I have made a few orders from Wayfair, and all have been a gross disappointment, both in quality of item, and customer service. This culminated in my last two orders (and this review) where, after two weeks of them being past due on the delivery date, without an update, I had to reach out to this useless outfit to discover the problem. Apparently, my account had a one cent balance on it, obviously caused by their inept payment processing, and this had resulted in them not fulfilling the delivery (but they had no problem still charging my card on the order date). After clearing the one cent from the balance, they processed the orders, but just about every item in both orders had to be cancelled because they were now out of stock. Just writing this review has me irate again at the utter incompetence and impossibly pathetic customer service.
We ordered a bed from Wayfair and haven't received the last box yet. I can't even believe 1 king headboard and frame was shipped in 3 different shipments. We opened the first box up and the quality and the details of the bed on their website was misleading. We called and spoke to a supervisor and she said we had to pay for shipping it back to them. The shipping was over $200! 1/3 of the cost of the bed. She said it's their policy and wouldn't budge. It's not our fault the website was misleading and the quality is horrible! We will never buy from Wayfair again nor use their credit cards we both have. We will be canceling both! We will just sell the bed on OfferUp and go to a real furniture store to buy a quality bed. I will be sending a complaint form to the consumer protection department in DC.
When you remove Mike Lindell's My Pillow products just because corporate execs disagree with him politically or are afraid of the Left, you alienate MOST of your customers! This is a STUPID business practice! Restore freedom of choice in purchasing!
I ordered a living room set from wayfair. Already got rid of my old living room set and was waiting for my new set to arrive AFTER they already charged my credit card and provided me with an estimated delivery date. 4 days later I get an email saying my ordered was cancelled. When I called they claimed it was a technical glitch and they never had it or someone else bought it, they don't know what happened. If you never had the item then you can not list it for sale, this is false advertisement! I want my item.
My guess is that they list fake items that don't exist at a low price to attract more people to their site, then they claim it was a glitch. How is this legal?
I will no longer purchase from wayfair until or unless they reconsider their boycott of Mypillow. It is not Wayfairs right to take away anyone's 1st amendment right to free speech. I will influence anyone I can to discontinue shopping from your company.
Mostly junk you can find at Walmart cheaper. Customer service is beyond poor. Emails are answered with pattern answers. No one cares.
Alot of things they sale is broke has come in damp throw had matted food in it. Had a mattress delivered when we open inside was bedbugs do be careful. Not worth it will buy from hsn or qvc better merchandise
We booked assembly with Handy for our new baby's room. Saman did a great job and was clean and fast!
I recently purchased 2 nightstands from Birch Lane. I had an email with 15% off. When I placed the order I couldn't find the coupon code on the site or when googled. I figured it expired and placed the order anyway. Within 10 minutes I got an email confirmation and saw the original email with the coupon code. I emailed customer service asking to apply the coupon and was denied. Their policy does not allow to apply coupons after purchase. Extremely disappointed that I paid $650 and could have saved a good deal. I will no longer be shopping with any of the Wayfair companies.
I bought something from Wayfair based on a previous purchase of same thing, by clicking on my previous order. So I placed my order under the assumption that it would be the same product. Sadly it was not even close, and Wayfair will not honor a free return. Customer service rep was rude by repeating the same thing over and over again. They must be reading from scripts. I will never buy from them again.

Wish it could be NO stars. While shopping online, I got notified from my bank of a withdrawal from my account... from WAYFAIR! It went through PayPal, which was not linked to Wayfair. Wiped out my bank account. I immediately (within 5 minutes) cancelled everything, while trying to figure out what happened. I contacted Wayfair and they said they cancelled all but one item... the most expensive... because it had been shipped. I would have to wait for it to arrive and arrange to have it sent back. (I asked how they shipped within 5 minutes... no answer.) Today, SIX DAYS later, I get a message from WAYFAIR saying my item shipped. SIX DAYS ago it couldn't be cancelled because IT HAD BEEN SHIPPED! I also have not been refunded for the other items. Automatic payments are now being denied from my account because of THEIR MISTAKE. They had the nerve to send a 10% off coupon off a future order (A
FUTURE order?! Ha!) I am hoping these reviews and a local tv story will keep others from this headache!
