Worst company, products and customer service ever. Bought a new gas stove not even a month old and the oven won't work. 2 weeks in dealing with customer service and still no date on when my stove will be fixed. In fact customer service wants me to do their job and contact the repair service who has already been dishonest with me. Do not buy whirlpool products if you want quality products and service. 0 stars given and will never purchase from them again.
Bad product and terrible customer service. I bought dishwasher 5/21. It worked only for one time I called the customer service they said they will send Technion who came three weeks later and order some parts, we had to wait three months for the needed parts. During that time my wife was washing dishes on hands even though she has some health conditions. I trayed with the customer serves to see if they can replace it with another one and I am willing to pay the difference if there is OR get my money back. Unfortunately, they refused to (very much they said put your head against the wall nothing you can do but wait and get this bad product) anyway the parts arrived after three months and two days, the Technion installed the parts and it worked for one time only and then stopped working with different code. The problem has not been solved still waiting for Technion and replacing it is not option. And soon the warranty expires before using it and I will stock with it. I made the mistake by fully paying for this dishwasher. I will never by from whirlpool again and DO NOT recommend to any friends or family. No the only option will satisfy me is replacing this dishwasher or get my money back, I prefer to get my money back because after four and half months of hard time I cant trust your product or service
My husband and I bought a brand new fridge/freezer at Menards. After about 3 weeks, the freezer started to make sputtering noises. We checked it and it wasn't freezing anymore, but the fridge was working still. We ended up calling customer service since we have a 3 year warranty on it and they said they were going to find someone to come out and look at it. The next day, we woke up to a fridge that was no longer working and over $200 in food wasted. We called again and were told that since we live out of Sioux Falls, they would have to find someone willing to come look at our fridge. However, the person they supposedly found "didn't feel like coming out." We keep getting the run around from customer service and were told we are to give them 7 business days to find someone to fix our fridge, if they don't, it gets passed on to a board where they decide what happens with our fridge. Of course this happened over Labor Day so now we have another weekend to wait. It has been a total of 3 weeks of this back and forth with customer service. I just want our money back. I could care less about this company and their terrible customer services and products. Do not buy from them!
We have had whirlpool refrigerators in the past and were happy with them. But now is a different story. Their new technology is not working for me. My new refrigerator whistles and wines. And whirlpool says that this is normal with my new refrigerator. This happens every time that it runs. Very annoying to us and our pet.
I filed a complaint with Whirlpool PUN*******110 & PUN*******314 on August 12th, and they replaced the fridge compressor, but my fridge is still not working. My compressor is still covered under warranty. Please escalate this complaint and resolve it as quickly as possible. I am quite dissatisfied with the company's service quality.
Very dangerous. Overheating to where you can't even stand in front of the stove. I'm afraid it will catch me or something in my house on fire. The right, front burner is overheating once it is turned up past low-medium. It is so hot, I can not use it, and it's very dangerous. It is only 4 years old. Whirlpool customer service suggested I pay for the service call because it's out of warranty, or buy a new one. But I no longer trust the Whirlpool name / brand.
First used 2024, February. Lovely, quite and a joy. Then, would not remove water from tub. Turn on and off a few times to 'clear' now empty brain. Then, FO5 error. Check for dirt, none, check for blockage, none. Machine has spooked out. Contact Whirlpool 4 times in +- 30 minutes. They answer and ring off immediately. Do not even take the call. Email them and get no reply. Visit seller of machine and they have heard this before but try to raise Whirlpool. No answer on the dealer phone.
Do yourself a favour, do NOT buy Whirlpool or Hotpoint Junk, same company, same trash
I've bought several whirlpool washers and dryers and every single one is a piece of junk. Their warranty department covers nothing no matter what they promise. The stores that sell these, Lowes, Menards, etc are no help at all and should stop selling this junk. Seriously this stuff barely lasts a year.
I have order Refrigerator through Amazon, After one week it started sweating from outside. We arranged the service through Watsup technician came and checked he said the item is defective need replacement, We got call from customers care they said the Officer will call you and he will replace the refrigerator. The Officer who called was very rude he dont know how to talk the customer and Specially with a lady he refuse to replace, on top he his advising me to send photos defective product to Amazon and get replacement he thinks I am fool. Now I decided to put photos and videos on all my social media sites very soon and Specially on YouTube as my son has is own youtube Chanel I will do that. I never expected this from world class brand like wirlpool very horrible experience.
My parents purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator at my suggestion in December. After just a few months, they noticed that it was FREEZING sections of the refrigerator, ruining produce and other items.
They called Whirlpool and a tech was sent out. FOUR visits later, still no fix, but Whirpool informed my parents that the only way to get a replacement was if the tech called their "techline" from my parents' home and stated that it was unrepairable.
