Ordered a recliner from wayfair on 11/17/2020. Label created for FedEx. 2 weeks no movement. Called wayfair and they sent out another chair. FedEx still has not delivered the chair as of 11/19/2020. Keep getting deliver exception errors or label not readable and replaced. Out for delivery and another delivery exception error. Called wayfair and they refunded my money and told me they have no idea whats going on with FedEx. Will never purchase from waifair again.

When calling the people are friendly and as helpful as they can be. Wayfair return policies and credit are Awful. It takes weeks to have a return credit to your account.

Mixed bag

I used them a few times. Once was great. Once was dreadful despite paying more for some quality white glove delivery BS. Once was mixed. Their products are decent but pricey. But the delivery is something you really need to be careful about because that's where things can and do go wrong. They'll pretend you weren't home and leave your sofa out on the curb or whatever even if you paid for inside delivery. Sorry, that's just Lazy!

Wayfair is well overrated if I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your time or money shopping Wayfair. Go to a reputable place and shop in person. This place is a complete joke. I bought a tinsel Christmas tree from them and got the wrong one. They sent another one and it was flimsy and a POS. Needless to say it got sent back with a full refund and I'll NEVER shop Wayfair ever again.

We ordered a sofa on the 15 Sept which was FINALLY delivered on the 15th Nov and after waiting for 2 months it was the wrong colour... Brown instend of beige...

I Reordered a replacement on the same day 15th Nov and still waiting for it, on the same day of reordering, I requested to cancel the order as delivery was saying Christmas eve, and I found another sofa on there web in the outlet part which was available within a few days...
We ordered this on our credit card and was assured that the replacement sofa would be canceled and our card refunded...

Still trying to CANCEL and no luck so far even though its showing its on BACK ORDER until the 12 Jan... I feel they are doing everything they can so it can't be canceled...

No one can call the warehouse in poland, all they can do is send emails to request the order to canceled...

I've spent as much time and energy on this and NO ONE at the company can help and get this CANCELLED... They are saying I have to wait for it to be delivered and then refuse the delivery... REALLY, its beyond me... BEWARE... There must be so many UNHAPPY customers out there, If they run there company like this...

With this pandemic everyone is ordering on line.
Great to know you can count on a few companies that provides great items, easy exchange or returns. Wayfair works well with us consumers. I have ordered many items from Wayfair, some damaged but, they quickly are happy to exchange or give you a full refund. They schedule pickups with free return. Happy Consumer!

I made a accidental purchase in which I called and informed the company within 5 min (mostly hold time) They told me I would have to have the $1000 itrm shop to me then sent back for a refund. This literally happended 10min after purchasing the item. The customer service is rude and lie to you constantly saying they are management and supervisor. Worst company experience ever. Every bad review you read vfc about them is 100% true. It legitimately feels like ccx a scam company avoid them at all cost.

Horrible experience

Customer service is ridiculous and I had to call 6 times to get them to understand that I was missing parts.

Made a purchase

We always avoided the wayfair site. And one day we decided to give it a try and purchase a table which we could not find anywhere else. It took a month to get the order received (from Florida to GA). Upon receiving we found one box was missing and called the company. Customer service people were "very helpful" talking about how they regret about missing part and confirm the missing part to be shipped shortly with estimated arrival in 2 months (!). We of course requested a return. After looking for the same table we found the original company the wayfair purchased our table from and the price there was twice less that the wayfair sold it to us. Not to mention the table arrived in 3 days from the date of the order was place with the original company. We do not recommend to use wayfair for any needs.

I placed an order for 3 pieces of furniture on November 16th. An hour after submitting the order I decided to cancel and called customer service as nothing on website told me how to cancel. I was told the order was processing so I had to wait 24 hours to process a return. On the 17th I called customer service to "return" the items that I had asked to cancel and was told the table and chair "return" would cost me $125 but I could cancel the desk and chair with ottoman on the website. I immediately went back to the website and clicked the cancel button on the desk and the chair with ottoman. The desk cancellation was accepted but the chair showed pending cancellation. Today, Nov 20th I got an email from Wayfair that the chair cancellation couldn't be processed and I'd have to process a "return" with an undisclosed cancellation charge. I've gotten nowhere with customer service and an now addressing the dispute with my credit card company. I will NEVER EVER order from them again.

