Wonderful
June 16, 2018

Worked out well for my family and me. Just pay the bill in the allotted time. They give you all the time you need. It was not a problem I agreed to the terms that worked best for us. They keep you abreast of the time periods coming up and when the payments are due. It was a good opportunity to buy a great appliance for a major department store and not pay for it out of the nose as you would do at Aarons or Rent A Center and I have used both in the past. I bought a great dryer, two lawn mowers, and now a fridge. It's up to you how you finance, but if you can't finance with a credit card and you need something now, this is great for someone like you and me. You do not pay near as much as you would renting to own.

I used them for a $400 item and they explained everything to me from the start! 5%int. If you pay it in the first 30 days 7% if you pay it in 60days and 10% if within 90 days. Simple if you go over 90 days then yes it would feel like if you were renting it because then you would have to buy it at a little less than full price. So ask a lot of questions before you use them and there would not be so many bad reviews. If you are sure you will pay within 90 day I highly recommend them.

RIPOFF!
June 13, 2018

You are basically renting... if you choose to purchase the item after the lease is up, prepare to pay what the item was listed for. Or, a bit more.
I wish I would have used another finance company, like Progressive. Where the price of an item goes down after making so many payments.

Dont even try it!
June 8, 2018

This place is just horrible. They make you think youre buying your product when in fact your not. And to get someone to listen to you is impossible! I ended up paying almost 3k for a ducking washer and dryer and the only reason why I paid it was because I was already so invested. Save yourself some time and money and just pay for something out right. Never again

My wife had an account with them and I changed the card she used. Now they will not accept AMEX BlueBird Card, and now I know WHY! AMEX BlueBird will refund your money and you can stop a payment. They wanted direct access to our bank account or for us to use "another card". The REASON I changed cards was that they kept taking double payments that later had to be "adjusted" AFTER an almost monthly phone call of watching our card activity. My wife had to repeatedly work with them so as to not convert our account to the higher paying option they wanted us to use. I understand thier underwriters funding requirements and do not blame them, but you can get a better deal elsewhere...

Ripped us off over twice what the lawnmower was worth and tried to get even more from us. They are blood sucking parasites. Told it was a rent to own but they tricked us and put it under lease. They tricked us.

I have used the why not lease it program 4 times. I read the contract, researced my neeeds and how much I wanted to spend. I used the calculator they provide. Matched the cost against the amount I would pay in charging it to a card. I have not had any issues and the people I have talked to on the phone were extremely pleased and knowledge able of the questions I had. Right down to what can be bought. The first time using them I purchased Christmas gifts and had them payed off in a timely manner. I needed a washer. The last two times was gifts. I am on a fixed income and they helped me stay with in my means. The only time they ever took out extra money was my fault as my paym was returned by the bank and they really issued the payment I owed and the late fee. Bottom line follow the contract it's very simple and buyout early, which you can split without extra charge.

This company going in my bank account taking how much money they want each month, they will get there payment and then come back and take more! Every time I asked them why they have a excuse for it! If your wise you wont do this option, if its presented to you decline! Customer Service is poor and also upper management. I had to get unprofessional because I am tired of them taking money out of my account! When you take more money that is owed that is considered fraud, this is fraudulent company!

Worst company ever!
March 29, 2018

I could have gone to rent a center or Aarons and still payed a lot less than I have with this company. They would us we would be done paying off in may of this year but that is not true that is when the leasing payments end but I would still need to do a BUY OUT! F@@@ that. I asked them what my buy out was now and they told me a higher about than what I was told in Dec. So I told them and he goes and looks and magically it was lower that what he just told me but it was still the same amount as it was in Dec. What ever you do DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

I have made over 11 purchases and have paid them within the 3 month early purchase buyout. The interest rate is 10%, better than most credit cards. Very helpful customer service.

HOW COULD THIS BE LEGAL?
January 18, 2018

I have NEVER felt like I have been so ripped off in my life! This $349.00 TV after all the payments will cost me over $1,100.00. The Kmart employee didn't mention any of this, AND try to deal with Why Not Lease customer service. Unless you want to get seriously rectally screwed I would stay away from this company. We quit shopping at Kmart because of this.

CROOKS, CROOKS, CROOKS... I thought I was financing but I was leasing an equipment without ownership. Companies like this should get a court order to send all officer to JAIL.
I paid 3 times the value. CROOKS

I got a vacuum and told to lease it for 5 mo. Then you can end it. I wasn't informed I needed to make arrangements to pay another "end" payment and they kept taking out of my account. When I finally got someone after a 30 hold on the line, I was told I had a balance of $160+ (the total had been $279) and I'd already paid over a year! So they agreed to "take" 40% off. I paid $96 immediately that day. Two days later they took another $96. I called and they said they'd take care of it but I didn't get money back in my account for 4 days. I explained I had another payment to make and they said they'd cover overdraft fees if I showed them the bank statement. Seriously? I had to pay another vendor and couldn't in good conscience give them a check I knew would bounce just so I could try to recover the amount. I'm REALLY ticked they didn't tell me that the lease had no end unless I called and then initiated the "final" payment and I had just been waiting for it to end... my fault there, but they did not fully disclose how they're such a rip off!
