Ordered an Oreck carpet sweeper, after charged for full 24 hours, suction is lousy and when lifting over door saddle all dirt and dust fell right out of the bottom. I called webstaurantstore.com customer service, waste of time... told me I must call the manufacturer directly as they assume no responsibility for products. I call Oreck and was told I must bring to a service center (1 hour from my home) to see if they could fix it... I chatted with a rep again at webstaurantstore. Comand was told the same thing. Absolutely terrible customer service. Once they sell something that's it. You're on your own
I find the webstaurant store to be a great place to do online shopping for my restaurant. They have the best prices and the shipments are always super quick and I always get exactly what I order. I have ordered from them many times and have yet to be disappointed. If I ever had an issue they were willing to send me replacements upon proof of issue, and always quickly. I'm surprised at the number of negative comments on here, but I'll still be ordering from them.
Their products do not match what it says on the website. When you want to return it, they stiff you with a hefty "restocking fee" as well as return postage.
Inadvertently placed the wrong order and tried to cancel within the hour, but was told the item was already being shipped - still in the warehouse though. Customer service is a primary selling point, and it appears that Websturantstore does not agree.
No one asked for a review, just so tickled with the prices and service it demanded a positive comment.
I've had multiple orders with this company and the prices are the best I've found on the net for the products purchased. Quality has been superior and customer service was very accommodating. Product was well packed and promptly shipped from multiple warehouses.
With the negative reviews on this site and based on my experience it makes you wonder if competitors left the negative reviews. You can't go wrong with this company, I'm extremely well pleased.

I thought I would add a positive review for this company, since there are so many recent negative ones. My experience was handled well and promptly. In fact, I was dealing with another company the same time as Webstaurantstore.com and the other company has yet to respond to my emails after a few back and forths. Mine was for custom coffee sleeves so I mainly dealt with the special orders department after placing the order online. I have the order in hand and I will be ordering again soon enough. I have no doubt the negatives have valid points, but I didn't have any problems with my custom coffee sleeves.
Delayed now 50 days and more to come. Meanwhile, they charged my card and still have no firm, promised ship date from their supplier. They unethically charge your card to get their money and leave you flapping in the breeze with promised ship dates which come and go. More promises... no merchandise. Go elsewhere as they don't have reliable sourcing suppliers and don't care enough to deal with their own problems first, making their poor sourcing suppliers YOUR problem.
Be careful what you buy here. No replacement parts on grills and smokers. Bought 2 years ago and grates are rusted through and deflector plates are disintegrated and useless. What a waste of money.

