Ordered a recliner Monday, 4/26 then turned around and cancelled it yesterday morning, 4/27. When I received my confirmation email with delivery date of SEPTEMBER 29TH - OCTOBER 7TH... Uhhhh, no thanks! I emailed asking why such a long time out, no one got back with me. Won't order from them again.

I bought two new beds from Wayfair to fill my guest rooms.

When I opened the first one and put it together, I realized that the product was incredibly cheap - plywood slats, hollow-core headboard and footboard, and cheap plastic dowels. I wasn't happy with how flimsy it was and that's when I also discovered that Wayfair doesn't allow you to return anything once you've assembled it. They tell you you have 30 days to return it, but you'd better decide whether you like it or not before you put it together.

Additionally, both of the beds I purchased arrived as different products than I'd ordered - they substituted a product with a different name that appeared the same, and claim that their order policy allows them to do this.

Lastly, I posted a review of the bed I'd assembled and Wayfair quickly deleted it, as well as a couple other 1-star reviews that had been the most recent reviews.

I went to return the other bed - I didn't want to risk it being a piece of crap like the first one - and then found out that their free shipping only applies to sending it to you, to return it I would need to pay shipping myself

Delivery

Delivery is done by FedEx and not Wayfair. Forget from delivery date that you want. Sales person can agree with the date you asked for but then FedEx have their own dates and you need to deal with them. I did not buy from FedEx!

I placed a few orders years ago with Wayfair and had smooth transactions even if the carrier mistreated the piece. They made it right. Fast forward to now and boy have they really changed. I can't even get shipping information. Order was placed a week ago and nothing. I cancelled because I wouldn't be able to take off work with no notice. I called to see if I could get the delivery fixed. Turned out they said it must be a glitch in their system and gave me pointers on how to handle it. They said I could reorder. The item is now $100 more. They will not price match even though it was their system goof. Guess I should really thank them. They saved me from a $700 mistake of ordering from them. They are also saving me from dealing with them ever again. The most convoluted and idiotic system that will drive customers away. Not to mention the rudeness. Nothing like they were before.

I've bought at 5 different times, an open box cornhole game, that within a week, they sent me an email saying, sorry, we are refunding your credit card. Different cornhole board at different times, same result.

Great company!

With this pandemic everyone is ordering on line. Great to know you can count on a some companies that provides items, easy exchange or returns. Wayfair works very nice with us consumers. I have ordered couple items from Wayfair, some damaged but, they quickly are happy to exchange or give you a full refund. Happy Consumer! Thank you very much!

I bought a patio set one of the items was defective when I initially called customer service they were so nice said we will get you another one as soon as possible this was in December
Called back in January they still hadn't shipped it they said I'll be getting it January 6 call back then FOR SURE January 26 callback NOW being shipped 2/6 no tracking number so called again told 2/9 Even got an email from someone named Brandon that said he's on top of it he will make sure it goes out he never responded again
Today I'm told February 15!
I don't believe I'm ever getting it there's no phone number to talk to the executive offices
I signed up for a Wayfair credit card they already got their payment February 2 that was my mistake I should've put it on visa had I done that I could've disputed it until I got all my merchandise they offered $40 off if you get a Wayfair credit card.

I've never had such runaround from any company in my entire life if I call on the 15th they'll probably tell me I'll get it in March if I call in March they'll probably tell me I'll get it in April

I don't believe I'm ever getting it and they think I'm going to give up which I won't I'm entitled to it!
Prior to ordering it since I had never ordered before I did see some reviews that said the item didn't last in the sun but I don't have a HOT HUMID sun where I am like Florida
A couple of people said the rattan was defective so before I ordered it I called they said if it does come defective no problem we have great customer service will replaced
Not the case I looked on their website they have all kinds of awards? I would recommend ordering from Amazon or Overstock

Double charging
April 5, 2021

On march 18th ordered a bed frame from wayfair which said it would be delivered in a few days. It is now the 5th of april and have only received part of the bed. Not to mention they were continually attempting to charge my card for the item. They said to make sure the funds were still available. Had to pending charges for the same item. Then both of them posted! I spoke to a different person for the next 4 days and they explained my card was not charged for the item twice but that the pending would come off. I spoke to my bank numerous times who explained the funds would go back on when wayfair refunded the money for the extra charge. Spoke to someone from there case management team who explained it was the fault of the bank and kept pushing the date out for when the charge would drop off. They tried saying they voided one of the charges. Then it was turned over to the finance department by a regular representative. She sent the information over to the finance department and soon I received an email back from her stating the finance department found the problem and refunded one if the charges. The next day I had my funds back into my account. Then the rep from the case management team sent me an email stating the funds were back on my card like she had told me to just wait. She explained basically it was the fault of my bank and that they had voided it. I responded back explaining I received an email from the finance department stating it was wayfairs fault and I was double charged. I went in to explain they had to REFUND the charge and it was back in my card the next day. Of course I didn't get a response back. I am still waiting for the rest of my bed which is still sitting in Georgia and I live in missouri.

I ended up with a double order on a mirror. I returned it. No refund happened.
Can't seem to solve. I don't have proof of return. I ate it for $145.00.
I'll never use them again,

The worst

They delivered my couch and left it on the street. I said goodbye to it because I can't move it on my own and it's going to walk. They said they contacted UPS to comeback to bring it inside the building. That was a lie I didn't hear from UPD

Wayfair uses deceptive bait-and-switch practices to scam unsuspecting consumers. Their customer service is unwilling to provide any resolution. After cancelling a sale item I ordered and paid for nearly a week after the fact they still have my money even though they claimed to have issued a refund.
They stated their sales "are a gamble" as to whether you will actually get the item and they can do nothing to help.
Do not be duped into thinking you are getting a great deal! They will cancel your order, keep your money, and try to further scam you out of more money by trying to sell you a lower quality item at a higher price as a "resolution."

I had ordered two items from Wayfair, a decorative tray and a small cabinet. The tray arrived in one piece, but the cabinet was broken and appeared to have been dropped. I took pictures of the damage and sent them to Wayfair customer service. Within a short time, they called me to ask about the damage. I described the damage to the cabinet, and they offered a store credit. I used the store credit to purchase another cabinet (different style), which arrived double boxed and well-padded, without a single scratch. Their customer service was very helpful.

Never Delivered
March 13, 2021

Ordered a Table first week of January deliverey date second week of January. Called when it didn't arrive on the 3rd week. Was told it was lost. Then I was told it was no longer available until March. So here it is March. Didn't come so I called and they said it had too many labels on it so it was returned so now I am told they will re ship it. Hummmm let's see if it will come? To be determined... I am very upset with this company!

I bought 4 barstools, only to realize that 3 were broken and repaired.
Notified Wayfair and was reimbursed for 3.
What am I going to do with 1 barstool?
I was not going to buy 3 more of something I knew was not built well.
So, I am stuck with 1 barstool.

Reasonable prices

I've ordered from them couple times already. It's shipped to me and i have to put it together myself. Which is expected, unless you pay extra for it to be put together for you. Shipment comes quite fast, I got my desks within 1 week of my order date. So far I've been happy with their products.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Had too cancel an online order and realized it was the incorrect item. I called immediately after placing the order to cancel. They told me the order was already processed? And I would have to pay a penalty, go figure...
