We paid over $300 extra for their White Glove Delivery as indicated on their website. When the products were delivered, they brought them in a dropped them off without unpacking and verifying the condition. Refuse to compensate for this service. This company is a rip-off.

Placed an order yesterday for 2 trash cans for my shopping center found out todays they are not placing the order ask me to provide my ID card ok I did provide still they are not satisfied the address did not much freeking company disaded to do full investigation for lousy 283 for freeking trash can order.

I run a youth baseball league and have tried Webstaurant twice for different products. The first time I had to cancel the order after two weeks of fighting with them back and forth about a product that was never delivered as promised. Second time I am having the same problem and I am about to cancel my order again. NEVER USE THIS STORE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE RUDE!

I bought disposable side dish cups and the picture of the item showed them with lids, but they came without lids. Since the shipping is so expensive, I ordered a bunch of other products to make it cost-effective. Then I had to spend an arm and a leg to get the lids I needed for the cups in a separate shipment. I tried to get them to help me with the cost of shipping for the lids, and they refused and didn't even admit that it was a bit confusing that the item picture showed them with lids on them. I will not be ordering from this company again, and I honestly don't think they care. As far as the other products are concerned, they were fine, but at least one was not exactly what I expected. I will go back to the old-fashioned way of looking for random kitchen equipment in local stores, they usually care a lot more, anyway, plus I get exactly what I see.

LOVE Webstaurant

Not sure what is up with all the negative reviews... I'm not a big restaurant, cafe, or whatever. I'm a stay-at-home mom who drinks a pot of coffee a day, and every cup gets a shot or two of Torani syrup. This is the only place I can find Torani syrups at a decent price, and they have a crazy awesome variety--I can get any flavor I want in the full-sugar version. I DO NOT like sugar-free syrups, and that is mostly what our World Market sells (yuck--hate sugar-free). Even though I have to pay ground shipping on my order, it is still at least $2 less per bottle than anywhere local (on sale) and $3 less than on Amazon per bottle. I buy these syrups by the case, and every one (this is at least my 3rd order) has arrived on my doorstep intact, well-packaged, and each bottle is in a plastic bag to contain any unfortunate breakage.

Speaking of shipping--I get my orders within 2-3 business days. In fact, my most recent order took one day. ONE DAY. I ordered the syrups yesterday, and they showed up on my doorstep today. Unreal. The great range of products, super fast shipping, and tidy/secure packaging is what prompted me to write a review for this place.

We ordered 150 polyester napkins from webstaurant, and on the website the napkins look silver/light grey and in person they are as blue as the ocean. This was really frustrating because they charge a 20% re-stock fee to return them, plus you have to pay for your own shipping. We wouldn't have ordered them in the first place if we knew that they weren't the right color. Not our fault that the picture is not accurate on the website.

I will not buy here again. They sent me the wrong thing, not what I ordered then told me it's my fault I ordered the wrong thing. To send it back is a rip off because they charge to restock it and I have to pay return shipping. It's not worth it and would cost too much to send back and pay the restocking fee.

This company does not take responsibility for their mistakes and will not make it right. Believe me, you are better off buying somewhere else, Ebay, Amazon or look for a local restaurant supply store in your town and either go pick up what you need or have it shipped from a local place.

They listed a product as not available so I game my email to be notified when it would be available and placed the rest of my order. 15 minutes later I received an email that the other product was available so I tried to modify my existing order to help save shipping costs. They refused to add it to an existing order which was reportedly in the process of being pulled or give any break on the shipping of the additional product even though it was their error to claim it was not available. The lack of customer support or reasonable response to their error makes it hard to do any future business with this company

They charged $11.00 for shipping a $9.00 item. The box and the item weighed. 5oz TOTAL. That shipping price was ridiculous. They never included an invoice with the shipment. The item was very poorly made and looks like it would easily break. After requesting an RA for the item, I was told I had to pay return shipping(which I KNOW will not be $11.00) and they charge a 30% restocking fee. WHATTTTTTTTTTT? FYI, they PAY people to write good reviews about their products and then they will deduct a certain amount from their bill. Word of mouth, best and worst advertising and I would never do business with them again. They never even offered to exchange the product for me for something more suitable for my needs. So unprofessional.

Hello everyone i bough a fryer i ordered the 208v fryer they sent me the 240volt my invoice said 208v but received this we opened to realize it wouldnt work. They said they would fix it so it sent it back cost 29 bucks to return. Then they said we used it when we didn't have to correct plug in. They sent back pictures saying its clearly used. They were nice about being not helpful and said there's nothing they could do since the item was damaged and used which makes no sense i wished i would of took pictures but it literally looked like they put oil on the return and said its used see the oil. They said they asked there shipping department about it and get back to me but instead sent it back to me charged me 6.19 shipping to return it to me saying this is what i wanted right. To have them ship back the wrong fryer that i paid for Thanks For Nothing I would rather deal with Amazon or alibaba atlease they do it right and guarantee there items instead or drop ship it and say your solo we messed up but you used our product. BTW how does return shipping cost 29 to send it to you but cost 6 bucks to send it back to me but originally ships for 40 dollars makes any sense people. Deal with some one that actually cares about customers.

DON"T BUY HERE!

The WEBstaurant Store is really bad store. They charge for shipping and not only. I wanted return item that I bought 2 days ago and the told me I need pay for shipping back to them (OK) and THEY WILL KEEP 30% OF COST. WHY? That is so crazy. Only idiot could set up so rules. They do that, because don't want people return items. They told me "It will better if you sell that item locally". WTF? Guys, be carefully with them.

