card because ADP kept pushing it down my throat. Received my direct deposit on Thursday night, then paid my phone bill. Woke up the next morning and tried to add the card to my apple wallet. I was told to call Wisely to verify my card. When I called they told me my date of birth did not match what was on file. When I asked what the date of birth on file was they refused to tell me. They told me it was my employers fault and that my date of birth didn't match my W-2. Little did they know I'm the general manager of this company was looking right at my w-2 that had my correct information. They first person I talked to told me in order to fix the problem I would need to upload my ID and SSN Card. I refused to give them my SSN. I demanded to talk to the manager, manager told me something completely different. Said I needed to send them my ID and Birth Certificate. They are refusing to release my money!

This company is a complete scam. I have no clue how such a good company like ADP stands behind them!

My card was hacked over a week ago. The original merchant refunded my money back to the wisely card. The wisely company is holding onto $1000 of mines for over a week and will not refund it to my card. Can't feed my children or put gas in my car wisely has me in a bad situation. They are not trying to help resolve the situation they're just holding onto my money, holding my money hostage the merchant already refunded. All of the money wisely is Wisely has me in a bad situation. They are not trying to help resolve the situation. They're just holding onto my money, holding my money hostage the merchant already refunded. All of the money wisely is just holding it up.

Wisely banking
August 15, 2023

Terrible customer service that gives no real answers. They locked my card without me giving total explanation of the situation. Which I resolved the following business day from Apple.com of all institutions. They returned my funds immediately without a 90day investigation. I've been paid twice from my new employer and still can't access my funds. Wisely is the worst online banking I have ever dealt with. The ATM fees are ridiculous and there are no free ones available…

I would like the right people to know my awful experience with Wisely Pay.

When attempting to get the money from the card to my bank account I was hit with numerous roadblocks. First off, when I signed up to make an account it never asked for my email meaning I was unable to two factor authenticate my account. Second it didn't ask for my phone number, instead it already had a phone number filled out for me, a number I do not recognize and was only allowed to view the last 4 digits. Wisely Pay would not let me make changes to my account (email or phone number) without sending a text message code to that strange phone number. Once my initial log-in was used to sign up I was no longer allowed to sign in without using the code being sent to a number that isn't mine. Below I attached a screen grab.

There is no online portal for chat or written complaints to the company. Just a phone number with an offshore IT department. I called 6 (SIX) different times trying to get connected to an agent. Once they answered they said "How may I help you?" No name, or business stated. I said "Hi I would like to update my contact info for account verification." They hung up on me six different times immediately after I stated my request. Another Red Flag. At this point I am in tears left without an option to access my money. My solution was to pay 3% fee to via Venmo to send the balance to someone trusted and have it sent back to me to have it finally deposited. Leaving me with 17% of my income that was already taxed at 25%. Hence the tears.

My complaint is this. Why could I have not been sent a check? The time was taken to print and send me a paystub-- a check would have got me my money in a way I trusted and would have been faster. A check would have eliminated the cost of third party. I am greatly concerned that I am now at risk of yet another data breach by my social security number being given to a company with insecure credentials and business practices.

Called customer service and they couldn't do a simple thing that I'd asked them to do I one of them to transfer my money from wisely account to my other bank account and they said it's no other options which they should. You know they have access to my accounts they should have no problem transferring my money into my bank accounts. It's not hard, it's an easy fix simple is that. Then I told them can you replace my card and they said that I will get it end of two weeks. I had to pay my bills and rent. It's like they playing games with me.

Don't get myWisely
August 10, 2023

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Someone stole 300 from me they told me 30-90 day investigation. Still had money on my card after they locked it they unlocked it just enough time for me to get my remaining money off. Tried to get a new card through employer but myWisely won't activate it for me bc the wording of the companies are diff from the first card I had so now I have to wait for a new one and all while just got a paycheck deposited on there and they won't help me access my money jsut kept telling me over and over again that I have to wait for the new card to come in the mail so no money can't pay bills and have 700 on my card currently that they don't help me access. Worst company will be switching to direct deposit after I finally get the new card and my money off of it. This place should be shut down