Be aware that this is what they will TELL you, but the reality is that the local technicians are not allowed to make that assesment. They have to ASK the techline to classify it as unfixable and the techline - who has not seen the appliance in question - can say no.
And that's exactly what took place. The techline informed the technician that they needed to come back AGAIN (this is after FIVE visits and two cancelled visits) and use LINER TAPE to tape a vent and see if that keeps things from freezing.
The techline is requiring the technician to return and put a literal band-aid on the issue, one that will likely cause worse issues in the future - but I guess by then it won't be under warranty...and maybe that's Whirlpool's goal?
Totally disappointed to see THIS is how they do business.
TLDR: DO NOT BUY FROM WHIRLPOOL.
***I did attempt to reach out to Whirlpool before posting this, both through social media, their website customer care address, as well as email addresses for their executive team. I received no assistance, just a scripted response from their Twitter team and NO response from all other avenues.
The glass shelfs on the WRT311FZDB02 need to be a quarter of an inch wider. If shelfs shifts a little it falls off the support on either side. I have ordered some white trim that will slide over 1/8 inch thick for both side edges to prevent shelf from falling. I already had two shelfs slip off supports? I have included photos in addition I have added two types of trim that I have on order to see what works best to add to overall dimension width of shelfs for the safe use of.
They are providing refrigerator parts with 3-4 times more cost. Fake service. Do not go for Whirlpool service
I have the above dryer purchased 3 years ago. I had to get a service call because the machine did not run. It turns out the display unit is bad. Hard to believe that after only 3 years a part like this ($250) is no longer working. I tried Whirlpool customer service line, requesting a replacement even though it is out of warranty. I was denied. I now know what kind of company I am dealing with and will no longer buy any Whirlpool products Customer service like this is killing the brand! Whirlpool management...wake up
We had a brand new Armana Dishwasher and the electronic control board was defective, causing the heating element to melt through machine. Whirlpool was kind enough to replace the unit, but the delivery was a complete disaster. Since it was a week day appointment, my tenant had to work, so I took the day off and drove 120 miles to the house. I made several calls to Whirlpool, the warehouse and the delivery center during the day to try to find out an exact time instead of waiting outside for 4 hours.
The only information I received was that it was a 3rd party delivery driver who did not answer their phone and could not be reached. At the very end of the delivery time frame (6pm) I called the delivery company JB Hunt who recorded our conversation and still had no information about when the driver would arrive. Upon the 3 hour drive home I finally received a phone call from the delivery driver at 7:15PM saying they could come by now.
Still to date I have not received the machine, any explanation, or apology for the inconvenience and loss of wages for the disastrous no show.

Fridge and freezer door seal/gasket buckling/detaching 19 months after purchase.
No longer consider Whirlpool a reputable brand.
So in this day and age, with the computer power we have, and the engineering knowledge we have, how is possible that company making dishwashers could possible make a dishwasher that not only doesn't clean or dry dishes (even using a heat setting) but that falls apart in less than six months? I'll tell you how, they manufacture in China and everything that China makes is garbage. Like this company: absolute garbage. Don't buy - read Facebook reviews as well. They make nothing worthwhile - nothing.
Bought a brand new refrigerator in October 2022. Today is June29th 2023 and just now received a replacement unit after whirlpool tried multiple bandaid fixes and had us waiting for months for replacement parts that never showed up to the appliance company. Will never buy another whirlpool product or subsidiary brand ever again.
Didn't even use the microwave or stove/oven for two years since I bought it and both are extremely useless, nothing works, absolutely a waste of money. Don't even use the microwave or oven often no they broke down!
Waited a month for parts and then engineer came out and replaced every part of oven, he left and over tripped the electricity and smell coming from it, they didn't want to kmow
I bought a double door refrigerator in March of 2022. There are many many rust spots on the doors. I called for service and they came out to tell me that I needed to replace the door for 900$. I contacted whirlpool and this is what they said.

So after a little over a year I should have to pay 900 on top of what I paid for the appliance In such a short time. This is so so unacceptable to me and I am so disappointed in this company. I bought all my appliances from whirlpool and will NEVER EVER by a whirlpool appliance again. My suggestion would be to not purchase from them. Terrible customer service.
Answer: I've called 1st thing in the morning and gotten through w/in 12 minutes at other times have waited between 1 and 2 hours. You read that correctly and it's not an exaggeration. I've spoken w/ professional, empathetic CSRs and unprofessional ones and none with the authority to respond outside of a narrow script. Supervisor s will not talk to customers (even if the problem has not been resolved after 4 months.) Customer Service is the number 1 reason NOT to buy a Whirlpool product!