I recently made a purchase from Wayfair. When I received my item, I quickly discovered that a return was my next move. The product looked like something you would find in the free box at a yard sale. I contacted the customer service department and was told that the return of said product was completely my responsibility. Not only need I drive 40 miles to nearest post office for shipment, I was also to pay any and all shipment fees. In the end, I paid hard earned money and used much valuable time and effort in order to finish totally empty handed. Wayfair is a scam and a disgrace to retail. I hope others may learn from my mistake.

Mattress refuseal

I purchase I mattress on the 12th of November and I called to cancel on Nov. 14th. I was told I got an email stated that item was shipped but I did not. I ask about refusing the package because it is not like I have the package in possession but a Wayfair manager, Tammy didn't care. She stated I would have to pay 42.21 on a return Item which I am not returning I am refusing package. Tammy stated, she can call Federal Express for a turn around but you still will charge me 42.21. My item cost is 327.74. Which include tax and they want to charge 42.21 to because I want to refuse package. What confusing when I order it say on their website free shipping with order over 35 dollars. But they want to charge 42.21. Regardless, I would not ever order from Wayfair again because they have no integrity and seem to not care. Once you hit enter except to spend over 40 dollars for refusal or return shipping. SHM.

We have order side dresser and first time delivery come in time and went we open we found broken board. Immediately reported with picture. So they asked to refund or replacement. See quality we refund. We order sold dresser this time and site shows 1 day delivery. After 3 days we called customer care to ask why it's on hold they told it will take 2 business days to check and get back. They repeated for 3 times and now more than a week. Still they are saying we have technical glitch. They never agreed they don't have product and simply killing time. After one more week we cancelled the order. If it's urgent do use wayfair, because they are not fair. It's waste of time 3 weeks for us.

Ordered 3-sets of louvered shutters by Alpha Shutters on Aug. 31,2020 with estimated delivery date of Oct. 26,2020. Oct. 23,2020 receive email from Wayfair with revised delivery date of Nov. 13,2020. Nov. 11,2020 received another email from Wayfair with revised delivery date of Dec. 2,2020. As of Nov. 11,2020 I have cancelled the order. Total cost of order $106.00. Tomorrow I will be going to Menard's and purchasing wood and fasteners and will be making them myself. Changed the design. Cost $60.00 / $10.00 a shutter. This was for a rental property but since I am retired I have the time to make my own. Have purchased items before with prompt deliveries but this is it for me, too many other companies to purchase from.

I rented an apartment in another state last June. To avoid some of the risks of COVID exposure I purchased several items from Wayfair (twenty-eight orders). I had products that arrived broken, products that never arrived at all, products that took more than four months, and products that were delivered to my address (wrong state). In short, everything that could have gone wrong did. They routinely used the COVID pandemic as an excuse for VERY POOR customer service. My case was elevated to their Executive Resolution Team, which is a complete joke. I envision some half-qualified customer service representatives who've been given the title and who are supposed to cater to customers who've experienced a multitude of issues. Well, they do nothing. You can't get them on the phone. You leave a message and they might respond within twenty-four hours, or not at all.

One example, I purchased a $2,100 modern leather sofa that arrived with a seven-inch hole in the back from the blade of a forklift. They offered me a 10% discount if I were to keep it. I insisted on a replacement, so I waited two months for it to arrive. They attempted to deliver without notice and I was traveling out of state. We scheduled a redelivery attempt, which they missed twice. In the end, I told them to keep it and I requested a refund, which they promptly offered.

In years past I have ordered many things from them. There is no service at Wayfair, no accountability, no professionalism. I canceled my account and I will never purchase another thing from them. I would have been far better off just buy local.

Save your money. Avoid the frustration and time losses. I'm my life I have never seen an organization that failed consistently like Wayfair is doing now.

I ordered a Lazy Boy from www.Wayfair.com and checked to make sure they model I had was in stock. I was told I would get delivery in a couple of weeks. When I did not receive delivery I checked the website and found my chair was on back order and would not be delivered for several months. www.Wayfair.com was not in the least accommodating or upset about this, but of course did give me a full refund. The absolute worst service I have ever received from an online merchant.