STAY AWAY FROM WAYFAIR! I just called Wayfair twice about an order placed 16 days ago. Wayfair claims the order will ship in 3 days and arrive 11 days from now. When I asked about a discount due to their lack of shipping and the inconvenience of waiting, I was offered a 10% discount for a future purchase. I have NO intention of purchasing from Wayfair again, so I am not interested. I was then told that if I placed the same order today, I would have it in 13 days. That has NOTHING to do with my current order! Wayfair should have shipped my initial order long before now! I spoke with a customer service agent and 2 managers. I will NEVER purchase from Wayfair again! STAY AWAY FROM WAYFAIR!
I will never use Wayfair again, because the product I got did not match the picture or video attached to the product. Also I was extremely disappointed by their unprofessional and rude customer service. My fiancé and I purchased a bed frame with enough time to get it before our wedding. When we received it, it only had 2 storage drawers not 4 drawers like the picture and instructional video had indicated. I called customer service, and they pointed out the fine print that briefly mentioned 2 drawers in a ton of other fine print. But the picture and video had 4 drawers, so it's very misleading. They apparently did have a 4 drawer option, but it cost more. I offered to pay the difference to get the 4 drawer option if they could expedite the shipping so we could get it before our wedding. They weren't willing to pay for the shipping. I offered to pay the expedited shipping, and they said there were many delays and I still might not get it in time. So I decided to keep it and asked for a discount, since I was settling for a product that I didn't really want and was misrepresented. The first woman I spoke with offered me a discount for my trouble, which I thought was nice. However, I asked to speak to a manager to double check if there were any way to get the 4 drawer in time in a last ditch effort. She said the manager might be able to help. When she transferred me, the manager didn't help and took back the offer of a discount. She was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. She left me with nothing to make up for settling for a product that was misrepresented and the trouble and time I spent on hold waiting to speak to someone. That took an hour of my time on the phone and on hold. Don't buy from Wayfair, because you won't get what you think you're buying. Don't bother calling customer service either, because they won't help you and will just waste your time.
Received an email today stating my bookcase I ordered was cancelled for no reason after them having my $$ for 6 weeks! I understand things happen but they certainly should have contacted me before this, otherwise I would have taken advantage of the black friday/holiday sales out there. VERY FRUSTRATED!
I purchased my first large item (bathroom Vanity) with Wayfair. It has been an incredibly horrible experience, from the quality of the product, customer service, credit card charges and replacement issues.
At a price point of $1600 I expected a good quality vanity. The drawer are completely misaligned which makes it look like a very cheap vanity.
Wayfair Customer service provided very little help it regards to solving this issue.
Ultimately I will not be purchasing any further items from them.
FALSE ADVERTISING. Wayfair.ca advertises "free shipping in Canada on items over $35". They LIE.
My husband drew up plans for a table for my electric kitchen appliances, but then realized he is in no shape to build one due to his terminal cancer; so told me to look on line. After a few days of searching, we found a credenza that is perfect (on Wayfair.ca); and a small folding rolling table (on Walmart.ca). My husband told me to order these.
Well, I tried to order the credenza - from the site that advertises "free shipping in Canada on items over $35" - the shipping charge is $550! I phoned in. Apparently if I look closely at their advertising there is teeny tiny little print somewhere that excludes the free shipping on anything they wish to exclude it on.
VERY $#*!TY BUSINESS PRACTICES. VERY FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT.
Worst of the worst shipping and delivery service, unreliable, non dependable, waste of time, money and effort with plenty of broken promises coming from this company! This company really tests your PATIENCE. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
Purchased a dinning set for $730.00 only to find it weeks later on Overstock.com for $539.32. Wayfair's consumer service offered me nothing more than 10% on my next purchase. I will never buy from them again!
They have a collection of good furniture, though the actual great quality stuff is quite pricey. The real problem is the delivery. They hire bottom of the barrel delivery firms to bring the couch or dresser to your house and more often than not can have some big problems. Once I paid for indoor delivery and they left my sofa on the curb next to garbage. Ugh, that was so frustrating. I'd begrudgingly use them again but it's a risk either way.
Excuses, excuses, excuses. I was told their grace period for late delivery is 6 days. It's now been 15 days. This is ridiculous and now the fault belongs to Fed Ex. All my Amazon deliveries were here on time. What's wrong with Wayfair? Do not order!
Answer: Ive ordered several things and I believe they've all had pictures on outside- sorry.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