This place is the pits. Fairly certain of the few-and-far-between positive reviews of this company, 99.9 % of them have to be from their marketing department or employees of some sort. I find it incredibly hard to believe anybody who isn't being compensated could review this company positively.
Placed an order 8 days later still no information about shipping. Will never use again. Having to file fraud charges to have my order refunded.
I have been buying large and small supplies from Webstaurant Store for 6 years and they have been consistently excellent. I originally found them shopping on price alone (for which they were always competitive). I soon figured out that their webpage interface was so good at allowing me to filter my search so quickly that it was saving me a ton of search time. I would even use it to refine my search, find the item, shop it for price elsewhere on the web and usually buy it from Webstaurant anyway because they had the best price and service.
I have easily made over a hundred orders from Webstaurant and there have been very few mistakes. When that has happened, they've taken care of it immediately and with almost no hassle on my end. My orders are easily trackable. I've used them so much that we were moved into a customer category that gets us expedited shipping but best of all, a dedicated account representative. Valerie is cheerful, resourceful, prompt and has always been a pleasure to do business with. Anytime I have a problem or a question, she finds a solution. She has never once left me hanging. I supply 3 separate kitchens primarily from Webstaurant in a multi-million dollar operation. I also get a lot of information requests from peers in a national organization we belong to and I always recommend this company. I honestly don't know what more you could ask for in an equipment supply company.
I've been using you guys for awhile and have had minor issues here and there but recently have had more and more issues. Currently I'm still waiting to receive an order I placed on January 1st and when I contacted your customer service department via online chat. She basically told me it's my responsibility to find out where my order is not hers? Your customer service department was extremely rude! You guys took my money and 2 weeks later I have yet to see my products? Terrible experience!
I was cautious to purchase anything from this site due to the poor reviews, though I'm glad I took the chance because I couldn't be more satisfied.
My order arrived within a matter of days. Everything was well packed, in good condition, and all items accounted for. I was impressed with the quality of everything, too. Would certainly buy from them again!
If you're concerned whether this site is scammy, do be aware that it is a Google trusted store. I do a lot of online shopping, and being the frugal person that I am, I often come across "bargain" sites that may or may not be legitimate, so I'm a bit familiar with identifying scam sites. So far I haven't ordered from any duds, and this site is no exception.
I made a large order for wedding supplies... mostly disposable dining ware, cups, stirrers, even hot chocolate and sugar, as well as some baking/kitchen utensils. After placing the order, they'll provide you with an order number so that you can track its status. Because my order was so large, it had to be separated into several different shipments, and each had their own accurate tracking number. Everything I ordered had been shipped from within the US. They'll also send general status updates of your shipment to your email, and I really appreciated that.
Purchased some shoes as a Xmas gift for someone 12/17. Asked for an RMA return to exchange for a slight shoe size modification THREE days after Xmas - needed the shoe a half size smaller. THEY REFUSED TO EXCHANGE THEM! Who does that! You cannot stay in business if you refuse to help people get what they want AND keep their money when they get something they do not want. You should not sell clothing of ANY kind if you refuse to accommodate sizing adjustments after the sale. These people are ridiculous! Buyer beware!
Thank you for the feedback and we are very sorry the size didn't work. We are a wholesaler geared towards bulk ordering from businesses and pride ourselves in our low pricing. However, in order to maintain this low pricing, we don't have an exchange process. In the event of a standard return, the item would need to be sent back, and a restocking fee is deducted from the return credit for the added service of processing an item back into stock. If we did not have a restocking fee our prices would need to be higher in order to absorb the added cost. We certainly understand your return situation wasn't ideal, but we hope that our low prices will make it worth trying us again in the future. Bought this duster from Webstaurant.com... PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I opened it from the package... hair fell out everywhere. You can pull your hand through it and globs fall out of this already thin duster. I paid so much for shipping and they want a 20% restocking fee. Customer service did not want to replace the item. CHEAP CHINA CRAP. They only have 5 star reviews on this duster on their website because they don't allow bad reviews.
I will NEVER purchase from this company again.
It is impossible to return or exchange product from this company - they ship wrong products, you cannot return it on line, the chat service is awful -- finally found a number for them - and the agent says that we need to set up the return or exchange before you can use the page ---- this is either scam or a punch of high school kids running the store... unheard of practice - I had to repack the items, called my credit card company and placed the stop payment --- they can come and collect their merchandise at their leisure --- what a terrible company to work with...
I thought I knew this company and had ordered from them for over a year now and spent thousands of dollars with them. Went to return something that was a bit deceiving on their website to begin with and when I called to return, they said I would have to pay a 10% restocking fee. I asked for special consideration as a loyal customer. They said no. I asked them if they were willing to absorb the $8 restocking fee to keep me as a customer and they declined. Plenty of other places to go on the web for restaurant equipment! That's where I'm going!

As a wholesaler, we do deduct a restocking fee for the added service of processing an item back into stock. Have ordered twice from them for large orders of trashcans and got very timely, product quality is great, and pricing was as good as I could find. Getting ready to order some commercial microwaves from them as I have not found any other site beating their pricing.

I ordered plasic containers and I paid 87 dollars for 250count containers. Wrong size, to return this item I will only get 40 something back plus I have to pay for return so that mean I might only get 20 back. This is BS, riff off. My first and last time!
I have purchased over 60k woth of merchandise from this company and nothing is going correctly, having issues with appliances, missing pieces from merchandiser, and cant even get a call or an email from them stating whats going on, they have given me a run around for the last few weeks, to no end in sight, I am sorry to say that I will never do business with this company and will never recommend them to anyone. Once they have your $$ they don't give a care for you. Poor excuse of a company so large.