OVERPRICED!

They are so overpriced u won't believe until u start shopping around.
After ordering from them a small item, I found it at another wholeseller for 60% less. Yes 60% with no exageration. I couldn't believe it. I felt I was taken.
So I decide to return the item and that's when the plucking of my payment started; over $33.78, they refunded me $5.95.
Eventhough I returned the item to them at my expense ($8.40), they took all the shipping I payed them to send me the item ($12.00) and 30% restocking and refures to fee.

My advice; stay away from this store, particularly if ur a small order. This people like big orders, the rest is small fry to them. They will fleece u! OVERPRICED!

I'm a remodeling contractor w/ 40 years in the market. Bought a $300 water dispenser for a high-end residential kitchen. When we opened the well-packaged parts, we discovered a deep 1" scratch across the front of the dispenser head. Clearly damaged before being tightly/individually bubble-wrapped! Webstuarant.com refused to accept a return citing a five-day return policy. The supplier to Webstuarant, Delfield, ignored email request to exchange the damaged part. To maintain project schedule, I purchased a second set-up from a local restaurant supply house, leaving me stuck with the damaged product. Sorry that there is nothing positive to say about either company in my experience. Beware!

Update: read the response here from Webstuarant.com and you'll get the impression they were willing to discuss the situation. I wrote to them immediately to open a discussion but they never acknowledged or responded in any way.

After looking into this situation further and evaluating pictures of the damage, we made an exception and issued a full refund. We do request to be notified of any possible issues with an order as soon as possible so that we can effectively resolve them. In this situation, the main challenge was that over a month had passed since the order was received so it was difficult to determine when the damage occurred.

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN! Ordered a product off Amazon.com. The items are in their original packaging, never opened. Requested a return authorization from the company an now they want to charge me a 30% restocking fee. The return policy was not posted on Amazon.com site. If I had known or seen the restocking fee I would have never done business with the company. This is why their prices are so low. They make up money by charging the unsuspecting public a 30% restock fee.

In the past, we have advertised items on Amazon.com, but in order to make a purchase the customer is directed to our site to view the items and to proceed through check-out. We do clearly explain our return process in the check-out screens as well as in our FAQs section.
Our goal is to offer the lowest prices on the items that we sell and the restocking fee that is deducted for the added service of processing a return is one of the reasons why that is possible. Rather than absorbing the added cost of processing returns by increasing our prices overall, we keep our prices low upfront by deducting a restocking fee only in the event of a standard return. I ordered a large table top, carnival style, popcorn popper from this site. I tried the popcorn popper one time only. It did not produce the quality of popcorn that was described on the site. I followed the directions exactly as described, and the popcorn it made was just awful. The popcorn kernels that I used were brand new and had just been bought.
Per the instructions, I used clarified butter in the popper. I used the included scoop to measure the popcorn. I followed the instructions exactly and also watched the video on their website. It tasted terrible and the texture was like styrofoam or thick paper and very difficult to chew. I've made popcorn on the stovetop with these same ingredients and it turned out just fine.
I cleaned the entire machine and put it back in the original packaging. I then contacted the WEBstaurant Store asking for a full refund, including shipping. Their customer service then contacted thier warranty department to look into it further in order to see if there the actual unit could be defective. They determined that the unit was not defective and they would not issue a refund.
They said that sometimes you have to use different popcorns or oils to get desired results. The user manual does not recommend a certain brand of popcorn or oil. The only ingredient recommendation is that clarified butter should be used instead of regular butter, but any type of oil is acceptable. I used new popcorn with clarified butter.
They said that I could ship the unit back to them (at my expense) so that they could inspect it. If they found it to be defective they would issue a credit. However, if they found the unit to be in working condition, they would ship it back to me at my expense. This is a large item. Shipping it to them, and them possibly shipping it back, would be very expensive. Since they had already guessed that it must have been the 'type of popcorn' that I used, I did not have confidence that their biased warranty department would decide that the unit was defective.
I used the product exactly as stated in the user manual and did not get the results that were advertised. I am left with a giant $150 paper weight and I feel as if I've been robbed.

For all of the Carnival King popcorn poppers that we sell, we have a recommended popcorn kit which includes oil and kernels. Typically, these kits will be the best option to obtain the desired taste and quality. Based on the description of the issue, it was determined that the popper was working correctly, but adjustments needed to be made with the oil and kernals to get the desired results. We have been in touch with our customer directly to continue to work towards a resolution.

I bought a Solwave microwave oven from these folks. The oven stopped functioning 3 weeks later. They refunded my purchase price in full and I did not have to hassle returning the microwave. I think the measure of a good company is when you have problems and I have to give them 6 stars if I could for their prompt courteous response. I would have no problem ordering from them again.

Their prices are low, but they make it up if you ever have to return something. Absolutely the WORST customer service experience I've ever had! A 30% restocking fee on an unopened $200 item (that we were exchanging for a slightly different model) is completely absurd. I'll pay a couple dollars more elsewhere for honest business practices.

Would NEVER order from them again. Only have FedEx for delivery so my $62.45 item cost me $25.81 to deliver. I also had to pay EXTRA for the FedEx because it was delivered to my residence not a restaurant/business! Then I had to return the items and there was a 30% re-stocking fee! So it cost me and extra $18.74! Holy Cow plus I paid the return postage too!
So I lost my $25.91 fedex charge
So I lost my $18.74 restocking fee
So I lost my $16 return postage charge.
So I lost $60.65 on a $62.45 returned item.
WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! Rediculous
